About this house rental
*Duke has lowered lake levels for repair of the dam. A boat cannot currently be pulled up to the dock.* Lake front cabin with a beautiful view. A dock for jumping in, watching sunsets, or tying your fishing boat up to! Sleeps up to 10 ( counting 2 children in loft bed). Two bathrooms, a full kitchen and dining room, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill make this place perfect for enjoying the lake! We have the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning while watching the fog drift off the lake! This place is a stress free zone! The bedrooms here are very small (especially where the bunkbeds are) but the space is very cozy and quaint. There is a TV and DVD player on site, but no wifi. Near by is dining and a marina to rent a boat from! The lake is famous for hunting and fishing, there are few areas to hunt nearby and a hunting club right down the street from the house. We are about a ten minute drive by boat or car from the marina, where you can rent a boat or out your own in the water. And can drive right up to our dock and park it.

This is a great price for the location and size. We had a group of 4 adults. It would have been a little tight with the 6 we were expecting. The front porch is great!

We didn’t mind our stay due to the location of the property to the lake; however, the house needs a little TLC. The property location is beautiful. Each adult stayed in separate rooms and the main bedroom had a comfortable mattress, the other two rooms did not. This house is more staying at a friends house while they’re out of town versus a professionally managed property. We should of brought sleeping bags and our own pillows. The pillows and mattresses were stained and extremely used. Also, if tenants are expected to remove trash from the residence and take it to the centralized trash collection point off of 97, then the property managers should post the hours. The trash place was closed on Sunday until the afternoon, well after checkout. So overall, I would not stay there again and would rather drive from a hotel in Columbia, Florence or Sumter despite a beautiful lake view.

If you are looking for a get away from all your problems..this is the place to be. It's a quite and peaceful place that has amazing views. Lay back in the hammock, or just sit by the fire pit. It's all here. You will not regret it.

Perfect weekend get-a-way
This home was perfect for our weekend get-a-way. Great spot on the lake with dock and the sunset is nothing short of what is advertised. The home was very clean and the manager’s response and times was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and will most definitely rent again.

This was a perfect introduction to "Lake Like" for my beach borne sister. Plenty of wonderful chairs * loungers outside, a perfect covered porch, even in the rain , clean kitchen, lots of water safety items, & perfect yard *& water access 👏

We had a great weekend staying at the house. The beds were a little small for adults but we made it work. Very relaxing place that ended up be pretty convenient to two restaurants and a gas station/store.

We were visiting from California and had couldn’t believe how cozy and comforting this place is . We went fishing off the dock, rented a pontoon boat and docked at the dock , I don’t even know how to fish and I caught two catfish and two crappie in about two hours. We will definitely try to make it back here.

We were visiting from California and had couldn’t believe how cozy and comforting this place is . We went fishing off the dock, rented a pontoon boat and docked at the dock , I don’t even know how to fish and I caught two catfish and two crappie in about two hours. We will definitely try to make it back here.
