Spacious apartment, beautiful terrace and nice host!

A little tricky to find. Just the sat nav did not take us there and no line nearby so trying to call for directions was hard.. wanted to check in before our meal that we’d booked so had to find it after in the dark which made it even more tricky! But the host even came to find us in the town and we followed him there so that was good!

It was very peaceful in a small village (Vico Equense) twenty minutes from Sorrento. The place was quiet, clean and with all amenities you can think of. We met with the owner at the village and he guided us to the apartment, which was highly appreciated. There was a nice restaurant with traditional food just seven minute walk from the accomodation.

Very friendly owners, and the room was clean and spacious. The property is in a village around 5 KM from Vico Equense away from city's noises.

The road to the village is very narrow and needs a lot of attention. If you don't have your own transportation I suppose it is difficult to get around.

The villa is located quite up on the hill so driving thru the narrow and curvy street is a challenge

The owners are very friendly. We had not booked a moped and they helped us to look for one during peak season. Unfortunately, everything was sold out, and so they even gave us a hand from time to time by taking us to the city center with their own car.

The place is a bit far from the city center. It looks close on the map, but there are several hundred meters of height difference and the road to get there is not pedestrian-friendly at all. There is a bus which can drop you very close, but the bus is approximately every hour and not reliable (often late or early). Taxis are nearly impossible to find in August, and a ride from the train station was marketed at 40€. We definitely recommend you book a car or a moped in advance of your stay.

Elena and her husband are superhosts, very helpful and extremly warm. We got so many useful recommendations from them to spend our holiday, they helped us to communicate with locals, find the useful local sevices, best pizza and beach. They even booked the Capri trip for us! Our whole family felt very welcome at Villa Elena!
