This beautiful third floor unit has floor to ceiling windows directly overlooking the breaking waves on the beach below. I greatly enjoyed gazing into the waves and seeing green sea turtles and spinner dolphins right outside my windows. A south facing patio gave access to both sunrise and sunset. The furnishings were comfortable and the housewares etc were everything I needed. Close to lots of activities . I would definitely stay here again.

What a spectacular view!

We arrived at the condo to discover construction/concrete repair underway at the complex. There was scaffolding and work going on right next door - lots of noise and dust. We contacted the owner, apparently he was not aware of the extent of the work being done. The work moved to another area of the complex, but a good portion of our vacation was disrupted. The owner really stepped up and refunded our payment for the days that were affected, which we truly appreciated. The condo itself is nice, but a little tired.

We have stayed in 314 three times before for good reason. The view cannot be beat. As soon as I open the door to the condo I feel my blood pressure dropping. Comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen, updated appliances, plenty of cooking utensils, dishes and silverware. Very clean condo. Beds are comfy. I love sitting on the lanai with my morning coffee or evening cocktail and turtle watch. Condo is within walking distance of The Beach House, a wonderful restaurant with great food and the best mai tais. We never had to contact the host because everything in the condo was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Amazing views! Holly & Gregg are very responsive. We’ve been renting #314 & #315 for 6 years. No other condo building can match the views. There are some updated appliances. Nicely stocked kitchen Wish the second bedroom had AC… it gets very hot in there. The rest of the condo has GREAT AC!!!

This was our second stay at this amazing spot. We loved watching the turtles and surfers from the waterfront lanai. This is a very comfortable unit. Nice king size bed. Everything we needed for making breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again!

The view was spectacular! The condo complex was in a great area. We all felt that the condo needed to be updated. Had some difficulty with the air conditioning when we wanted to turn it on. Communication with the owners was good.

From the balcony you can watch sea turtles and whales. Easy access to snorkeling

The location of this property is wonderful, with a lanai overlooking the ocean. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The condition of the condo is somewhat rundown and needs a facelift, but everything works fine and the bed was comfortable. We would come here again.

Great hq to enjoy the beauty of the island.

The rental process went smoothly. The view was great. Everything we needed was in the kitchen except for coffee filters and salt/ pepper. I was surprised at the layout but when I reviewed the photos it's all there. The bathroom that goes with one bedroom is in the hall, but the other bedroom has a shower right there in the bedroom and a bathroom sink and toilet behind a door. The kitchen is dated, as seen in the photos but the pictures don't do the place justice. The refrigerator door has rust ir some kind of spots all over it. A good remodeling would make the place really nice. All the beach toys were welcome.

The location of this condo is perfect- great snorkel beach next door, beautiful sunrise & sunset views. The unit could use a little updating & second bedroom can get a little warm (but keeping that door open during the day helps circulate air.) There were plenty of kitchen supplies and beach accessories. The laundry room is right down the hall, so it's convenient. It's very clean, but slightly dated. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Condo was exactly as expected. We chose Kuhio Shores for location and it did not disappoint. Owners are easy to communicate with as well.

This was the perfect location for our trip to Kauai. Centralized, but out-of-the-way enough that at times it felt like we had the island to ourselves. The property and condominium were beautifully located. The view of the windows, each morning was incredible, we watched sea turtles swim right in front of our condo every morning as we ate breakfast. The condo provided everything we needed to maximize our time at the beach, including chairs, towels, an umbrella, and sand tools. The only things we wish we had known in advance were that the condo has air-conditioning in the front room, and the master bedroom only, the second bedroom and bathroom do not have air conditioning and can get a little warm all rooms that have fans which was nice. There is a bathroom in the hallway, and the second bedroom with two twin beds has a bathroom inside of the room. All in all we would give this condo a nearly perfect score and we look forward to revisiting very soon!

No a/c in second bedroom uncomfortable sleeping, outdated unit needs some updates including pots and pans. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Very nice property, clean, well maintained and roomy. A well equipped kitchen allowed food preparation and cooking. Our only complaint is the “hot box” that is the 2nd bedroom. Temperatures were only tolerable with ceiling and box fan and A/C. Clearly a design/construction flaw but sleeping was a real challenge.

We have had several BnB experiences, but this was by far the best location we’ve stayed at. The moment you enter the condo, you are transported to this otherworldly place. From sighting turtles and seals to rare but spectacular rainbows over the Pacific, this condo is a must stay. Highly recommended! PS: Do not miss viewing the night sky from the lanai.

We enjoyed our time in Poipu. The view was spectacular. Watching the surfers and turtles right from the lanai was a special treat. Greg could not have been nicer and he was very easy to get in touch with. We all felt however, many of the fixtures were a bit tired and worn and in need of some TLC. We also found whatever cleaning products the cleaning service used very objectionable. The floors were tacky in places and there was a strong odor, which was solved by leaving the windows open.

The location of this property cannot be beat. It’s so special being right on the water. I can’t imagine any property being any closer to the water than this. Literally just steps away. It was so fun sitting on the balcony watching the surfers right in front. And then the best snorkeling that we found on the entire island is right next to the condo. We were able to just walk out of the condo and start snorkeling without having to drive anywhere. I cant recommend this property more and we would definitely return.
