This adorable spacious studio unit can be your special little quiet piece of paradise. Relax and watch the sunset from the Kamaole beach park II, a short walk across the street. Enjoy your own beautifully landscaped private ground floor lanai, and listen to the hawaiian doves in the morning. Do your own barbeque in the evening, and refresh in one of the two pools after a challenging game of tennis. Wonderful restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance. Kihei Akahi condominium is beautifully landscaped. Our condominium will sleep two to four people. It is decorated Hawaiian style to bring the islands inside with you. Kihei has the best weather of the islands, gentle tropical breezes, an occasional spritz of rain, and the ever so sweet aroma of tropical flowers. Fantastic new kitchen. The owner, Leilani Gray, was born in Honolulu and lives in Calistoga, California, where she owns the Trailside Inn Bed and Breakfast. She knows the special calling that the islands have, and wants to share that wonderful feeling with you. Once you have been there you will always want to return. We were not disappointed with our stay! Very convenient location, close to several restaurants. Everything was exactly as described., Loved that it was only a 3 minute walk to the beach! No, it wasn’t a fancy place, but it was very comfortable, and very sufficient for our needs. The only thing that would have made it better, is if the washer and dryer would have been in working order. (Lani was very gracious and called someone, but it couldn’t be repaired while we were there.) We highly recommend this budget unit for a vacation in paradise!

Love this location and the owner was easy to communicate with. This property would be perfect for a couple. Had all the outdoor chairs and umbrellas a person could need. The pullout couch is updated and comfy to sleep on. I would stay here again.

Cute little one bedroom with the option of the couch pullout to fit 2 more guests. Nice bathroom with the shower/ toilet separated from the sink/mirror. Perfect for multiple people getting ready. The kitchen was nice but with food places within walkable distance, the fridge mostly served as storage for our yummy left overs and the freezer to keep our drinks cold! In unit washer/dryer was great for when packing up worn beach clothes for the flight back. Check in was easy. Just follow the emailed instructions and you won’t have a problem. Being able to walk from our front door to the beach in a matter of minutes was a great way to catch every sunset! Had a great time in this little getaway spot:-)

Lani is amazing to deal with. Great communication, easy check-in, the condo had everything I needed (except I couldn’t locate the hair dryer).
The screen door is off its track, but no big deal, just letting Lani know! LOVED my stay and will be back ASAP!

My husband and I thought this unit as perfect for the two of us! It had all we needed. Came with a few extras that came in handy too. The grounds were very lovely and the staff on site were friendly and courteous and helpful with Aloha - a smile that started our day. We will be staying here again when we return for sure - location was great for night time entertainment, food, and wonderful walks on the beach.

This property is on beautifully maintained grounds with two swimming pools, and walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and stores. I highly recommend this studio apartment, which was very comfortable for the two of us.
Both the host and the on island connection were very supportive the entire trip.

Lovely place with great little amenities.
Only negative we experienced was that one of the pillow cases was blood stained (and maybe just went unnoticed).
Do yourself a favor and book this place!

I can’t say enough good things about this property owner or her condo. Lani is so prompt in responding to my emails and so good to do business with. Her condo is perfect for our needs. We all know there are bigger, newer, and more expensive condos out there if you want. In our case we have to be conservative and for that Lani’s condo is perfect. It has a great location, it is clean and functional and is close to the beach. What more can you ask? It’s the best value out there! We have already booked for next year and can’t wait to go back!

This is our second time staying here and we loved it again. Everything is clean and organized and there was even a new couch. It’s an easy process to check in and all your beach needs are provided. You can’t beat the location. You’re a two minute walk from the beach and there are lots of great restaurants near by. This was also a good location if you like to snorkel. Cannot recommend this place enough.

We had a lot of issues with our travel, due to the winter storm and Leilani was great at communicating and accommodating us for our stay. I really appreciated it and hope to book again in the future.

We loved staying here! It was perfect for the two of us on our anniversary trip. Very short walk across the street to the beach, central location for other areas of the island. The condo had everything we needed. We loved that beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, and coolers were available for use. Used them daily. Also convenient to have washer and dryer in unit. Very reasonable price for a nice stay, and we will stay here again if we return to visit Maui. :)

Place was perfect for one persin or couple, that wants a place to stay across from beach. The owners are amazing, helpful, and friendly, the property manager is fabulous as well, has washer and dryer, beach equipment and a short walk across to the beach, Highly recommend,

We really enjoyed our stay!
We enjoyed our stay. The location and amenities were excellent, it was nice to have coolers, beach chairs, etc. all available to use. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet, and having a washer and dryer to use was a great help. We hope to return to Maui and would stay here again if it’s available. It was perfect for us.

Worth it, but definitely 3star accomodations
Nice very tiny space. Basic accomodations met, but definitely lacking finer touches. Central fan in-op, kitchen sink so loose that it almost came off, bathroom inl need of serious TLC...paint, loose toilet seat and the shower rod rusting away. The furnishings work, but the couch smelled... Way old.
All said though, you get what you pay for, and the location was great.

Grandaughters first time
Ive been to kihei 3 other times but this was my grabdaughters first time. Perfect location.
View of parking lot was let down because i live to sit ourside and relax on lenai. But we had a great week.

Excellent Accomidations
The property was excellent, well maintained, clean and the location was perfect. Many good restaurants were within walking distance and to be located literally across the street from the beach made our stay special.

Maui Perfection
From the moment we arrived this studio became "our place". We walked each night across the street (a super easy walk) and watched the sunset. We spent 12 days here and have zero complaints! Boogie boards, coolers beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels - ready and waiting. Washer, dryer, kitchen - all awesome. This is not a perfect, brand new, condo. It is a perfectly clean, slightly loved condo. The bed is comfortable, the linens are clean and ready, the place smells good. Don't miss your chance to stay!

Loved the Lani’s condo. It was perfect for a couple. Well stocked with equipment, dishes and linens. We appreciated the washer and dryer as it made it very convenient. Easy short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Recommend!

Amazing getaway!
We found the condo to be everything we needed for a sunny, relaxing getaway for spring break! Lani is easy to communicate with and very accommodating. All the special touches in the condo made our stay better than we expected. Kihei is truly paradise for us and Lani’s condo has made it possible for us to enjoy it! Overall good but had a few issues
Really awesome location, phenomenal pricing. Within walking distance of restaurants, food trucks, beach, ice cream. Property advertised as equipped with AC and washing machine/dryer- neither worked and the tub didn't drain. Very little urgency from the Property manager to fix the issues (most of which they already knew about but hadn't repaired yet).
Lots of clean linens, boogie boards, beach chairs, and coolers which made our stay even more convenient. Overall I'd stay here again but I'd want to know the problems had been fixed.

Great location on the ground floor protected from the sun for most of the day so we never turned on the AC. It is right ibn front of Kamole Beach park 2 which enabled us to walk along the beach all the way to Wailea 3.5 miles away! The room had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the beach. It was clean and quiet.

Excellent location with a place that has everything you need
The stay here was great. The place is stocked with beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards - saving you the hassle of renting. Being located right across the beach makes this an ideal place to stay.
Check in process could have been a bit smoother, as the unit number was not listed in any of the correspondences. However, the property manager was very responsive and helped clear up the confusion before it became an inconvenience.
All in all, a lovely place to stay.
