The Homestead is a recently renovated, 2 storey, 4 bedroom house in the Historic Old Town district of Niagara-on-the-Lake. The house is located on a very nice street featuring a number of stately homes. The house is only a short 15 minute walk to the main street in Niagara-on-the-Lake (Queen Street). There are parks nearby with the closest winery in town about a 5 minute drive away. The Homestead is ideally suited for welcoming a large gathering of family or friends. The home features a lovely living space on the main floor with plenty of room to accommodate fun get togethers. Outside, there is a wrap around front porch and a large backyard for entertaining. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances and cookware. The house also features a large living room with gas fireplace, large screen HDTV and surround sound stereo system. There is a finished rec room in the basement with a full sized pool table. Adjacent to the rec room is a small den which provides additional space for relaxing and/or accommodating extra people for sleeping on a comfortable futon. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and have either king, queen or two twin beds. The grounds are well landscaped. Homestead exceeded our expectations. It worked very well for 6 women. The kitchen was well equipped although we only had breakfast. We had fun playing cards at night around the big round table in the dining room. All agreed the beds were comfy. The neighborhood is beautiful.

This was the perfect place for four couples who are longtime friends to gather and make memories. Beautiful home, great rooms that easily accommodated us all, and a handy location for all the area has to offer. Highly recommended!

It was a perfect setting for a family get together. Close to everything and very well equipped. We stayed in the fall so did not use the backyard. With such a lovely town so close and so much to do, I couldn’t imagine having the time.

This property was perfect for the gathering of 8 female friends to celebrate a milestone Bday and over 50yrs of friendship. We LOVED the round dining table, cozy couch with the big fireplace & the comfortable outside seating area.

Every year, my sisters and I (along with our husbands) get together for 4 days. This year, Niagara-on-the-Lake was the location. This house was PERFECT for us! Enough space to spread out, yet cozy enough to be comfortable. The pool table in the basement was a big hit - even though we're lousy pool players! The kitchen is stocked with pretty much everything you need to cook. It was a bit of a walk to downtown, but that just helped burn the calories from the wine. Would definitely recommend this house!

Lovely walk to the lake and Main Street. House was very nice and lounged by the pool to end our day. Played a little pool and bbq’d one meal, which made for a very relaxing trip. Winery’s everwhere!

My spouse and I and two other couples (all seniors) stayed at this welcoming property for 5 days while enjoying golf, biking, and theatre in NOL. The property suited us very well with two bedrooms with king beds and ensuites (one in the basement), and two other bedrooms that shared a bathroom. There was ample seating in the livingroom and diningroom and outdoors in a lovely backyard with a pool. The kitchen was well-equipped and a great space to prepare meals. Parking for three cars in the driveway was helpful. Some of us walked the considerable distance to the centre of town and some had to drive due to health issues, which may be a disadvantage to some, but worked for us. All in all a great find and one to which we hope to return.

We are a family with 2 grand parents, 4 grown up children and 3 grand children ages 5 to 8. There were plenty of space for all of us, very comfortable beds, an amazing yard, a heated pool, and according to my wife, the best equipped kitchen ever. There was a good playground for the kids down the street. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with. The property is beautiful, perfect experience, it felt like home.

We are a family of nine, with ages ranging from a one year-old to grandparents in their late 70s. About half the family live in Calgary and the another half live in the GTA. So we try to get together for a week in the summer. this year it was in NOL and the Homestead proved to be a perfect size for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful house with its private garden and pool. The younger ones made great use of the bicycles and we all enjoyed a game of pool quite regularly.

This home was perfect for our family! The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely! The kitchen was equipped with everything we have at home. The dining table was beautiful for sharing a meal together.
The outside area was amazing with a pool, Adirondack chairs and a table with an umbrella. Downstairs had a very nice pool table that we loved. We truly felt like we were home! It was so nice to walk into town and leave the car parked most of the time! The communication between Mr. Daly was always informative and quick. It was truly an incredible two weeks.

The rooms, beds, kitchen were very well appointed and comfortable. We were too early to use the pool but it looked lovely. Music not allowed on the deck at anytime, but we didn’t have time to utilize the outdoors anyway. Great walkable neighbourhood close to the cute town of NOTL. Be sure to see the sunset at the lake! Recommend highly.

Nice family vacation touring the Niagara area. House was roomy and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and 2 small children. We enjoyed walking downtown and exploring the unique shops. It was an easy drive for all of our exploring.

Great experience. Dan (Sheridan) was a superb host and easy to communicate with and very responsive. House is setup perfectly for two families to share. We had four adults four teens and house never felt crowded. Location is superb for relaxing, sight seeing the local town, wineries and Niagara Falls. House is amazing. My 4 daughters and their teenagers and I came for a girls weekend reunion and to take in a show at the Festival Theatre. The house was so warm and welcoming! The heat had been turned on and we were cozy from the start and throughout the weekend. The host spared no expense in the furnishings. The beds and linens were so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We all said we would like to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors and pool!

My book club (7 ladies over 50!) really enjoyed our time at The Homestead. On our way into town we stopped at a couple of vineyards and then parked the car for the rest of the stay and walked everywhere. Beautiful neighbourhood, lovely back yard for relaxing, and lots of space to spread out. Highly recommond.

We were a group of six mother's on a weekend getaway. The property owner was so helpful prior to our stay, sending along bike routes and winery suggestions.
The house itself was perfect for us! We each had our own bed to sleep in, with no thoughts of children potentially jumping in with us in the night! The pool was warm and amazing for taking a dip.
We enjoyed the pool table in the basement one night and we all fit on the massive couch the next night to watch movies.
The house was in walking/biking distance to restaurants and wineries.
We had a fabulous stay and would definitely go back!

Our group really enjoyed their stay at the Homestead. Lots of bathrooms and comfy beds. It was a nice easy walk to the historic centre and we loved being able to gather around the dining room table to chat and eat.

Enjoyed our stay at this Niagara on the lake home.. Handled seven adults comfortably. Walked to restaurants Old Winery and Aura on the Lake. Cycled the Niagara Parkway and the Welland Canal. Wished it had been warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool.

We were able to enjoy a wonderful mini vacay and took full advantage of the delightful heated pool during our stay. The backyard was completely private surrounded by tall trees, bushes and shrubbery, and fully stocked with a patio table and numerous comfortable seating. The kids especially loved the salt water experience and will remember their stay with fondness. Four comfortable bedrooms and kitchen stocked with everything needed. Location was perfect nestled between stunning homes, B & B's and perfectly manicured gardens. A good walk away from the bustling main street of Niagara-on-the-lake.

Wine/Golf vacation
Great stay, exactly as described, easy check in process, quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to downtown. Perfect central location if you want to visit the wineries or take in a round of golf at many of the nearby courses. We did both and would definety recommend.

Just what we needed
Lovely stay with my two adult daughters and an adult granddaughter when we came to Niagara-on-the Lake for a family wedding. Everything we needed in a well appointed house where we could sit around and visit together before and after events. Very much appreciated the owner's quick response to any questions I had. The property was close to restaurants and shops... the girls ran/walked, but I chose to drive and then could bring us all back after shopping and lunch. The weather was exceptional so we were able to enjoy being in the pool (a very special amenity) and lounging in the sun. 3.5 bathrooms were a real bonus since we had four women all getting ready at the same time.
The Guineafowl (looked like a wild turkey to me) on the front porch railing when we arrived home each night was a bit of a surprise the first night. but it just sat there and was absolutely no problem. After reading up on how they control the insect population, we figured it was probably good to have around.
