Superlage im Zentrum von Brescia - alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar (max. 10 Minuten, nur Castello 20 Minuten). Kein Autoverkehr, weil ZTL (zona traffico limitato). Absolute Ruhe im Zimmer zum Hof. Zimmer ausreichend groß, ebenso die Nasseinheit. Sehr gute Betten. Frühstücksangebot von guter Qualität, der extra bestellte Espresso sehr gut. Sehr freundliche und bemühte Chefin und Tochter (noch dazu in deutscher Sprache). Informationen für Check In ohne Personal und für Parkmöglichkeiten in Parkhäusern sehr präzise. Die Zufahrt zum Hotel für Packmanöver ist zwar nicht bis zum Quartier möglich, aber in 2 Quergassen bis zu nur 40 bzw. 60m Entfernung. Lift vorhanden. Viele gute Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Nur wenig: Mehr Ablageflächen in der Nasseinheit und eine zusätzliche Sitzgelegenheit im Zimmer wären schön.
Das Zimmer zum Hof ist relativ finster!

Perfekte Lage in der Altstadt. Sehr schön renoviert, alles relativ neu.
Parkhäuser werden vom Hotel empfohlen.
Keine Kritik, jederzeit wieder, werde ich weiterempfehlen.

Heel fris en fijn hotel. Heerlijk groot bed. Kamer was super schoon. Wij waren even bang voor straatgeluid maar ramen isoleren perfect. Badkamer schoon en heel goed met voldoende handdoeken.
Bij aankomst lagen er twee leuk opgevouwen mooie badjassen op t bed. Ontbijt was heerlijk met veel keuze, ook een menukaart voor lekkers uit de keuken zoals roerei.
Ontvangst was leuk en gehele verblijf was zeer aangenaam. Lidia is een top gastvrouw met alle medewerkers.
Bagage mocht blijven staan omdat we prachtige stad nog in zijn gegaan na uitcheck.
Echt n aanrader ! Door de 8 kamers en de goede verzorging heeft het n gevoel van n familiehotel.

One is tempted, following the previous reviews, to find fault. We could find no faults. The room was splendid, the people an advert for Italian charm and hospitality, and the breakfast was excellent.

Come hanno recuperato gli spazi con cura, ambienti accoglienti e organizzati benissimo sebbene in piccolo spazio non manca niente! Ottima la colazione! Provate le omelette!! E poi la posizione e il personale gentile e accogliente

The staff was wonderful -- friendly, helpful, knowledgable.
The breakfast was great -- multiple options, fresh fruit, yogurt and the Italian favorites like cornetti.
The location was perfect. The staff recommmended great restaurants.
And, when we woke up to rain one morning they offered us an array or umbrellas.
Nothing! However some guests with mobility issues might be put off by the stairs, although there is an elevator..

Dell'accoglienza tutto perfetto. Camera spaziosa, pulizia eccellente. Prodotti in bagno ottimi e plastic free. Materasso e cuscini comodissimi. Frigo bar silenzioso. Kettel con caffè solubile e tisane ma la macchina per l'espresso in camera sarebbe il top. Colazione a buffet e alla carta molto buoni. Zona centralissima e pedolane con locali per tutti i gusti. Consigli dello staff degni di nota. Stefania squisita. Grazie di tutto!

The location is right in the old town, close to all interesting points and there are a lot of restaurants. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very kind. When the room is a bit small for 3 persons, it is very clean and well equipped.
It would be nice to have an iron.

This is a fabulous hotel!! We took a short taxi ride from the train station because we were hot and tired, but when we left it was a straightforward 15-minute-walk back to the station. The staff were lovely, and so helpful! The breakfast was exceptional....freshly squeezed orange juice, bacon and eggs made to order, and yummy fruit salad, as well as other wonderful items on offer. The hotel is on a pedestrian street, and is in an ideal location for exploring the beautiful city of Brescia. We highly recommend this hotel!!

My second stay in this little gem: loved the room "Desiderata" on the 4th floor with view, good breakfast, very kind owners. Location in the heart of Brescia's old town.
Elevator is very slow, taxis cannot bring you directly to the hotel, but leave you very close by.

Staying at Locanda delle Mercanzie is akin to a rejuvenating sojourn with your favorite aunt. Lidia and Stefania are phenomenal hosts: warm and welcoming, thoughtful and respectful - they were an absolute joy. Locanda is centrally located with the best of Brescia at its doorstep. I loved my room. It was quiet, very thoughtfully designed and extremely well-equipped with a peaceful view. The breakfast was delicious. I regret not staying longer - next time!

We arrived late in the evening and our key was waiting for us on a table in the lobby as the hotel wasn't staffed after a certain point in the day. We made our way into the elevator to our room (or you could take the stairs!). Elevator was big enough for two people and two bags. Room was tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was comfy and linens were soft. Pillows were squishy and good. The bathroom was large and clean. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was personable with the front desk lady hosting. Breakfast room was cute and cozy. Great communication with the hostess prior to check-in.
Our room faced the street and was loud towards the afternoon and late evening. The lobby was dark when checking in so that was kind of unwelcoming. It was warm in the room and they shut off the air conditioning once it's autumn so that was frustrating as it was still warm weather in early autumn; we left the window open to get fresh cool air in, but was still noisy and hard to sleep.
