This lovely OCEAN BLOCK 3BR, 2BA condo sleeps eight comfortably and has a beautiful beachy feel with recent upgrades and renovations. A well-appointed kitchen, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and a lovely rear balcony are perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. Wind down after a long day at the beach in a clean and spacious primary bedroom with a king-size bed. The building has an elevator, and the condo is one level- a perfect unit for those who can't do steps. This is especially nice after driving all afternoon to start your vacation! LOCATION: This condo sits on the ocean block on Maryland Ave, just two short blocks from all the action on Rehoboth Ave. Take a trip to the "Nation's Summer Capital." Dine at our 5-star restaurants, shop at our unique downtown shops as well as at three Tanger Outlets (tax-free) conveniently located and approx. 2 miles on Rt. 1. You will be within walking distance to everything: local restaurants, bars, shopping, boutiques, Fun Land, Grotto's, and much more. Park the car and enjoy your week! PARKING Under the building, parking for one car (height restriction 6'4"), AMENITIES: Garage parking, Wi-Fi, and AC are supplied. THINGS TO KNOW: No pets and no smoking! Linens are not supplied. However, we offer a rental program to guests. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The condo was very spacious, clean and comfotable. The location was perfect. They only downside was the limitation of parking only one car on the property.

The property was on the older side, but it was clean. The kitchen appeared to be the most recent room to be remodeled. It would have been nice if the bathrooms were more up to date. We cooked several meals for 6 people, but there seemed to be a shortage of pots and pans to cook these meals efficiently. Our biggest concern was the poor performance of the 4 wall mounted air conditioning units. We made the property manager aware of the issue, and they indicated the ac contractor would not be able to check these units until the day before we were scheduled to depart. Unfortunately, the contractor never showed and we did not receive any updates from the property manager. I expressed my disappointment with the property manager when we checked out and they indicated they would follow up on the issue to see if the property owner would be willing to offer a discount. It has been a few days and I have yet to hear from them.

This condo is located really close to the beach and near shops, restaurants, and bars. It was super easy to get around. It was very clean and exactly as pictured. No problems at all!

Fantastic location, nice place!
Great stay located in the heart of rehobeth. Condo was well maintained. Only complaint is in the second bedroom with a king bed, the AC is unbelievably loud when it switches on. Woke me up many times. However, overall, clean, good communication, comfy place, fantastic location. Would consider staying at this rental again,

Overall a good experience. A bit frustrating that 2 out of the 4 ac units in the property did not work properly. It was HOT! Especially considering this issue was known prior to our arrival. They provided a small refund but I didn’t feel it was totally fair for the issue that existed. In addition there was confusion around a parking pass that was not indicated on the property listing but on arrival had a note on the fridge that there should have been one. And if it was missing we would be charged. It didn’t exist. A decent place but these items created some frustration.

Location, location, location
Perfect location for access to beach and town! Bathrooms need updating, but rest of condo was in great condition. We spent most of our time out at beach or in town so it wasn’t as important to our group. Beds were comfortable enough and kitchen was well stocked with appliances amd gadgets.

Damp, dark, aged, noisy
This unit was disappointing. We have stayed in this building before and previously liked our accommodations. However the previous unit was in the front of the building, big difference between front and back. This unit was damp, the air conditioning units in each room sound like a fog horn when they start up, it was dark and dated. Not as pictured. The porch or balcony which we previously thoroughly enjoyed in the front unit was not inviting in this unit. The porch or balcony in this unit contains a heat pump ( not pictured in the photos, shame on you Remax) approx. 5ft. X 5 ft., with two large fans, they are fairly noisy and generate heat when they run. We tried to play cards at the table on the porch but found it impossible. We experienced a windy, thunder storm while we were there and the master bedroom window made it sound like the storm was coming through the window; wind howling and dampness. When we called the office to report the problem, the maintenance guy said, “well this is an old building”. We will not being going back! One more annoyance was the dishwasher. Do not open the dishwasher door! You will be overcome with the smell of mold and mildew!

Wonderful week in great oceanblock condo!
Our family (2 children and spouses and 9 month old granddaughter) enjoyed being here together. Lovely decorated and fully equipped 3 br condo close to everything.

decent place; terrible experience
We have our own vrbo rental property, and speak from years of experience as renters and owners. This condo is nice and well located, but we would never rent here again. VRBO is meant for owners to save costs for themselves and the renters by cutting out management companies. This rental is done through Remax Rental Real Estate and is associated with extra booking fees!
In addition, there are additional charges for linens and a requirement that the renters make up their own beds and strip them down as they leave
The condo is nicely furnished, but there was no bath soap, no hand soap, no shampoo/conditioner, no dishwashing soap, no sponge, no kitchen towels, no paper towels, and not even a square of toilet paper in the entire condo!!! If you rent here, you will have a perfectly decent rental, but will need to purchase absolutely everything you need to have a comfortable stay. It is not worth the money

Amazing location!
Place is just as described. The parking permits are super helpful. The provided beach amenities are very nice. Cable tv wifi, all worked without any hiccups or extensive figuring out. The only thing we wish for is more supplies (trash bags) and kitchen stuff (there was no salt, we would have brought it if it had been mentioned like the sheets and towels).

Very Nice
The Tidewater Building was a very nice place to stay. It was clean and neat. It was very convenient being two blocks from downtown Rehoboth. Parking was tight, but doable. We had a very nice weekend.

Great location
This property is in a great location -- close to beach and great restaurants and shops. We did have an issue with the WIFI that was corrected. You do notice a slight musty smell when entering through the front door. The master bath was tub was either dirty from previous renters or stained. I tried to clean it with the bath room cleaner that was left under the sink, but it didn't come clean. We also had an issue with dogs barking incessantly in the unit below us on the third day of our stay. We called RE Max and left a message but it was after hours and no one returned our call. It was so obnoxious that we called the building manager but he just told us to knock on the door of that unit and let them know it was bothering us and there wasn't anything else he could do. Well, the dog owners weren't there. Our last option was to call the Rehoboth Police who did respond and thankfully the dog owners returned and kept the dogs quiet through the night. Just beware that even though this unit doesn't allow pets, others in the building do.

Close to everything! A few steps to the beach, shopping, restaurants and of course funland.
I found the condo well appointed and comfortable. I have been coming to the beach for a week with family for quite a few years, and have always found it necessary to bring certain things from home for the kitchen to make the stay more convenient. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything one might need, it's not necesssry to bring anything but food!! I was delighted to find the owners had thought of everything. I only had two suggestions...I brought ground coffees and there was a Keurig coffeemaker. The other is I asked about a washer and dryer and was told there was one. It was not located in the condo but downstairs in the laundry room and required quarters. Neither was an issue, but it would have been helpful to know. Aside from those two points, our family had a terrific vacation and one of the biggest reasons why was the great place we stayed. I will certainly try to come back next year once we get all of our schedules worked out. Thank you to the owners for sharing their wonderful home with us-Linda Muscatello

Ocean Block renovated 3br condo
this was our first time renting a place at the beach. we loved it. it was close to the beach and boardwalk. it was also close to shops and restaurants. we will definitely rent this condo again.

Very Nice Condo
Overall the place was very nice, close to the beach and board walk. One room had 2 single beds that I stayed unfortunately those beds were very uncomfortable. Other than that, I would definitely recommend.

Great location and a beautfully decorated condo.
We had a great stay at Rehoboth. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. We were very relaxed there. My only complaint was that it is too loud to sit out on the balcony due to the large fans from the air conditioning system. Tip for the owners: get some plastic kids' cups, bowls, plates, and silverware for guests to access. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice place but had some issues
My family enjoyed our week's stay in the 3 bedroom condo. Nice upgrades in the kitchen and rest of condo but the bathrooms were small and dated.
When we first entered the condo, there was a musty smell but I guess that's to be expected at the beach. A few scented candled and air freshener remedied that.
There were individual A/C units in each room and they were old an noisy. The building was one big monolithic block of concrete surrounded by beautiful classic Victorian beach homes so the building stuck out like a sore thumb. And the lobby and elevator were not air conditioned so even though we had mild temperatures, it was uncomfortable getting from the outside to the condo. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would've been if it was 95 degrees.
But, all in all, it was a nice place. Three spacious bedrooms. Updated appliances and TVs and WiFi. A little on the expensive @ $3,300/week but that's what you're going to pay at Rehoboth one block from the beach.
