The Lola House is a beautiful, spacious, clean and cozy home...my friends and I had a really wonderful time and the weather was sunny hot and humid perfect for going to beautiful Kelly Beach which we were hoping was alot closer to the house but ended up being about a 4/5 min walk which in that weather is really hard..they do have bikes but most of us close to 60 and hvnt biked in awhile lol Overall great place and we are looking foraward to returning next year The owner Glen was available and super helpful through the whole process Would highly recommend the Lola House for your stay in Narragansett..

We enjoyed our time at the Bonnet Shores ...the walk to the beach was rather daunting but Kelly Beach is perfect for younger children ... our house was well appointed and clean ... everything was as stated and the owner took care of any issues rather quickly ...

We had a good time - the house has central air which was perfect during the heat wave. It was well equipped with towels & sheets and all the necessities that one needs in a kitchen. Very spacious and bright and decorated lovely. Bikes and chairs were all avail to us. Bonnett beach is beautiful but no parking:(

We had high hopes for this rental but some of us left feeling that these issues put a damper on our weekend getaway. Let’s start with the positives: Great location, beautiful house that was clean for the most part (with the exception of some crumbs on the couch downstairs and hard candy on the floor in one of the rooms), Kelly Beach was beautiful, adequate amount of towels The not-so-good: The biggest complaint we have is that the owner, Glen, was not very responsive during our stay. We had a few issues that we ran into, and throughout the course of our stay, he only replied once. I called and messaged him numerous times for issues such as - back shed was locked so we couldn’t access the bikes. We had planned to bike to the beach or have someone drop us off and then they would bike back to the beach. In the description, Kelly Beach is listed as being 0.5 miles away. According to the GPS, it’s more like 1.5 miles each way. Although Glen did offer to reimburse us if we decided to rent bikes, that was out of the way and inconvenient. - Towel rack in the bathroom downstairs was broken. We had nowhere to hang our bath towels after use - Propane for the grill ran out. While Glen has an account with a place nearby that you can go to fill it, it’s only open Monday-Friday (which we were not made aware of). We had prepped everything for a bbq Saturday, only to find that there was no propane. We decided to bake everything, only to find there was no aluminum foil or baking sheet so we had to make a trip to Dollar Tree. - Laundry dryer was missing a start button. It seems it may have fallen off so getting the machine to start is tricky - A lot of light bulbs were out. We found extras in the closet but none for the fan light in the lower level. It was very dark in the lower level living-room at night Some of these issues aren’t a big deal, but when grouped together with a lack of responsiveness, it was frustrating. I would not recommend this property until necessary changes are made and until Glen is more responsive and helpful.

The house was great! Very spacious, clean, and close by to everything. Suggest walking to beach due to no parking for Kelley beach but the walk is just a short distance! 100% recommend!

The house is absolutely beautiful with a definite 'beachy' feel. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing for an early morning walk to Kelly beach. The location was great as we took the ferry to Block Island, swam at Scarborough Beach and took in the mansions in Newport. Easy drives to everything! Former Cape Cod family now loves Narragansett. We stayed at Anna's Cottage for a girl's weekend this June and loved the house! Close to the beach, great communal space and kitchen. The beds were also very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to RI!

We had a great weekend stay in Bonnet Shores. Great neighborhood beach, lots of essentials (stores, restaurants, etc) nearby, good for families with smaller kids.

We loved our week in this home. It was well kept, had everything we needed and was comfortable for adults and kids. It was conviently located close to multiple beaches and attractions, had well supplied kitchen for cooking, comfortable beds, three showers, and a very tasteful beach vibe decor. I would highly reccomend it for someone who doesn't want to feel like they are "in a rental" but rather want something that feels like their "home for a week."

First time in Rhode Island, our family of 10 loved the Naragansett area. Glad we chose it over the very crowded Newport. The house met all our needs and it's well located in relation to beaches, restaurants, shopping etc. Newport only 20 minutes away.

Great house for a weekend with a group of friends. The house has exactly what we needed. We brought some extra kitchen utensils which we didn't end up even needing. It was about a mile walk to the beach and a short (15 min) drive to shops and restaurants. Glen was very responsive when we needed to go elsewhere for a new propane tank, since the place where his account is closes at 5pm on Friday. The house was very clean when we arrived, but I believe he had to call a cleaning service after the last group. We went in early June so I can't comment on how well the AC works, but my room was pretty cool and there are ceiling fans throughout the house. Overall, would definitely return for a future stay here and would recommend house to others.

This house is perfectly situated just ten minutes from Narragansett's waterfront promenade and restaurants and less than half an hour from Newport leaving plenty of time to relax and explore. Its large and spacious with ample space to gather for meals and socializing and plentiful bedrooms and bathrooms affording everyone a place to retreat to. All of which made it an ideal place for a weekend getaway with our adult children and their significant others.

The highlights of our trip was the location- Kelly beach was perfect for our 3 small kids and was a short walk away. We also enjoyed the open living space and outdoor shower. We were so thankful for the outdoor shower as the main bathroom inside was pretty gross. It not only had chipped paint and obvious mold growing on the upper walls the toilet seat was stained and pretty worn. The furniture was pretty worn as well but that was a bit expected for a beach rental. Upon arrival- we found crumbs around the house which I spoke to the owner about and he said they were in the process of interviewing a new cleaning service. He was very responsive. The rental was also missing a very much needed coffee machine- as you can imagine with 3 kids it's the first thing we look for in the morning. The house did provide nice towels and a clean outdoor grill. I totally rely on reviews which is why I was surprised this home was given 5 stars. I think that with the much needed updates and a good deep cleaning it can live up to the 5 star ratings it's been previously given.

I booked with Glen for a girls weekend away. There were 12 of us total and plenty of space in the house. The beach was only 0.6 from the house which was a gorgeous walk, and Newport was only a $20 uber away. Glen was responsive and helpful with logistical information and made great recommendations for local activities. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and I'd definitely rent this home again!

Me and a bunch of my girlfriends wanted a weekend away, and this house was the perfect place for it. There is plenty of rooms, a gorgeous back deck and everything is clean and beautifully decorated. There is also close access to beaches and stores. We had an amazing time and kind of wanted to move in at the end of the weekend. Glen is awesome and there were zero issues in setting up and planning our stay. I highly recommend this house for a Rhode Island getaway and will probably be back!

We had a wonderful vacation here! House was gorgeous beach was amazing and the owner Glen was very quick at getting back to us with any thing we needed!!!

We had a family reunion at this clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated home. It suited our party of eight adults and one child very well! Glen, the owner, was a gracious host. We were the first guests of the season and he drove down on our first day to connect the WiFi for us. He also was eager to recommend local sights and restaurants and said to call his cell if we had any questions. It was great to know that he was available. One nice thing about the house was that there was an upstairs living room as well as a downstairs family room, so we could have multiple public spaces for spreading out and enjoying each other's company. The back deck was comfortable and although we didn't use it, the back lawn was in great shape and would be a nice place for kids to play. The kitchen was adequate for cooking all of our meals. Next time we will bring our own equipment if we plan to bake anything; while there was a great set of stainless steel pots and pans, there were no baking sheets or mixing bowls. The local beach really was beautiful and uncrowded all three days we went. Soft sand felt great underfoot. The beach was a mile away and without public parking, so we enjoyed having long walks with the family to and from the beach. Glen also offered us use of the bikes for making this trip and suggested that a driver could drop off family and beach gear, then drive home and bike back to the shore. If we had wanted to carry more things or avoid the long walk, we could have driven to one of the nearby state beaches instead. All in all, we would definitely recommend this property to large groups and consider returning in the future!
