Excelente ubicado, buen apartamento, mal vecinos y cama

Ventanas insonorizaban muy bien con la calle. Ubicación excelente, dentro de las murallas, a un paso de todas las zonas históricas. No era grande pero tenía lo necesario.

Los vecinos, portazos y ruido no muy alto pero molesto de madrugada, sobre todo uno de los dias. La cama era muy mala.

Très satisfaits, nous retenons l'adresse

Appartement spacieux (en dehors de la salle de bain, mais ce n'est pas gênant à nos yeux vu le temps que l'on y passe). Commerces à proximité. Parking à 1 € par jour à 15 min à pied. Quartier calme, même la nuit, malgré la présence d'un bar en bas de l'immeuble. Ferran est très réactif et donne plein de recommandations. Machine à laver sur les toits mais cela ne nous a pas gênés : la vue sur la ville vaut le coup ! Nous étions avec un enfant de 22 mois et aucun problème de sécurité, logement adapté.

Il manquerait un aspirateur (la matière du sol étant statique, nous avons dû passer le balai sans cesse pendant les 15 jours).

Disappointing

The location was excellent.

The photos did not match the reality. It was old, tired, very damp and dirty.

Excellent for a city centre break

This is a great little apartment in the heart of the old city. Ferran was a friendly host, waiting to greet us at the street door - and it was helpful to have two sets of keys. The bed had a new mattress (very nice), everything worked, and we used the huge floor-mounted fan rather than the air conditioning. The balcony was perfect for people-watching and I enjoyed sitting on the rooftop with a good book, supervising my laundry. It was perfect for two people and we would happily rent it again.

This is not for people who are very large or have mobility problems (as is the case for much Tarragona's old city): there are 3 flights of stairs to the apartment and a further 6 to the washing machine in a shed on the roof; the shower works very well, but the rainfall shower head is set quite low and the door is awkward; and there's not much room either side of the bed. Recognise also that you are very near the cathedral, with bells sounding every quarter hour (including at night), and the pleasant bar in the same street can be open from 07:00 until 01:30 the following morning. And I wish that more had been made of the rooftop terrace... for those with a head for heights.

Very good

Awesome location, nice and bright apartment!

After a while, water leaked out of the toilet and that was really annoying. But it was no one's fault and Ferat had someone come and fix it.

A great apartment for a few days break

Ideal location for sightseeing and dining. It really was a step back in history and some of the old buildings are stunning. We enjoyed the fact that the city was mainly attracting Spanish tourists which kept prices of food and drink very reasonable and made for a different type of break. Our host, Ferran, was really helpful.

The bathroom sink and shower are very small but I'm not sure anything can be done about this. The pull-out bed is very low. In fairness, these things would not matter if we had booked a shorter stay.

Great location!

The host was very friendly and the location could not be more central! Enjoying strolling the streets of the old town and trying local restaurants. The beach is also a walkable distance away if you want to swim.

Great Location in the Old Town

Fabulous location in the old town. Enables you to live for a few days like a local.The host was very helpful letting us get into the property early, he also let us stay a little later to enable us to connect with a train. There was a Spar and Carrefour (much the better of the two) approximately within a 5 or 6 minute walk. The train station was about 15 mins walk. Taxi from Reus airport cost 35 Euros. We liked the fact that there were few tourists (but lots of Spanish ones), few people spoke English but we got by and we found the locals very friendly.

For people with disabilities there are 3 narrow flights of stairs to the apartment. The apartment is quite small and the aircon unit is in the living area so the bedroom was stuffy . There were two bars very near the apartment (one closed at 11.00 pm so no problem) the other went into the early hours and street was really noisy making it difficult to leave windows open. The flat itself is basic and the bed quite uncomfortable.

Exceptional

We enjoyed place a lot! At first, owner of the place Ferran, came to let us in, answered all the questions and sent us a huge list of restaurants in town. Appartment was in old town, just few steps away from cathedral, so the bells of tower was waking us up every morning. Very atmospheric! Just have in mind that there is a bar outside and the visitors there are drinking and expressing themselves quite loud in the evening 😊

Location and helpful owners

Blocked sink, no lightbulb in bedroom, poor shower, terrible bed and pillows. A feeling of general neglect. Owners fixed most of the issues immediately but the general air of neglect remained.

Excellent stay in the heart of Tarragona's old town

Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely return. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped, clean and very quiet. The location couldn't be better, it's right in the middle of the old town, steps away from the cathedral and within walking distance to all attractions (museums, bars, restaurants, beach, etc.). Many thanks to our host for lots of great restaurant suggestions and for accommodating all our requests.

My new home away from home in Tarragona

My new go-to apartment in Tarragona. Thoughtfully and functionally decorated with everything I needed to stay organized and be comfortable without feeling crowded. Hooks, shelving, and closets throughout the apartment. Great shower head. Basic spices and oils and in the kitchen. Love the big kitchen table, perfect for spreading out and working. Absolutely loved this apartment.

The front door to the building is busted and needs to be fixed. Also some of the lights in the pasillo upstairs aren't working which made doing laundry in the dark a challenge. Would be nice to have a smart TV and be able to AirPlay, access Netflix, etc.

Pleasant

Walk up one bedroom apartment, clean and spacious. Nice well equipped kitchen.

Problem during our stay was WiFi was out. No lobby just a 5 story walk up.

Super apartment, excellent location and great hosts.

Location was brilliant. 100 yards to the Cathedral, short walk to Museums, Roman ruins, shops etc. Apartment was clean, Farran was waiting with the keys and showed us around the apartment, making sure we knew where everything was. He supplied his mobile number and said to ring if there was anything else we needed. We had requested a few items (bread, ham, milk, bread, water) and they were there waiting for us. There is a bakers around 50 yards away, a bar almost opposite and several restaurants/cafes very close too.

I don't think there was a mention that the flat is 'upstairs' (first floor, around 30 steps) which may be a problem to those with mobility problems. My wife suffers with arthritis in her knees so it was a slight problem. However, it did not adversely affect our holiday at all..
