Camp Lil Henry is a cute two bedroom, two bathroom cabin in the Summit! Located right on Main Street on the East side of town making this cabin one of the best vacation rental destinations. You are just feet away from the nearest shops, and blocks from the nearest restaurants. This is a single level, ranch-style property with easy access through the front door with just a couple of steps. As you walk into the front door you will want to drop your bags and call this home! With a wide-open floor plan, newly remodeled kitchen, living room, and dining area, you'll get to enjoy just what renters are seeking in a vacation rental destination. The living room has that warm, welcome home feel with a flat-screen TV that offers a relaxing environment for you to watch satellite and a DVD player from the sofa that pulls out into a queen sleeper. The gas stove also adds to the coziness of the living room where you can sit and watch the flames glow softly behind the glass while adding heat to space. Venturing into the kitchen you will find that there is no such thing as too many amenities -- you are surrounded by lots of counters and pantry space to keep all your non-perishables during your visit, stocked cupboards with all the bare essentials for cooking those famous family dishes and new stainless steel appliances that take this kitchen to the next level with a gas range/oven, dishwasher, and large refrigerator. The dining area sits off the kitchen with a large dining table for the perfect family gathering during the holidays. On through the back hallway, you will find the Master bedroom complete with a Queen bed, TV, and private full bathroom with a washer/dryer. Travel down the front hallway on the other side of the kitchen and it will lead you to the guest bedroom furnished with a Queen bed, TV, and full bathroom. This home offers free WiFi for guests to enjoy during their stay. This cabin also offers amenities such as a large porch with outdoor furniture where you can sit and watch the hustle and bustle of the town or the wildlife that freely cruise down Main Street. Around back you will find a fenced yard for children to play, a gazebo sheltering the Gas BBQ Grill, making outdoor grilling a breeze, and a large parking area where trucks pulling ATV trailers will have no issues getting in/out. $75 per pet/2 pet max, charged separately by the property management company after booking. This home does Not have AC **4 Wheel Drive/ Chains are highly recommended during winter months. **

Really enjoyed this cabin! Property was clean and well furnished. Enough parking for a trailer and side by sides. The backyard was a huge plus for the dogs. Would be happy to stay at Camp lil Henry again!

Nice property located Main Street. Enjoyed spacious living area. Showers a bit small, but doable. Plenty hot water. View of the mountain across the street. Shops, eating etc within walking distance. Back off the street enough to enjoy evening sitting on large front deck.
Ceiling fans. Addition of floor fans would be nice. A little noisy first thing in the morning as the Bearly Awake coffee company opens next door. But then again, we enjoyed the coffee shop each morning!! All in all a very pleasant stay.

This is our 3rd year to stay in the cabin and it is the same each time. Very clean, plenty of towels and kitchen ware. The hot water in the showers are amazing! We never ran out of hot water with two families. It is just on the edge of town where there isn't a lot of traffic. The coffee shop next door is an added bonus. I would recommend this cabin.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was so warm and inviting when we got there. The lights were on, the TV on, the temperature was perfect all thanks to the management team! The cabin is beautiful even more so than the pictures I think. It was very clean and the kitchen has about everything you can think of. The location is fantastic! It’s easy to walk for a meal or to go shopping. We will be back and will rent this cabin again.

Perfect location
The stay was very good. Overall very clean and well- appointed. Walking distance to just about everything, including a wonderful coffee shot next door. It snowed a lot while we were there, and we were happily surprised when the skid steer plowed the driveway for us :) thank y’all!
A few issues:
- the property is supposed to sleep 6. 2 bedrooms with a queen bed and a pullout sofa. The bedroom beds were made, but we had no confirmed clean bedding for the pullout. There were a couple of mattress covers stuffed in the dresser drawer and a blanket folded on a bathroom shelf. Then another mattress cover was in a plastic bag on the bathroom shelf. I ended up washing a mattress cover and the blanket that night and pulling the quilt off a bedroom bed for my kiddos. I would have preferred a full set of bedding (including pillows) be placed in a bag in the sofa so I knew it was clean.
-we only had 4 bath towels in the house when we checked in. I had to go to the office to get more (and appropriate bedding) that next morning. Drying off with wet, used towels is not fun, so we were very thankful for the dryer that night.
- there is 0 storage for 6 ppl. One bedroom has a decent dresser. The other just has a small vanity. No closets in bedrooms to hang. I would recommend bringing a hanging garment bag type suitcase to hang on the door.

This was our 2nd time in this house. Always very clean and nice. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Will be staying again next Christmas.

Great location if you prefer being in town. Clean & well stocked kitchen. But..... NO CLOSETS! Tiny, inadequate bedroom furniture. I was there with 3 other women, & no place to put anything!!! No screens on the windows!!! You’re in the mountains for mountain air!!!

Wonderful cabin
The cabin was well represented by the description and pictures. Very clean and the location made for an easy walk or short drive to any of the restaurants. The woodworking craftsmanship in the cabin was incredible and beautiful. The only draw back is that it is right on Main street so you are watching cars go by when you are sitting on the porch but the river is just a short walk away.

Great little get-away for our family
Our family of 4 stayed here for a ski trip over Spring Break 2019. This cabin was great for us. Plenty of room with the 2 bedrooms and when my son got tired of getting kicked all night by his sister, the fold out couch came in very handy. The fireplace kept everything nice and warm. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there as were tons of extra blankets, pillows, etc. The washer/dryer came in very handy. The only thing that may have been lacking was a snow shovel. As a bonus, you're right across the street from a great sledding hill. We walked over there every evening after skiing got in a few sledding runs.

Everything was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is not having a blow dryer in the bathroom. I have gotten so used to traveling without one as that is now a given in hotels and other Rental units we have stayed in. Everything else was wonderful. We would certainly consider renting again

Relaxing and comfortable stay in a charming community.
This was our first visit to Red River and we fell in love. The area is beautiful and not too busy. Met our children and grandchildren there who were staying about 5 miles out of town and enjoyed watching them on the slopes and shopping during the day and then enjoying family time in the evening. The accommodations at Camp Lil Henry were perfect for my husband and I and our little Bichon. We hope if the Lord is willing, we will return again to this charming home and community.

The house was fantastic - loved the book of how House was refurbished.
We were there the hottest week of year and SURPRISED that air conditioning was not available! Mattresss REALLY soft and was very miserable sleeping. One of the CLEANEST AND WELL KEPT house we have stayed in with VRBO!! Cuto’s to housekeeping. ALL that we spoke with were very accommodating!!! Red River employees were great!

The house was in the perfect location, very close to the slopes! The check-in/out process was extremely easy. The house was adorable and had ample space for a family of 4. It was new and very well laid out. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking tool needed. Each room had a TV, comfy bed and bathroom (with heated floors-yeah). There was a washer and dryer in the house which was a HUGE bonus! The only thing we wished this house had was a covered/locked/heated porch so you can take off your nasty ski boots and clothes before entering the house. And...maybe a new couch. It was a little worn. Other than that...this was a perfect location. Can't wait to come back!
