About this house rental
Situated in Collingwood, this charming house for £207 per night is a great option for your next break. To all booked and future guests: As your host, I want to assure you I will be implementing extra cleaning measures due to COVID-19. As a retired RN I know what needs to be done to keep you safe while you enjoy your time at Bill’s Place. Also, Bill’s Place is situated on 3 acres of property which means guests are not in close proximity to other people. 2 queen bedrooms and 1 double bedroom on upper level, 1 double bedroom on lower level. 3 night minimum stay on long weekends. New 6 person hot tub just off a newly constructed back deck. Includes patio furniture and a new barbecue (Weber 2021). NO EXTRA CHARGE for use of hot tub. Fire pit with sturdy Adirondack chairs, cushions and tables. Screened summer room attached to the house. Very large play area for children. Lots of outside games provided for guests. Corn Toss Boards. Badminton. Includes a full size volleyball net.

Location was central (10 minutes) to the village and downtown Collingwood. Ideal for our stay, and the house was clean and had several things to keep us entertained during our stay

Great getaway
Barb was very easy to reach during our stay to answer any of our questions and made the check in very simple. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We especially liked that things were labeled and easy to locate. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, along with the games set up in the backyard.

Amazing spot in Collingwood !
Barb is a wonderful host and was always super quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay ! The house is a great proximity to everything in Collingwood, just a short drive to Scandinavia spa, and the village ! Definitely looking forward to staying in this house again in the future !

This was our third time visiting Bill's Place and our family always has a fantastic time here! It has absolutely everything you need, is very clean, and has a beautiful view. Much Needed R&R
We loved our stay here. The 6 of us came in desperate need of a break, and we left feeling relaxed and ready to tackle our daily life. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Girls Weekend Getaway
Location was perfect, only minutes away from Blue Mountain Village and downtown shopping. Christmas decor was very well done including the beautifully lit Christmas tree. The hot tub was our added bonus. Very relaxing ambiance and home setting. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!! The Girls

I have rented many cottages over the years and can easily say that attention to detail at Bills place far exceeds anything I’ve ever seen. It’s not just that everything is clean, organized and labeled. It’s things like providing extra toiletries in case guests forgot anything. It’s the decor in every room. It’s things like Barb setting up twinkling lights for us to enjoy while in the hot tub. There are so many thoughtful details that you can clearly see that Barb is someone who loves deeply and treats all her guest as family coming home.
Thank you for making my ladies group feel so welcome. We loved Bill’s Place.

Bills Place = Great Place
We had a family gathering for 7 people ranging from 85-57 years of age. Bills Place was great for us. Easy for all to maneuver around etc. The whole place was well laid out and labelled for us to find stuff. We did not need to bring anything except food and clothing.
Communication with Barb was quick and easy She answered any questions we had almost immediately .Gave us a list of local restaurants which we used and was quite happy with her suggestions.
We hope to return for another visit for maybe an extra day next Sept.

Great Stay at Bill's Plave
Stayed at Bill's Place for the weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday. Spacious, clean and cozy cottage with helpful labels and stocked with those little things that you tend to forget. Beautifully decorated as well. My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Bill's Place and will definitely return if staying in the area again. Barb was great and checked in on us throughout our stay.

As comfortable as your own home...
My second visit to Bill's Place was the same as the first, simply amazing! The house is so well looked after, everything that you can think of is provided and its just so clean. The home is comfortable and spacious, the backyard and sun room are great as well. We had a nice relaxing family getaway! Barb is attentive, responds right away and does her best to make your stay great. We will definitely be back to this beautiful place. And the DETAILS at Bill's Place are not to be missed.

A perfect getaway in the Collingwood area
We used Barbara's house as a family gathering place for my neice's wedding. Not only was it close to the venue, but it was clean, well stocked with dishes and toiletries, everything was labeled (even light switches), and the house was tastefully decorated. She also accommodated us with our arrival and departure times. Extra perks included a 6-person hot tub, oodles of board games, a fire pit, a volleyball net and a large lot with wild turkeys, squirrels and blue jays. What more could one ask for?

Fabulous - spacious and spotlessly clean
We had an amazing 8 night stay at Bill's place recently. We arrived somewhat later than expected so Barb left us some essentials meaning we didn't have do dash out to the supermarket first thing for breakfast which made our first night very relaxing. As we were having a prolonged stay Barb also left her basement open to allow us to use the washer and dryer which was amazing - no dirty washing when I got home. In addition to the above, our flight home was late so Barb let us stay on until 2pm which meant we arrived at the airport rested and relaxed.
Bill's place was a real home from home, very comfortable with everything you would want and need from a holiday home - plenty of plates, crockery, glasses, towels, a wonderful BBQ, spacious fridge and freezer. More than enough for 5 people.
Collingwood is a great little town too with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets.
We would certainly consider returning to Bill's place if we ever return to this part of Canada.

Luxury, comfort and simplicity all in one
Bill's place was simply stunning and exceptionally perfect. I stayed there with some girlfriends for a relaxing getaway from the City. The home is situated on a 3 acre lot with a lovely red sign that sits at the edge of the lot (very helpful and easy to locate).
It is very close to grocery stores, the Scandinavian Spa, restaurants and just about anything you could think of.
The home was pristine clean and immaculate. There were cute labels throughout to help guide you from "board games to dishwasher instructions to towels for hot tub"- overall meticulously thoughtful.
We appreciated the fine details in the home such as the crystal knobs on the dressers, the exotic hand creams in the bathroom, the lovely and inspiring quotes throughout the home, endless supply of towels.
The kitchen was furnished with beautiful dishware and a plethora of cooking items and spices, with a extensive variety of coffees and teas- ideal for those who just want to come in and not think about the "extra stuff" when planning a weekend away.
Our favourite part of the entire weekend was the hot tub that just made our stay totally worth everything. Instructions were extremely clear and helpful.
The very best part of the entire experience (although everything was just perfectly awesome) was Barbara checking in and making sure we were well set up for our stay from the emails beforehand with a list of restaurants to ensuring we had everything in terms of temperatures of the home, and awareness of the lights and codes.
THIS WAS AN AMAZING AND AMAZING WEEKEND GETAWAY! My girlfriends and I would certainly not consider going anywhere else that next time we plan a girls weekend! THANK YOU BILL'S PLACE CARE OF BARBARA! :)

Idea location comfortable home
A group of 7 stayed at Bills Place and we were downhill skiers, x country skiers, and hikers. It was the perfect location to access all these activities easily. The home was very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The host was very nice and accommodating and responded to emails quickly. We would definitely return.

Absolutely loved our stay at Bill's Place. We went for the weekend to celebrate my Mom's 50th birthday and everyone enjoyed themselves very much. Everything is clean, and looks great! Very well equipped, too. The hot tub was great, easy to use and right off the deck! I only wish we could have stayed longer! Would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much again, Barb! :)

I can't say enough about Bill's place or Barb. The house was exceptionally clean, exactly as described and had every amenity you can imagine. Barb thought of every detail, including a welcome gift to make our stay wonderful. We planned a girls' birthday celebration weekend and the home location was better than perfect, located centrally between Collingwood's downtown and Blue Mountain. From a day at the spa, an afternoon of incredible shopping and ending with a great dinner, we had a wonderful time. I would recommend this rental without hesitation. Barb was extremely responsive and has everything in the house labeled for an easy stay.

My friends and I have an annual girls' weekend getaway. Bill's Place was the perfect rental for this year's trip. Conveniently located between Blue Mountain and Collingwood on a beautiful property, the house is spotless, comfortable and relaxing. One of the girls commented that it was like staying at a friend'a house.
Barbara has decorated the place with style and has thought of all that guests might need to be comfortable during their stay.
I'd highly recommend Bill's Place for a little weekend getaway or even for a family vacation.

Loved my stay! House was decorated nicely and everything was very clean. Beautiful yard, with lots of fun activities. Floors creaked and sloped a little, but it added to the charm.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bill's Place. There was not a detail missed in our stay. You can tell a great deal of care goes into this property. It was super clean and very cozy. We arrived on a Friday evening for a girls weekend. The place was exactly were the directions led us, only about 2 turns from the Village of Blue Mountain. The house was very clean and waiting for us was a nice note and a box of chocolate. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has a sewing kit just n case of a little emergency. The hot tub was very clean and all ready for us and there were plenty of towels to spare. The fire pit had plenty of seating and wood. A nice little touch was the automatic lighting around the fire pit......very cute. All of us had a wonderful weekend and many of the girls were saying "I could live here".........we are looking forward to our next girls weekend! Thanks for the lovely stay!

This house is perfect for a family. There is a lot of space and a wonderful backyard where the kids can play. This house is very clean and in a quiet area. Barbara was available to answer our questions quickly and she was a great host.
