We are 11 woman who have been friends for over 35/40 years.
We live in different locations so we all get together for a 4 day weekend getaway each year.
Arrawarra and the house were beautiful we all had a great time.
Thankyou 🙂

Wonderful time and the house was perfect for what we needed lots of room and activities to keep everyone happy, not to mention the location of the beach at your doorstep.

The service I recieved from the property manager was awesome. Due to Covid and floods we had to re-book 3 times and each time was never a drama. I wish all accommodation bookings were as easy and stress free as this one.
The property it's self had great views and easy access to the beach. All ages from 9 years to 75 years thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

Beachside bliss
This was the perfect location to leave the hustle and bustle and reconnect and recharge. We had 2 other families with us and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Very good
The house was great for our large family (13). The location and proximity to the beach was great. The only suggestion we could make is that maybe curtains could put on the 2 bedrooms facing the beach area.

Great property for families with small kids. However, air con wasn’t working when we arrived which meant no heating during winter. When we notified the agency they failed to do anything about getting it fixed for the duration of our stay.

Surfbreak
We have rented this property for the last 3 years over the June long weekend, we love the location and that it is big enough to accommodate all our crew. A few maintenance issues need to be addressed but overall a great place to stay.

We stayed at surfbreak for 2 weeks, and have loved it, the location is perfect! The views are amazing, the photos don't do the views justice! From the master bedroom you can lay in bed and watch the waves and sunrises (n.b no curtains in any rooms) the house is well equipt with everything ie extra blankets/crockery/appliances. It's a huge house, the front section is nicest, and has 3 bedrooms, one up 2 down, the older back section is great for
kids to play and extra sleeping but no views and quite cold.
We had great surf too. Definitely return

The location is amazing. Beautiful views steps from the beach. The living area and kitchen is well appointed. The beds are comfortable.
This would be a great place to stay with a couple of families with active kids.
I don’t like to do negatives but there were a few issues.
1. Cleanliness, I didn’t click on to this when renting it, but you are responsible for cleaning when you leave. I’ve stayed in numerous accomodation such as this and always left the place tidy, taken the garbage out, all the standard stuff. I’ve never had to clean, vacuum and mop before checking out. There was a build up of dust, the windows and sliders looked as though they had net been cleaned in months. The duna covers had some stains. We had some cool days and some of the blankets were so dirty that I had to wash them before I would wrap myself or my kids in them. Also you have to get all this cleaning done, (for a large house) before a strict 9am checkout. If you have to clean the place yourself at least give the guests until midday to do so, maybe the place would be cleaned better.
2. No Wifi, again this is my fault for not clicking into it. It said on the description all the modern conveniences, and I haven’t stayed in accomodation that hasn’t had wifi in years so it wasn’t even something I considered it to not having.
3. A large tree limb resting on the roof. We knew that the weather wasn’t going to be great, but I figured we’ll bring a ton of board games, there’s a pool table and ping pong table. Plenty on indoor family fun to be had if the weather isn’t great. Unfortunately there was a large limb resting on the roof that would in the wind scrape down like amplified nails on a blackboard and itermitantly bang as though a sound like someone trying to kick in a door. This disturbed the sleep of all of us in the front house. I am a sound sleeper, but this was unbearable.
So we left early...
Would I stay in that house again? no. Would I stay in Arrawarra again. Absolutely.

Lovely spot, stayed in this location before. House is not toddler or baby friendly, no curtains in any rooms which was hard for kids to sleep, no aircon - aircon in bedroom didn’t work, mattress and furniture outdated, kitchen table not designed for kids but overall it was still a lovely house to spend a week at the beach.

Awesome place, I’m glad our normal house was booked as we have found our new holiday house.

Needs MAINTENANCE
The location is wonderful BUT needs a lot of maintenance. I wouldn't recommend for little children as they have 2 set's of stair's without working child gates.

Perfect location for large families. Stayed here with two other families and it was larger than we anticipated. Walking distance to the beach. Shops close by. Highly recommend.
