This is great accommodation spoilt by spoilt by an inadequate heating / hot water system.
Great roomy accommodation, nice quiet location, comfortable beds . Hosts 10 out of 10 the place was very clean .
It has to be said there was snow on the ground, the host did get the log burner going in the lounges . The bedrooms and bathrooms were freezing the radiators were on when we first arrived about 7 pm but when we came in later 11ish they were stone cold . it-was so cold I went to sleep in my clothes . The next morning we couldn’t seem to get any hot water in the hand basins . Had we visited in summer we would have had a different view I think . .

would love to go again.
We enjoyed our breakfast it was very tasty. We both thought the location was excellent. Just a short walk into Bakewell town centre and Ashford in the water. Ideal location for Monsal trail and river walks.
No complaints hosts very welcoming and keen to help and advise us. There were no coat hangers in wardrobe but we managed and i'm sure we would have been given some if we had asked.

Lovely accommodation in a great location
It was lovely to have a communal area for us all to get together. Proper milk in a fridge was a bonus. Location was brilliant! Host’s communication was excellent. Can’t fault it!

Lovely accommodation, perfect for a short break.
Really well presented and the host was very welcoming.
Nothing, the property was perfect for what we needed. The only thing you may want to consider is a blue tooth speaker.

Superb
We arrived as a family of 4 and shared two bedrooms - us one, and the children a second room. Each room is very large, with a shower and toilet, a coffee corner and a small fridge. The house also has a living room with TV, games and a fun sitting area. and an exit to a garden immersed in nature and a fun outdoor sitting area. A lovely, spacious and cozy house with attention to the little details. Very clean and well equipped. Very friendly hosts who gave us a warm welcome.

Lovely hosts
It was very comfortable and roomy. Even though we didn't use all the facilities like living room and garden. Lovely hosts. Lots of useful information and recommendations about the area.

Great place to stay with friends and family.
Great location and very comfortable accommodation. Hosts very welcoming, pleasant and friendly.
Overall a lovely place to stay and we would certainly return however…..Carpets could do with a clean and some doormats and a shoe rack would be a good idea. The TV in the bedroom not working but not bothered enough to query it. Could do with some shelves and towel/clothes hooks in the en-suite shower room. No wardrobe in one room to hang anything up and the other room has no drawers. One teaspoon for tea and coffee between four guests in the rooms and at breakfast, odd! Breakfast fruit was strangely served frozen; other choice of jams and not just marmalade for toast would be nice plus a teaspoon to serve. A radio in the dining room at breakfast would be a nice touch as it felt very formal and perhaps a table cloth to save the polished table from anything hot being accidentally not placed on a coaster. Might be better and more practical to have the tea and coffee facilities in the lounge as it’s a bit dodgy carrying boiling hot drinks downstairs. A few biscuits too would be a nice touch. Hopefully this is noted as constructive critique as it’s otherwise a very pleasant stay and we would certainly recommend it.

A place to relax!
A lovely place for a family in beautiful Bakewell. Walking distance to a craft beer brewery. Very quiet to calm down after the excursions of the day. We loved it and can warmly recommend. Superb breakfast served. Thank you very much to our hosts Sarah and Andrew
