Not suitable for young children ( older children are welcome). 1770 Horizons is privately nestled amongst tropical palms overlooking the enchanting 1770 Bay, the perfect location to unwind with wine in hand whilst taking in the stunning overwater sunsets. Ideally located amongst the original settlement in Seventeen Seventy township boasting spectacular views all with a stones throw to 1770's calm water's edge for safe swimming whilst also being the gateway to Great Barrier Reef day trips from the 1770 marina. Features Sleeping 4 - 2 king beds All linen supplied for your comfort. The main bedroom is up stairs & the 2nd bedroom downstairs with a central living area. Living area is air-conditioned & filters through to main bedroom plus ceiling fans & second downstairs bedroom also air conditioned & provides fans. A Modern two bedroom cottage designed tastefully and supplying everything to ensure your delightful & comfortable stay including a welcome gift for arrival. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms & one bathroom providing privacy, light and space The Air-conditioned fully self-contained spacious open plan kitchen including dishwasher, microwave & full size fridge/freezer provides all utensils to cook up a storm & the comfortable lounge area provides lounges, Tv with Dvd player in one & dining area. This delightful room then flows out to the spacious entertaining deck ready for a romantic dinner or BBQ amongst the stars. This property provides a fenced yard for the family dog to enjoy a holiday too. Permission can be granted for small/medium behaved pets to reside in some areas inside with supervision (strict regulations apply so please ask & obtain a pet permission form) - Strictly 1 dog allowed. Carport parking & laundry facilities provided Please note - cats are not permitted in this property. * Linen Provided - please just bring your beach towels *

Very quiet. Perfect inside and out for the two of us. Short walk to beach and dining

Lovely property, however it has lots of stairs due to the elevated positioning to get a good view. Driveway is very very steep and care needs to be taken when driving up and/or reversing down. We took a boat and the boat had to stay on the street due to the steepness of driveway. Facilities were lovely and plenty of inclusions in the kitchen. A few more handrails would be nice on the laundry stairs.

Excellent property in a quiet and convenient location with great views. Obviously well looked after to high standard. The only things if I was being picky would be the stairs, with three levels inside the house makes it a bit tedious, and also the steep driveway which probably won't bother those in a 4x4/SUV but certainly not for anything sedan or sports-like.

Everything you need for a very pleasant stay. Agree, driveway is a little steep, but we did not have any issues. Would definitely recommend. Good value for money. Thank you!

We loved being able to take our fur babies with us and walk down to the beautiful park and beachfront area. The home was well set up with everything being thought of by the owners.

The walk up the hill from the pub hurts but we were all up there in age, so rough with the smooth really. Loved the house and the leasing process was painless.

Lovely cottage in a lovely location
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely stay at 1770 Horizons. The cottage is well equipped with a well stocked kitchen and laundry. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the large deck due to the inclement weather. The complimentary snacks and wine were greatly appreciated. It would have been handy to have instructions for the oven and the driveway was too steep for our car to get up but overall a delightful stay.

Relaxing Spot
1770 is such the perfect spot for unwinding and relaxing. Horizon’s holiday house is a great place to stay. The mezzanine bedroom is awesome and so relaxing!
The drive to the house is extremely steep though and the decking isn’t completely fenced if you’re taking your dog.

Spacious home with all the necessary bits and pieces to be self
sufficient.
Location is perfect (close to pub, resteraunt, marina and kayaks)
Value for money.

Green gardens with peeks of an amazing view
This little house was a wonderful green oasis. Convenient position to kayaking, marina, sunset views. Had everything we needed inside.

Great property
We loved the fact that the property was dog friendly (Thank you!). Overall the property was clean, only a bit dusty here and there however I reckon it was from not having been used recently (we went in winter). Very comfy bed and modern features. We will be back.

Mainly great in 1770
1770 Horizon is a lovely, compact house which is truly dog friendly in that your 'baby' is allowed inside the house as well. Built on a hillside, like so many houses in the area, it has a very steep driveway and the steps from the carport to house steps are flagstones and a bit of challenge for older people. There is no air con in the bedroom on the lowest level (three level house) which would be difficult to bear in very hot weather. The house is well furnished but really more suited to a couple than four adults. One of the gates to the secure back yard did not bolt securely and our dog 'escaped' before I had walked back to the carport to help with the unloading. More worryingly, the only time we left him alone for two hours he managed to squeeze between the end of the fence picket and the ground and jump over a metre to escape. Fortunately he visited a dog friendly house and the visitors there kept him til we returned. Just a little more attention to detail and it would be a great five star house!

Great place to relax
Beautiful unit with large deck overlooking tropical plants/water view.
It has been set up with really lovely attention to detail eg kitchen has basic cooking items for you to use (cooking oil, salt + pepper, glad wrap etc), there was a bottle of wine on the bench for us when we arrived and cold water in the fridge on a hot day.
