This 3 BR/3 full bath was designed for groups or families seeking a topical island vacation with all the modern luxuries. Easy access to beautiful Caribbean beaches- just minutes to the quiet and pristine Blue and Red Beaches, the best on the island! This listing features a updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops with pots, pans and dishes for cooking and eating. We provide a washer/dryer in unit, a lovely large mahogany dining table perfect for group meals and a Smart TV with WiFi internet! The living room has been recently updated with brand new sofa and loveseat with French doors that open to the expansive veranda. Similarly, each bedroom features French doors opening to the veranda that lines the entire back of the building, facing the Caribbean Sea with views or Caribbean sea and the nature preserve. This is the perfect spot for your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The master suite has a queen size bed and its own large bathroom with double vanity. The two other bedrooms have queen size beds, each with their own full bathroom. Two large air conditioners in two rooms plus ceiling fans in each room keep the house cool, along with the lovely sea breezes. The house is surrounded by lush, green landscaping and vibrantly colored tropical plants. Security is not a concern here- the house is enclosed by walls with a secure front gate and easy, safe parking. This is one of the closest houses to the BEST beaches on the island that are located within the nature preserve the entrance to which is just across the street. For those unfamiliar with Vieques, a car or golf cart is highly recommended to ease travel around the island. You should try to book a car rental prior to your arrival on the island. We also recommend pre-booking ferry or air travel to Vieques prior to confirming your VRBO reservation. We will not refund your stay due to poor travel planning. We also have two, 2BR/1 bath fully furnished apartments that sleep 4 guest available for weekly or monthly rentals (VRBO listing 750125) Long term rental available. We ask that this home is respected and cared. Our house keeper will meet you at property to hand you keys and complete a walk through prior to your stay in a effort to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. Damage to the house or breaking the terms of the lease (ex. extra people without permission, pets) will be reported to the owner.

Tranquility
We loved this property. It was big enough to give each one of us our own space and it was great to just sit back and enjoy the view. The stars and mountains are amazing at this location. If you're not into nature and need a technology this isn't the place for you but if you're like us and just want to get away from it all, this will be perfect. Bring bug spray! đ

Fantastic location, clean & comfortable.
We had a wonderful stay. The property is super close to the Wildlife preserve (Caracas & La Chiva beaches) and centrally located between the 2 towns. We learned that addresses don't really exist in Vieques but once you get the GPS location its easy to find. The property has stunning views, lots of breezes - we never needed the AC - and our host was very accessible and friendly. Chickens, frogs, birds and horses trotting down the street can be heard in the mornings - we loved that. We hope to return to Vieques and would certainly stay here again.

Ziaâs house was great. It is very spacious and comfortable and the views of the mountains and ocean are breathtaking. Zia was extremely helpful and flexible and we will definetly be back soon.

Though there is A/C, it was only in 1 room and that was a bedroom. 1 other bedroom, the master, had A/C, but it didnt work. The main part of the house did not have A/C. Also lacking enough towels for showering.

Property was as advertised and host was very accommodating. VRBO however did not communicate the visit to owner but we lucked out and were able to sleep the night on a last minute timeline.

We are a family of 5, that often use Home Away to find secure, clean and ready to stay homes. All properties that we have booked comply with these qualities. Unfortunately this home was not the same experience. The house was dirty inside and outside. There were cockroaches in all the rooms, kitchen and living room. It was a big surprise for us and I will not book this home again. Its a huge house with great potential, but the owner needs to take more care of the physical conditions and pest controls.

Unfortunately this home was not the same experience. The house was dirty inside and outside. There were cockroaches in all the rooms, kitchen and living room. It was a big surprise for us and I will not book this home again. Its a huge house with great potential, but the owner needs to take more care of the physical conditions and pest controls.

This is a HUGE flat with spectacular views and a friendly, helpful attendant. First off- Itâs a giant flat- 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 4 sets of French doors leading to the spacious balcony. The location-10 minute drive to Esperanza, adjacent to the reserve, was perfect for our short stay.

It was a great space for a large family. Bathrooms are beautiful and Bedrooms comfortable. But the inside of house could use a good cleaning of spiderwebs and dust. Some of the rusting stuff could use replacing.Isabel was a great host took great care of us. We were late coming cause of the ferry mess is disorganized from Ceiba.She meet us at the ferry and even took us shopping and to get food. Overall the house was good.

The location of the property is excellent. Nestled in a mountain, the view from there is spectacular, the breeze coming in through the windows is wonderful and refreshing. The community is very calm and feels safe. It is extremely close to spectacular beaches, restaurants that are still open after Hurricane Maria. However, it is imperative that several things happen for this space to gain five stars.1. Everything was dirty. The tables covered in dust, the shower area had cockroaches, dust, cobwebs just like the walls. All that can be arranged by hiring someone who every time you rent the apartment, do a good cleaning.2. The kitchen cabinets and drawers had traces of cockroach poop. It is necessary to clean them thoroughly inside and to wash all the utensils found there.3. There is no wifi, no cable or dish, there is a very small dvd player but it has no cable to connect to the tv. So the use of the tv is none. It would make the property even more attractive if they provide wifi and the cable for the use of the dvd through the tv.4. There are no pots or ladles. They should buy a set of pots whose surfaces do not allow the food to stick.5. They should put curtains on the doors of rooms that do not let sunlight. Once dawn, the sun hits the face and does not allow the dream from then on.Finally, even though it seems that I do not recommend the place for everything mentioned, I think that if they resolve everything I have criticized but with the intention of improving, the place is excellent and well worth giving love to make it even better . I must say that the person in charge, Irene, is charming and very willing.

Excellent location but needs improvement in some areas
The property's location is A+, excellent, in the middle of both "small towns" in Vieques, with a beautiful view and a small supermarket close by. It is literally a 5 minute drive to the most beautiful and pristine beaches on the island. Nevertheless, the property has several areas of opportunity: cleanliness, some of the kitchen appliances were not in good conditions to be used, there were not enough towels for all the occupants and the rooms did not have curtains, so the light was excessive during the morning and it affected our sleep. Also, one of the two air conditioners did not work, although the night was breezy and the rooms had fans. My recommendation would be to improve the overall cleanliness and buy new kitchen utensils before renting the property again.

Beautiful and spacious property with amazing views
This property was a lot bigger in person than in the pictures. The showers were huge and very modern. The views from the balcony were amazing and you can see all of the stars at night. The house keeper Edbert was extremely helpful. The unit was also very clean and well kept.

We loved the view from the balcony! Very large space for three bedrooms and three bathrooms. We were not expecting to have wifi but even though we tried a couple of times they told us they sometimes have problems with the provider. We really didn't mind at all. The phones work fine everywhere except inside of Vieques Natural Reserve. The apartment has a flat screen with "dish" which is very helpful if you have kids. In general the experience was great! Very attentive staff with whatever we needed or with questions regarding where to find the best beaches or good restaurants.

If you are looking for an easy to find, fully stocked and comfy place to stay in Vieques this is it. Gardo, the man that watches over the house, pick you up from the ferry and makes sure you have what you need is an absolute dream. He is such a sweet heart and ready to help. Renting a car for the island is a must and he even took us to pick it up the dat after we arrived.
The house has an incredible view off the balcony as you can see from the pictures. We did not turn the AC on at all. Just left the doors open and fans turning for wonderful cool breezes. Even though you are a few kilometers away from the bio bay and its mosquito glory the bugs are NOT an issue in this location. Plenty of hot water and comfy beds.
The only bad part about this rental is the fact that we only stayed there for part of our trip and left to go to the main island at all. Next time we will book this place for the entire duration. The people on Vieques are wonderful and we miss it so much.
You will not be sorry if you decide to stay here.
