About this house rental
Former bar (Top of the Rock) was recently remodeled and converted into a vacation home. Open floor plan still has elements of the bar (pool table, dartboard, high top tables with bar stools) along with cozy feel of a home. Brand new kitchen, great room with 65” flatscreen TV, modern bathrooms upstairs and down. Lower level has three bedrooms which can sleep up to 8 people. Beautiful panoramic views of the Mississippi River valley from the deck and inside the home. Since we are near the river, you will hear trains which will occasionally pass by. Winter Activities - Ice fishing nearby at Lawrence Lake Marina (2 minute drive) - Snowmobile trails right next to our place - La Crosse dining scene boasts some of the best restaurants in the area - La Crosse Distilling Co. - - Lovechild Restaurant - Le Chateau Spring/Summer - Fly Fish in several different trout streams across Houston County - - Lawrence Lake Marina (aka Key West of the Midwest) is a fun spot for great food, sitting at the outdoor tiki bar and live music on Friday and Saturday’s during the summer - - Take your boat on the river with a public landing only 5 minutes away at Wildcat Landing - - Build a campfire outside and watch the stars (firewood and portable fire pit is available for you)

This was our 2nd stay, bringing family with us this time. The kids (and adults) had fun playing pool, foosball, darts, Xbox, games & cards. Never once got bored and never needed to leave. The cleanliness is outstanding. Highly recommend!

This property is amazing. The pictures do not do the property or the views justice. If you’re looking for an amazing property with spectacular views, look no further. Chris was very easy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions I had. I will definitely be back.

We loved staying at this home. It was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The views of the Mississippi River and bluffs were amazing! We had a lot of fun in the game room as well. Thanks for a great weekend!

This place is awesome! The beds are very comfortable with almost new pillows. The view is beautiful and there is ample room to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need and the games and speaker system give you so many things to do! Highly recommend if you can find a time to visit.

What a great place to stay! It was clean and spacious and well stocked. Had a great deck and lots of windows with a great view of the river. Close to lots of nearby cities that we hit up for shopping and eating. Loved how all the bedrooms were on a separate floor. The main floor had lots of games and TV’s. It was a great place to relax and spend time together. We especially enjoyed playing pool and darts. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back again.

This was a great place for our annual family summer get away! The surrounding areas had lots for both kids and adults to do and the house was the perfect place to come back in to to relax and play games and enjoy the beautiful views of the Mississippi River.

Girl’s weekend was a total success thanks to this amazing property. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The view of the Mississippi River was beautiful. The proximity to LaCrosse allowed us to find some great activities and awesome food. Would totally rent this property again.

Beautiful, spotless home with gorgeous views of the river. Such a fun layout with game room and living area flooded with natural light from wrap around windows. This place is one of those gems that is far better than the photos, which were great!
Morning coffee on the rooftop deck watching bunnies frolic in the wildflowers near the waterfront.
The host was quick to answer our questions before arrival and everything was perfect from check in to departure.

We loved our stay at the top of the Rocks venue. Every bed was comfortable. We most enjoyed watching the barges move up and down the river. I most enjoyed the beautiful equipped kitchen. The dart team enjoyed the dart board for practice every day before heading to the tournament. Chris was an exceptional host.

Great views of the river and surrounding bluffs. We stayed here for a graduation weekend and everyone enjoyed the pool table, foosball and darts. The large open area is a great hangout spot for a larger group. The deck space is also very nice. We had a couple of minor issues/questions on check in, but Chris was very quick to respond. Overall we had a nice stay at the property.

This was our third visit here. The house is clean and the view is amazing! We all had a great time playing darts and pool and just hanging out together. The sound system is fantastic. The house is well stocked. We had everything we needed. Chris was great to work with and always got back to me promptly to answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

We had a Celebration of Life in LaCrescent and this property was just 10 minutes away. We decided to make the most of it and spend the entire weekend with our daughter, nephew and his family. The 4 year old up through the 54 year olds had plenty to do at this property. And the views of the river were amazing! The place was extremely clean, and Chris (our host) was absolutely amazing to work with! I have shared this property with several others since then and we are hoping to go back again soon!

Extremely clean place that was stocked with kitchen supplies so we could cook and grill and eat like kings all while enjoying the amazing sunrise evey morning. Great stay!

Stayed here for our daughter’s college graduation. She wasn’t planning to stay at the house but once she saw it she decided to stay. We had a fabulous time. The main area was perfect for playing games and gathering. The views were so pretty with the new snow. This place would also be fantastic in the summer. Would love to stay here again.

My mom and I stayed here for my mom's 61st birthday and holy cow it was gorgeous, well kept, and so many activities!
We had planned on going shopping in lacrosse, but we loved it so much at the house we stayed in the entire time. The pictures online are beautiful, but they don't do the place justice what so ever.

This place had everything and more. Lots of room to spread out and play games. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make some meals. If it wasn't so muggy out we would have loved to use the grill and enjoy the beautiful view off the patio.

I surprised my wife by renting this house. Our son and his girlfriend came in from Missouri, our other son, our daughter and her wife, from Illinois. The house was designed and equipped for large gatherings. We all had a blast playing card games, pool, darts, video games, basketball, hanging out on the deck with quite the view, grilling, cooking big breakfasts, and just all being together. During our three day stay, we only left to do the Pizza/beer cruise, swim at Petibone beach, and have a drink at the Tiki bar. The home is just too comfortabe and fun-no reason to go out for long. Thank you, Chris for everything—the immaculate house to stay in which is gorgeous and so much to do. Thank you for all of you emails keeping us informed and for answering questions as far as things around to do. Loved the informative binder and the postcard suggestion. You and your home are top notch!

We stayed in the house with family and had a great time. The views and peacefulness are amazing. This fishing on Lawrence Lake was fantastic. The neighbors are all very friendly. We made a few new friends on the street. We would definitely book this place again.

This house was great, better than expected. The upstairs is spacious and the deck space is perfect for morning coffee or shaded in the hot afternoon. Nice outdoor space. Very tiny and quiet town nearby, neighborhood is very friendly. Beautiful location!
