The building and grounds are back in great shape, awaiting your visit. The pool and cabanas have all been reconstructed and the result is beautiful. This unit is in a condominium complex. Use of common amenities is permitted for guests and controlled by the association. Enjoy the unique tropical beauty of the Florida Keys from this end-unit condo. From the private balcony you will see breathtaking sunrises & sunsets. Scan the horizon across the turquoise sea for sailing and fishing vessels, sea birds and dolphins. Spend the day beneath the swaying palms at the oceanfront heated pool or sandy beachfront. Max occupancy 4 Licensed by the Village Of Islamorada #24-0380 Enjoy the complimentary use of our Abaco 135 tandem 13' kayak during your stay. It's perfect for light tackle fishing or exploring one of the nearby mangrove islands. * Kayak seats/ backs are not provided. the kayak can be used without them, but seat backs are strongly recommended. Bring your own kayak seat backs for the best experience. Grab your fly-rod and fish the flats from our private beach. These are the very same flats frequented by Lefty Kreh, Mark Sosin, Jose Wejebe and Flip Pallot and are world renowned for bonefish, tarpon and permit fishing. Your stay will be very comfortable in this Tropically decorated amenity filled condo with a private bedroom, complete with cable TVCR with views of the ocean and bay. It converts to two bedrooms via a retractable wall in the living room. This accommodates two adults and also has a DVD player and offers views of the ocean from the sliding glass doors. In addition to the private bedroom (king bed) it also has two semi private captain's bunks that are just right for kids and teens. It has a fully appointed Caribbean decorated kitchen , and dining area, and all the other conveniences to make you feel right at home on your tropical vacation. Coin-op W/D located next to the elevator. The concept of 'Just bring your toothbrush' definitely applies here. Every convenience you could possibly want is here including a frosty central A/C system, and an elevator. For your entertainment there are two TVs & books. Smoking is prohibited inside the unit. Payment can be made via credit card directly through VRBO. Conveniently located at 200 Wrenn St. on the ocean opposite Coral Shores HS athletic facility. Wi Fi is available privately in the condo and publicly in by the pool. Great property, adorable condo. Wonderful pool, beach ain friendly community. The only real downside was work on back patio from last hurricane. Woke us up 7ish on weekdays but will be done soon. Overall we loved it 🎉💜

The property is AWESOME! Very clean and well maintained! The first 2 statements are about the Sea Gulls Complex! Construction going on outside the condo side we stayed on. Our balcony couldn't be used-at all! Not even safe to open the slider to step out!

Everything was perfect!! View us beautiful! Yes, you can see the football field but a lot of the ocean too!! The property is so peaceful and gorgeous. The residents are just lovely. Everyone was so kind! The condo is decorated beautifully. Its a little bit of a walk to elevator but not that bad at all. The bed was by far the most comfortable bed I've ever had at a VRBO. The kitchen was perfectly stocked. I wish every kitchen was supplied like theirs. We do a lot of cooking and it very important to us. Islamorada is our favorite place to stay in the Keys! Now this condo is too! Will definitely stay again!!

The property at this price point is pretty good. However there’s still major repairs being done to the balconies and that left us uneasy about sitting on it. Otherwise the pool and grounds are well kept. This unit is on the far side of the elevators and could be difficult to access for people with disabilities (I am disabled) and concerning the high school that “backs up to the propert” it’s more like next door and not back door with a very clear view of the football field. That wasn’t a problem for us as we have 4 children and 7 grandchildren that all were into sports I played 10 years coached 15 years and now I get to be grandpa and sit in the stand’s LOL so if you’re good with the cons like I said at the price it’s fine. I’d probably come back if I’m down there again. OH AND DID I MENTION THE SUNRISE!!!!! Beautiful from the balcony

WARNING - AUGUST 2023 - CONSTRUCTION IS STILL GOING ON at the ENTIRE COMPLEX. And will be for probably several months. The complex is shoring up every balcony on every floor. This unit is on the 6th floor. 12 units on each floor. The noise between 8am and 5pm during the week makes sitting outside unbearable. This was not disclosed until 3 days before arrival - which is 57 days past being able to cancel! Place was not not clean. Sleeps 2 adults plus 2 kids? ha ha ha - if you want your kids sleeping in a converted closet on narrow bunk beds. won't be back.

The listing shows half the view, the other half is a football field. Also there were no carts available when we arrived and we had to schlep all our stuff and groceries the entire length of the building. The pool was great though and clean and a nice temperature and made the schlepping worth it.

Came down to scuba dive. property is behind a school on opposite sides of athletic field which kept school noise to minimal levels. close to our scuba shop (Conch Republic), several restaurants, Winn-Dixie and CVS. 9 foot deep swimming pool! Kayaks, mini-island to visit close in the bay. two glitches: our property owner had an error in our email and we had to do several last minute texts/emails to get in to the property. unit was out of extra toilet paper which we had to buy. very reasonable price, would rent in again for sure.

Excellent location.
We stayed 14 days in this one bedroom one bath unit on the top and at the end on the sixth floor. Some construction on the last few days of our stay.
Lots of steps to elevator, quiet and well run condo with all the pots and pans you will need. Clean and in good repair although dated.
Comfy bed, plenty of towels.

The mangroves are fun in the kayak and one couple said they saw a manatee.
Thanks for the stay we had fun and relaxed. The hurricane missed this location.

We spent a week in Lou's condo and really enjoyed it. The layout of a 1 bedroom was very spacious. There are many upgrades happening at the facility, including the pool, so we weren't able to use that. But the Gym and game room were fantastic. The kayaking right off the beach was easy with a ramp and steps available and a great little island easy enough to get too. We really didn't have any laundry, but the laundry uses coins only and no coin machine, so be aware of that. The check in process is a little funky due to the property management. Make sure you get paperwork from Lou and from property management ahead of time. Other than that, key fobs and digital locks made coming and going easy.

Husband and I wanted to visit the Keys for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. Just a note however, we were there the last week of July (Sat to Fri) 2022 and one of the reasons we booked this condo was for the pool because we knew we wanted to spend some of our time exploring, but then wanted to also 'relax by the pool'. This is absolutely no fault of the condo owner, Capt. Lou, he was great to communicate with (via email), but the day before we were set to arrive we were informed the pool needed emergency repairs and was not in use. He was told by the association it would be 'ready' by Tuesday during our visit. I can tell you, no one even worked on the pool until just before we were leaving. Can't say if the pool is ready now, but it was not while we were there...that was our only disappointment. Again, that was out of the owner's control. He recommended Founder's Park, which I also recommend, as it was a great little place to experience an Olympic sized pool as well as a small beach area. The condo itself was great for the 2 of us, had all the amenities we could need. Check in was easy, as someone else noted make sure you fill out the form and get it to the condo association prior to your stay...will make it a lot easier. We did visit Key West which was great, was about a 2hr drive...so not bad at all. Great vacation overall, again our only disappointment was the pool. Anything we needed was well within traveling distance.

Had a great time, great views of the ocean. Not your Fault but not having pool on prem a little disappointing. Thanks for your offer to Founders Park pool. We are planning to come back about this same time next year. Ask Lori to marry me and she said yes!!! This will be a special place to us.

Islamorada for fun
I enjoyed my stay in Islamorada and I was very pleased with my rental. The unit was cozy and clean, and it was fully equipped. The location is behind the high school, so it’s a little out of the way. The facility also has many people who live their full time, so the combination makes it a quiet place. That is good if you are older, but it is probably not a good place for young revelers and partiers. The unit is perfect for 1-2 people but would be crowded with more people. Everything in the unit works well too. All communication was seamless, and the owner was polite. I will definitely rent again

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is a cute little condo and the complex has everything you would need! Highly recommended for the price and will pass this along to friends and family!

The community pool is heated perfectly and it was like my kind of paradise. I love to swim. My husband hardly ever gets in a pool. But he was in every day, so I knew he loved it too. Only down side was The condo was very well stocked with towels etc., but you have to wash any extra towels you use except for the ones you used the morning you leave. Otherwise we would have been charged $25.00. The unit doesn’t have a washer & dryer. Not a plus when on vacation. Otherwise it was great!

We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was cute, with a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. It's a lovely property and we enjoyed chilling on the sandy shoreline, using the kayak and the heated pool (for chilly evenings). The only issue we had was at check-in and I wanted to mention this to help future renters have a better experience. The owner specifically likes to communicate via email, not the VRBO chat. I did not realize this and sent him an important message on the VRBO chat that he never received. This brought us to our 9PM check-in without the information we needed to get into the unit. The owner's reception was spotty and we weren't able to get in touch with him for over an hour (property management was no help since it was a weekend and the person I talked to never called back). So make sure you get your check-in codes well in advance so you don't have the same trouble. Also, there's a Rental Procedure form you are supposed to fill out and submit to property management, because they are the ones who get you the wristbands, and fob for pool access and other amenities. The form was sent to me the day before and I submitted it after work (a Friday evening). It says it's supposed to be submitted a week ahead of time and because Property Management wasn't there on the weekend we didn't get our fob until Monday. This would have really sucked if we were only there for the weekend (instead of 7 days). I recommend asking the owner for that digital form a week in advance.

Husband and I enjoyed our stay! Easy check in wonderful condo! Class to restraunts and grocery stores. The condo was perfect, had all you need to cook if you didn't want to cook. The bed was amazing comfortable! Love to come back.
