The lifts are just outside your door, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Stray Dog Cantina enjoying green chile stew and fresh squeezed margaritas. Black Diamond Express for morning latte and the St Bernard for drinks and live entertainment. Our 2 Bedroom, 1 3/4 bath end unit is perfect for a young family or several adults. Our unit features, a king size bed, a queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. Full service kitchen, satellite TV, stereo, wifi access and fireplace complete our amenities. An indoor hot tub is on the property for your after ski enjoyment.

Overall experience was very good. Very comfortable place. A few minor points. I could not quite get my AWD car up the road in winter. I was warned that 4 wheel drive would be needed or they would shuttle us from a general parking lot. The shuttle service was fine.
It’s not quite ski in/out. You have to traverse a pretty steep hill to get to first lift or gondola. Mon/tues there were no restaurants open for dinner in the ski village. There is a small store available.

Great for my wife and our son and two friends. You can ski down to the beginner lift to then ski to the main base area and you can ski directly to the end of the condo on a green trail. Quiet location away from the main base area but still ski in/out.

Great space, really enjoyed ourselves. Lodging was warm and comfortable. The team at Kandahar was very accommodating.

Cozy. Overall, we had a great stay. The mountain view with the snow was spectacular. There were 2 humidifiers available that was much needed as the air was too dry for us. We definitely needed an all wheel drive to get up the snowy mountain. Wish the hot tub was in the same building; otherwise, we would have used it.

We had a great time staying at this Kandahar condo. But beware… if you are going in the winter and DONT have a 4x4 vehicle you will need to make sure to take the shuttle up and down… and get ready to hike!! We didn’t mind and the location was amazing for ski in- ski out. The condo is warm, welcoming and well appointed. Highly recommend this place!!!

Check in was easy and the condo was very clean. Great ski in / ski out location. Plenty of room and full kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!

Condo is in a great location above the Gondolita that allowed getting to the base area by foot and by ski easy. Inside, very clean and well-kept! Would certainly go back!

Our young family of 4 loved our stay. Right across from the ski school and base/Blake, this is truly Ski in Ski out. Property management was accessible, but there wasn’t anything we needed!

The location of the condo was good. We had a child in ski school and were were able to watch her from the balcony. We were close to the gondola, but due to the weather, there were a few times it wasn’t running. So, getting up to the ski village was a little challenging. The spiral staircase was a little difficult to maneuver with a toddler. But, otherwise, the condo was very charming and had a nice view. The staff was wonderful to work with. Helpful in every way.

Two couples stayed in the unit. It was great - loved the two story layout! Master Bedroom and kitchen were a bit cramped for space but we managed just fine. Everything was clean and well appointed.
Best of all, the location is great. Easy access to gondola (to the village) or lift to access the main mountain lifts. We came back in every day for lunch to warm up before hitting the slopes in the afternoon.
Highly recommend this unit! Beware if you get in late at night (like we did), the access roadway cna get very icy and without 4wd you will have to park at the bottom and walk your things up... Best to arrive during the day and ask about the office shuttle to help you move in and out!

We loved staying here. Well equipped and compact but everything you need. The fireplace is sweet. We are skiers and this was perfect. Skiing, reading, eating and sleeping is the perfect vacation for us.

We had an absolute blast skiing in Taos this past weekend. The Churches’ place is in a fantastic location, basically ski in/out and so convenient. Had some really New Mexico touches inside and awesome fire place! We can’t wait to go back next year!

Can't get closer to the lift. We look forward to staying here again. With young kids this is one of the most convenient places on the mountain to stay. Ski in ski out!

I didn’t end up staying at this specific condo. A few days after booking this one and getting confirmation that I was all good to go, I received a call from the Kandahar Condominiums saying that the place I booked already had people staying there for that weekend. The manager I spoke to was super helpful and told me they had three other condos available that were all comparable in size/bedding/etc. they also told me I didn’t have to worry about the payment and to leave everything as is on the reservation. Long story short, every thing worked out amazing. I was so impressed with the Kandahar, the location and the place was roomier than I thought it was going to be! I would highly recommend staying at any of the condos here.

This property was everything we hoped it would be. The condo was spacious and comfortable. We were able to ski in and ski out, the lift and gondola are right there! The view is great and the fire place is perfect. It is so nice to find a place that doesn’t have that over populated resort feel. We can’t wait to go back in May!
