About this cottage rental
The Outback Cottages offer a glimpse of Southern Door County where everything doesn't have to be so hectic. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery on your private deck or around your campfire pit. The cottage is located within a mile of beautiful public sand beach at Haines Park and is within 5 miles of Potawatomi State Park. Also near Idlewild golf course and several restaurants. 8 miles from downtown Sturgeon Bay, less than 45 minutes from Sister Bay, nothing is far! Play all day, come back to a quiet relaxing evening under the stars. We welcome all pets that bring responsible owners. Please, let us know if you are bringing a pet. Please note, the steps to the upstairs bedroom are slightly steep.

This place was really cozy and we loved the fire pit and deck. We loved the views. Everything was perfect. Pam is a great host! This place was really clean. I would love to get back there soon. Thank you for the best time we have had in a long time.

We had a great time exploring door county with outback cottages as our base! Was quiet and comfortable. Galen and Pam were welcoming and communicative.

Location is absolutely perfect. A quick ride into the downtown are of Sturgeon bay and close to Egg Harbor, giving us the ability to see all the things we had wanted to see over a weekend. It is quiet, clean and you can see the stars clearly at night which is such a treat. We were so grateful to find this gem which was perfect from a standpoint of comfort, cleanliness and location.

I was in town for the Door County Century ride and my two night stay at Outback Cottages was a great idea. Galen and Pam were very friendly and accommodating. The cottage was clean and cozy, just what i was looking for. Great location near a nice little beach for sunset. I recommend a stay here.

The stay was absolutely wonderful. Love the cabin although the upstairs did get a little warm. We enjoyed the time at the cabin having a kitchen and place to sleep for us is a must when staying somrwhere. We like to explore and so were gone mosf days. Pam and galen were vwry froendly and helpful during our stay. Would definetly stay again.

My husband and I (early 50s) visited for a long weekend with our dog. The cabin is clean and comfortable and the property outside is well-maintained. The owners are very nice and available to answer questions. We did some hiking in the area and attended a fish boil at a nearby restaurant. Overall we had a great time and we would stay here again.

Nice safe and quiet place to stay. Owners were friendly and very welcoming. Never had to worry about anyone messing with our boats and gear.

Lovely cabin that is perfectly situated in a quiet rural area, but still only 10-15 min from downtown Sturgeon Bay. Amenities were everything we required, including a fully functional kitchen. The rustic charm was cozy and perfect for relaxing after a long day. Loved that they are dog friendly, my Roxy loved her stay as well!

Was very happy with my stay. Was able to get a hold of owner easy and got fast response. Nice and clean everything! Really out in the middle of nowhere. Very quiet which is nice to be away from the hustle and bustle.

My spouse and I went to door county for a quick getaway and found this lovely cabin. It had everything we needed and we were able to bring the dogs! Pam and her husband were very nice people, super helpful. It was very clean inside and outside the property. We would stay here again.

Our experience at Outback cottages was very good. The cottage was very clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet with nice surroundings. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We choose this place because they did allow us to have our dogs here.

We went to celebrate my birthday and we were welcome with a bottle of wine and a note. The cottage is clean, cozy and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. There are plenty things to do around or enjoy the beautiful backyard they have. The first nigh the starts were awesome. We will definitely go back. Thank you for your hospitality!!!

We had a wonderful stay here at Outback Cottages. We stayed in cottage #2 and it was marvelous. Clean, comfortable and cozy. I loved having the fire pit and the grill outside. It was a lovely location, so peaceful and quiet. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone wanting to get away from the tourist areas and have a couple days of pure relaxation.

Very cozy cabin! The only downfall is the stairway to the loft. It is so steep that even our granddaughters commented on it. The location worked well for our chosen activities and it is a very quiet peaceful spot after a busy day!

We enjoyed our stay at the Outback Cottages.
It was close to all of the hiking trails & parks we visited. The property was just as listed. It is clean & well maintained. Returning to the peaceful relaxing cottage & private backyard at the end of each day was a welcome bonus. We definitely recommend staying with Pam & Galen.

Our vacation were great, we spent 1 week from June 25th to July 2nd My boyfriend and I spent great and fun time at Sturgeon Bay and around.We had opportunity to enjoyed walking, beach, cruise,music great restaurant and friendly people, in special the host.

Owner responsive. Property clean but we sneezed whenever entering the property. Enjoyed privacy but stairs steep to bedroom and bathroom downstairs.
