About this house rental
Situated in Whidbey Island, this charming house for £393 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Right on Sunlight beach. This large home has it all! Comfortable, waterfront location with unobstructed views of the water, Mt Rainier, Seattle and the Olympic Mountains. Deck right off the main living area. Enjoy magnificent sunsets, birds, water and mountains. Grab your favorite book or beverage, watch nature’s show of bald eagles, great blue herons, and egrets. You'll become mesmerized by the tide working its way in or out. There’s absolutely nothing like beach front and our guests love to explore the beach! During low tide you can stroll and at high tide, the options for water sports are endless...kayaking and paddle boards (we provide 2/4 Kayaks) and swimming. The open concept main floor has Pottery Barn furniture. There is a sitting room off the kitchen, a dining room, a powder room and a media room which has a large sectional sofa, 70" TV for Netflix, and an over sized reclining leather chair. We provide wifi for you to stream your favorite shows. There is no cable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need including an Air Fryer, Insta Pot, and Sous Vide for you to use. The master bedroom & bathroom is privately located on the upper level of the home. It is the only bedroom on the third floor. It features a king size bed. The daylight basement has a movie theater and reclining couches. Bedroom #1: includes a queen size bed and custom built in desk with a closet. Bedroom #2 & #3 each have two twin beds and a closet. Bedroom floor on the main floor we call the Kid Room. It is above the garage and has a slanted ceiling. Perfect for kids not adults. The house is about 3500 square feet, with 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, two family rooms on having a movie theater and an open floor plan all in a sunny, southern exposure. In order to serve small groups we have a lower rental rate and charge per bed fee over the minimum rate. Please be sure to put in the correct amount of people and beds that will be used. Our house is 90 minutes from Seattle including the spectacular (car) ferry ride. We are 12 minutes from the ferry and 12 minutes from Langley. Whidbey Island is a bucolic paradise that has many interesting shops, local, art galleries, antique stores, gardens, and great restaurants including the world class restaurant at the Inn at Langley. There’s hiking, golfing, horse back riding as well as bike, kayak and boat rentals; an abundance of activities for everyone. Don’t overlook the numerous State Parks and especially the old growth walk at South Whidbey State Park. There are many seasonal festivals and two Farmer’s Markets. (May- Oct) Check in is at 4 pm and check out is at 10 am, unless otherwise agreed upon with owner. We try very hard to get you an early check in and often do. We are in a very friendly beach community with neighbors close by, so if you are looking for a party spot this won't be a good option for you. Parking is limited to 3 cars at any time. Street parking is not available. There are outdoor cameras provided for safety. Cleaning fee is $400 for summer and holidays. Cleaner get all of it. Come, relax outside or inside. At night play games at the large kitchen table or watch a movie in the theater. Come to paradise, it is only a drive away!

We had a wonderful stay with our family here. The kitchen is very well stocked, the living/dining area is comfortable and the views are magnificent. Our family enjoys playing music together and the basement room was perfect. I would happily come back and do it all over again!

This home was perfect for our group of 8 adults. We had plenty of space to gather comfortably. The location on Useless Bay is beautiful and we enjoyed the fire pit as we watched the bay activity. The location is also convenient to a grocery store. Thank you for sharing your lovely home😊

Some of our extended family stayed at this home during a visit to Whidbey Island for a cousin's wedding. The house was charming and as described. The view of the bay is absolutely stunning. We took out the kayaks on a lovely paddle (although, it's worth it to mention that kayaks are not really an option until early afternoon and the tide comes back in!)

The property was great and the owner was very flexible and responsive. The VRBO log in process to communicate with owner was not great however direct communication worked far better with the owner. Also vrbo sent unsolicited advertisements for services not asked for.

We had 11 people at the home. The house was more than we expected. The adults and kids loved our stay. The Useless Bay is amazing especially of you have children we could walk out quite a distance during low tide and even when the tide was in the water was still maybe 4 feet. Just perfect. Family loved the availability of the kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely look to revisit this one. Thank You - The Ramos Family

The homeowner is very accommodating and easy to work with. My kids and friends had the most incredible stay. Kayaking, swimming, fires, walks, sunsets, sunrises, it was just a magical experience we will always remember. A great way to celebrate the end of the school year! I highly recommend this as your next vacation spot!

The house was really clean and tidy and the views are just incredible. Just a few short steps to Useless Bay. There was a super low tide and we were able to walk a long way out on the mudflats and saw hundreds of sand dollars. When the tide came back in, my husband took out a kayak and had fun interacting with a seal!! We can highly recommend.

Communication with the host was friendly, helpful, prompt, and unobtrusive. The place was clean and well-stocked. The location is breathtaking. Right on the waterfront, where you can watch the tide come in almost to the house and recede back for miles to expose gorgeous vast expanses of fine sand and marine life. We all had a blast!

Only downside would be the steeps-into the house, once inside to the 3rd floor and master bedroom, and, to the lower level with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and theater room.

Fabulous beach house!
The perfect beach house for large groups/families. Lovely, private beach-front and owner provides kayaks. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained, wonderful rural landscape. We will be back!!

A beach gem
Spent 4 days with the wife and our so, daughter with her 2 grandkids. Hose is well equipped and has something for everyone. Beach access and view were great. Grandkids had a blast exploring and we enjoyed the big screen theater at the end of the day. Hosts were helpful in assisting with some changes. Will go again!

Perfect Get Away
The house was perfect! The kitchen was very well stocked and the house was spotless. At one point we had 6 people staying at the house and there was plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed the movie theater! And the view was spectacular! And the homeowners were really quick to respond to our questions. Overall, it was a perfect vacation and we hope to rent it again soon.

Multigenerational vacation
Took my 20 year old and 24 year old kids, along with my 82 year old mother on a last hurrah vacation. Kids are getting older and moving on with their lives and mom's health is declining.
We had a wonderful time! The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. After the sun went down, everyone had their own space to retreat to or we gathered for movies and popcorn in the theater room.
Wouldn't hesitate to come back again!

Great house for a family getaway. Plenty of bed and baths. Three large areas for people to gather, our cavity was the kitchen, living and dining area with a lovely view of the water. Property was clean, well stocked and owner very prompt with her replies.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this gorgeous house. Nothing beats this lovely view. The kitchen has every gadget a home chef could want (instant pot, air fryer, etc). We've already booked our next trip - love this house!!
