About this cottage rental
Stanley View Cottage is a fully equipped newly renovated executive style cottage situated on 5 acres of prime cottage country in Stanley Bridge (319 Douglas Road). We are located 5 minutes(drive)from Cavendish , 20 minutes from Summerside and 40 minutes from Charlottetown- including the Charlottetown Airport. Our property provides access to 800 feet of shoreline on the beautiful and popular Stanley river. Sit back and relax on our new deck and enjoy the wide open view of the river or walk down to the dock and jump in for a swim. (life jackets provided). Kayaks may be available to loan on request. We provide the perfect place for your fun filled family vacation or a quite retreat. There are 3 spacious bedrooms(with amazing window views) and 2 full baths, open concept kitchen/dining room/ living room and a laundry room at the back entry. The double car garage has been popular for barbequing and for those who like to cook their own seafood there is a mussel pot/seafood cooker in the garage. Fresh seafood is available minutes away at the Stanley Bridge wharf. We provide indoor and outdoor games to keep you entertained. We have rented this cottage for the past 20 years and have had great response from renters. Many have fallen in love with the property and now have their own cottages in the area. Keywords: Cottage

What a wonderful place to stay! This property has an amazing view and was all that we wished it to be. Centrally located in the northern part of the island, we had easy access to lobster suppers, shellfish farms, ceilidhs and much more. The home was filled with all of the items we needed for our visit and our hosts were very welcoming. They went above and beyond! We hope to be able to get back some day soon and stay here again.

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. We had absolutely everything we needed, beautiful view included. The ideal location in the centre of the island and close to many shops and activities, we would definitely choose this property again. The location is very private and the spacious docks and cute little beach were a huge bonus. Thanks so much for a great week!

The pictures do not do this summer house justice. Comfortable, well equipped kitchen and a deck with great views. Centrally located. The eagles will welcome you as well. Thank you for making our trip to PEI such an enjoyable one.

The cottage was just perfect, a good size for our family of 6, with excellent amenities and a spectacular view. It really is the nicest PEI place I’ve stayed in, and I’ve stayed in many good ones over the years. The location was great, close to our favorite activities in Darnley, Summerside, Cavendish, North Rustico and Charlottetown. A double rainbow was an enchanting end to our week. It really was a special place!

Quiet, relaxing and beautiful view! We truly appreciated the cleanliness, the well stocked kitchen, and furnished bedrooms. Every morning was spent sipping a coffee on the covered deck, enjoying the warm sun, and all the while watching the local Eagle searching for his breakfast 😜 The evenings incuded a little glass of wine, a fire, and friendly ping pong game... The days were spent relaxing, reading on the deck, or going for day adventures. The cottage is well situated and close too many outings, beaches, bike trails. We have traveled to the Island many times, and stayed in Stanley Bridge more than once, at various cottages. We would consider this one amongst our favorites!!!

Awesome Vacation Property and Location
This is a first class property with all the amenities one could hope for. The owners were very friendly and helpful in every way. Everything else being equal,we would look forward to returning next year. The views from the deck were outstanding and our young granddaughter s thoroughly enjoyed their stay especially the swings, swimming in the river and the camp fires with marshmallows in the evening. Wonderful cottage experience
Everything about this cottage rental exceeded our expectations. The cottage is beautifully situated with a stunning view of the Stanley River. The cottage itself is very clean, comfortable and well outfitted with everything you could possibly want for a relaxing vacation. The owners were very responsive to communications and provided us with a number of necessities as well as a generous welcoming gift of treats. We found the cottage to be very roomy for two couples. Truly, the photographs of the cottage and view can not do it justice. We also found the location of the property very convenient for touring the whole of Prince Edward Island. We would not hesitate to book this cottage again or to recommend it to family and friends.

We had a wonderful week stay and I just can’t say enough about how great this cottage was.
We had a week of lovely beach weather but had we not, we would have been happy as clams to just relax here and enjoy the view.
Cottage was wonderful - to quote my 11 year old girls when they first saw it: “our new home is so cute! We don’t want to leave”.
We flew kites, canoed, cooked lobster, watched the Eagles and Blue Jays. Cottage was a short drive to Charlottetown and even shorter drive to Cavendish and Anne of Green Gables.
Bernadette was a wonderful host and very communicative.
We will be back!

Our vacation at the Campbell’s
The cottage was nicer than we expected. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for my family of 4. There was a well stocked kitchen and a beautiful view. They had bikes and a canoe, a pedal boat and a kayak for us to use. They had two TV’S and one was an Apple TV. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for being such a great Hostess!!

Great place for a family
We enjoyed our stay is this well equipped house. We cooked lots of seafood on their burner. Found this location perfect for our family of 5. Kayak, huge yard, lots of board games. Would highly recommend. Nice welcome from owners too.

The Perfect Cottage in the most magical place
This was a wonderful little cottage that is equipped with everything you need to have an amazing stay at PEI. This cottage is in the perfect location with a gorgeous view. We arrived to a very clean cottage which had everything we need even treats. We were just minutes from Cavendish and the Green Gables House along with some wonderful beaches. North Rustico is a lovely little fishing village with an amazing restaurant called Blue Mussel Cafe that we just loved. The cottage is located on a quite lovely country road, but still only about 30 minutes from Charlottestown. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the peddle boat. My children enjoyed swimming off the dock and playing in the garage that had so many fun games. The adults in the house loved having a glass of wine on the deck each evening. This was the best vacation our family has ever taken.

The property was everything and more than the description on VRBO.
From the moment of our arrival we felt totally at home. The owner had made us feel very welcome with the flowers, wine, etc. The home had everything you could ask for and the view from the deck was fantastic and relaxing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and will surely return again

Wonderful relaxing holiday in a beautiful home!
Sorry for our tardiness leaving a review. We spent a relaxing week in this beautifully maintained and spotlessly neat home with our two sons. Great communication with Bernadette (had to change our week due to work commitments with no difficulty). Home is located down a quiet road on a beautifully manicured, private waterfront lot. Great place for a morning or evening stroll. Wonderful welcome snacks (incl. homemade cookies and wine!) provided by the owners. Everything you need is provided, incl. washer/dryer. A short drive from Cavendish Beach (park permit provided by the owners). The attention to detail, incl. a cute welcome sign, was greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Campbell family!!

Amazing!
This cottage is fantastic! The owners are amazingly helpful and the place is amazingly clean. There was everything that you could possibly need: beach towels, toys, chairs, play pens, toys, storybooks for kids, all cooking utensils and pots! Treats were left by the owner and they were specific to our dietary needs. We can not say enough good things about this place! This is our first time with vrbo and the standard has been set very high!

Beyond Expectations!!!
Not knowing what to expect we packed everything necessary to ensure our week would be without wanting. What an absolutely wonderful experience when we arrived and found everything necessary AND MORE waiting for us. From refreshments to treats, utter cleanliness, a fully equipped kitchen, an excellent BBQ with added accessories for cooking shellfish, fabulous deck and deck furniture, bedrooms perfectly laid out and spotless bathroom (with wonderful soaps that the girls loved).
From the grounds being fully manicured to the postcard views along the Stanley River we found ourselves immersed in a week that was very much beyond our expectations.
Thank you Bernadette, Andrew and Mary and we look forward to being with you again next year.

Loving Stanley View Cottage
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay at Stanley View Cottage more and the view of Stanley River from the deck is beautiful. The deck adds a nice dimension to the cottage as a totally private place to relax and dine outside. The owners don't miss a detail when making the stay enjoyable for anyone who rents their cottage. It was immaculate, equipped with absolutely everything needed for preparing meals, great linens and appreciated extras such as treats waiting when you arrive and the use of the Parks pass.
We hope to return to PEI for another holiday in the future and hope that this cottage is still available at that time.

Spectacular!!!
This cottage and the amenities were more than we could have imagined. Bernadette thought of everything and more, including a lovely gift basket full of delicious goodies. We had so much fun kayaking and taking in the spectacular water views. The cottage is so handy to Cavendish and to Kensington where we enjoyed shopping and several attractions. Also the quaint shops and restaurants in Stanley Bridge were just lovely. Overall it was so relaxing and just beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this cottage rental to others. Thank you!

Amazing and relaxing vacation
My husband and I were completely impressed with this cottage rental. The accommodations were more that we imagined. The owners thought about everything. This cottage is extremely well maintained and very clean. We would recommend this to anyone that will be traveling to PEI and hope to rent this same cottage again next year.

Perfect vacation
We spent last week staying at the Stanley Bridge Cottage and loved everything about it. The cottage is immaculately clean and comfortable and has every amenity needed, including a washer and dryer and dishwasher. The view of the water is fantastic. Having access to the kayaks, canoes, and bikes was wonderful. They also provide a pass to a national park that we used almost every day. When we arrived there was a basket of goodies waiting for us and a stack of brochures about PEI and lists of things to do in the area with recommendations for local restaurants, etc. If you go don't miss visiting The Dunes, a great gift shop, restaurant, and fantastic gardens.
Bernadette was very friendly and was very accommodating as well. We will definitely try to go back in the future.
