The bedroom was big, the bed large and comfortable, the bathroom was modern and large too. We also had access to a very cute terrasse. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything to prepare our breakfast. Els was very very sweet and it was nice to talk with her. Her inputs were very useful!

We loved our stay at the Violet Suites! The host went out of her way to make us comfortable, even tracking down decaf coffee for us. The Violet Suites are super comfy and just gorgeous. So many creative little details that make you want to spend a few extra minutes there in the morning, enjoying your coffee or tea before you leave for the day. The suites are in an excellent location, a short walk to the Ghent city center, or a much shorter walk to the tram that will take you right there. The nearby neighborhood is so charming, we loved everything we did in Ghent. I couldn't recommend Violet Suites more!

I traveled with a friend and while not a huge deal, the bathroom had a sliding door instead of a fully closing door. It wasn't the most private option, but worked out just fine.

This accommodation was fantastic. Location is great. About 10 minutes walk to the centre and lots of bars and restaurants on the way. Also near bus and trains. Extremely clean. Beautiful and modern rooms. Access to kitchen which is well resourced with drinks and snacks. Very helpful and welcome greeting. Cant fault it.

Els is a kind and generous host. My room was spacious and nicely designed, and the food in the kitchen was more than enough for a very nice breakfast. Overall a great pick!

Check in was very easy and the host was helpful. Room was big, bright, and clean and had a lovely balcony. Close to Gent Dampoort station and to the center of town- easily walkable.

There is no soundproofing between the rooms and common area, so it can be quite loud early in the morning. There is also a motion activated light in the room that takes a while to turn off- annoying if you get up during the night. Because of these thing we didn’t sleep very well.

The place was fantastic and very near old Ghent and very convenient with tram and buses just 5m away. Els was very kind and had a wonderful array of breakfast for us, with tasty tea choices.

Loved the location, the design, breakfast. Only issue I had was the bed was too hard for me. My husband was fine with it. We loved it!

Nice and clean room with cozy balcony. Upon arrival we could immediately park on a private parking around the corner. The host, Els, was very friendly and helpful.

It is near city centre. the surrounding is good & safe . the B&B owner , Else, is personable & helpful. very generous food supply at your disposal. Room is clean , bed is big and comfortable, toilet is spotless. l will definitely come here again & will recommend others too

We stayed for one night and had a good time. The room was comfortable and clean. Also the location is perfect for visiting Gent.

Nicely located apartment, 10 mins walk from city center, Full day safe parking available for only Euro 15, Els is a great host. Although breakfast was not include, it actually was. Every morning there was fresh coffee, breed, yogurt, fruit. The atmosphere in cozy and relaxed. There is a nice cinema Skoop just around the corner. Gent is a beautiful city and Violet Suites is a great place to explore it from.

The walk around the high placed bed with a bit narrow, can be risky in the middle of the night. Maybe put a little bar around it.

We had such a wonderful stay here!! We would love to come back; the location is great, the room was not only very stylish, but also very complete and practical; we had all we need and more. Els is a wonderful host; very kind, welcoming and helpful and had a lot of tips for our stay in Ghent. Very clean rooms, excellent bedding, quite rooms with enough privacy; even though we shared a mutual kitchen.

Light space with excellent facilities and friendly owner.

Super clean property with just 3 bedrooms (all with own bathrooms), very comfortable beds, a lot of space for family. The shared kitchen / eating area is stocked with drinks, fruit and some snacks, air conditioner is available in one of the two rooms we booked. We found paid parking on the street for 6 euros a day, and it was an easy walk to the center. The hostess is very friendly and helpful. Regarding breakfast, there was some stuff provided by the hostess such as yogurt, muesli etc, so check out what’s available when you check in before you go to the supermarket. For us it was simple but enough.
