The location of the property is amazing. We enjoyed the sea and beach views and sunrise from the balcony. The property had sufficient sleeping capacity and overall the experience was good. Two things we did not like: (1) the bathrooms did not have shampoo and body wash gel; interestingly, two bathrooms did not have even a provision to keep shampoo and body wash box that we bought. (2) the two floors of the property are not interconnected. When we needed to move form from top floor to ground floor, we need to go out of the building; it was difficulty when it was raining.

February 2020 Trip with 2 families consisting of, four adults and three children, one of which is 6 months old. We rented out the Seascape which was offered as an entire house. This house consists of 2 seperate apartments. An upstairs apartment and a downstairs apartment separated by outdoor access. We rented this house with the intention of having one family upstairs and one family downstairs. The upper apartment of SeaScape was nice and clean with wonderful views. It had all amenities you could want and need. However, the downstairs apartment was unusable. Our friends with their 2 children spent the first night in the downstairs apartment. It smelt strongly of mildew and felt damp. It kept them and their kids up all night. The downstairs apartment was unusable to sleep in, especially for the children. We aired the entire apartment out for over a day, which had little to no effect. The horrible smell remained. We reported the issue straight away to the property manager at Stayz. The response from Stayz and the owners was extremely disappointing. They wouldn’t offer any compensation/alternative and didn’t apologise for any inconvenience. They basically told us that the owners spent a lot of money fixing the problem and it is what it is. Stayz management told us that there had been no previous complaint about the smell but if you read the previous review about the property there was. We booked in October last year and it wasn’t reported then. If we knew what we know now we would have had rented this property. As a result our two families with small children were forced to use the upstairs apartment only, which felt cramped and the sharing of bedrooms was a huge inconvenience. We rented this property specifically for the use of the two separate areas, and did not get what we paid for. We will not recommend Seascape or use Stayz again. Pambula itself is gorgeous area and for anyone looking for a family friendly getaway I would thoroughly recommend it, however I would certainly not recommend staying at this property. Overall - Disappointed.

The house is well located and well equipped with a well set up kitchen for cooking simple or more complex meals and a pantry with many of the basics in stock. It is a simple and easy property to spend holiday time in and well located within easy walking distance of the beach. The upstairs bedrooms and living area are all comfortable and well presented. There were great instructions around the house about the property, how to access the beach, how to use equipment etc. The only disappointment was the musty smell in the downstairs living/bedroom area. We understand from reading information in the house that there is a damp problem on the ground floor of all the properties in the street and that al bedding etc is this area is new. It is unfortunate as it does make that area of the house unpleasant to spend time in.
