About this house rental
We are continuing to keep our home empty for at least 48-56 hours in between guests. This reduces the risk to our housekeeper and our guests giving time to viruses to lose their virulence. Our home is cleaned with Bleach Cleaners and all areas where is commonly touched is wiped down along with a deep cleaning in between guests. Microban 24-hour disinfectant is then applied to commonly touched areas. My wish is for the health and safety for all. Thank you for your understanding. THIS HOUSE IS NESTLED IN CENTRAL GREEN RIVER. WALKING DISTANCE TO RAY'S TAVERN, MELON VINE GROCERIES, CHOW HOUND FAST FOOD AND PIZZA AND GREEN RIVER COFFEE. BEAUTIFUL GOLF COURSE JUST 2 BLOCKS EAST OF HOUSE. BOAT LAUNCH 1/4 MILE AWAY. TAKE HASTINGS RD NORTH TO VIEW THE SETTLERS CABIN, PETROGLYPHS AND RIVER BEACH PICNIC AREA. TAMARISK RESTAURANT 1 MILE EAST HAS EXCELLENT FOOD AND DRINKS. ARCHES NATIONAL PARK 40 MINUTES SOUTH AND JUST A FEW MINUTES MORE. MOAB BOASTS WONDERFUL MICROBREWERIES. CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK FARTHER SOUTH OF MOAB. GOBLIN STATE PARK IS 70 MINUTES WEST. CAPITOL REEF IS 85 MINUTES WEST. THE SAN RAFAEL SWELLS 15 MILES WEST, FANTASTIC HUNTING RIGHT ON THE GREEN RIVER. WE HAVE DUCK, GEESE, PHEASANTS, DEER, PRONG HORNS AND AN OCCASIONAL ELK. ENJOY THE HUNDREDS OF MILES OF OFF ROAD TRAILS WHICH TAKES YOU THROUGH BREATHTAKING SCENERY. WE HAVE THE BEST MELONS IN THE NATION, ALL FOR SALE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. MELON DAYS IS OUR MELON CELEBRATION USUALLY HELD IN SEPTEMBER. WE HAVE RIVER RAFTING EXPEDITIONS WHICH LEAVE FROM HERE OFFERING DAILY WEEKEND OR LONGER TRIPS. HATT'S RANCH HATCHERY 15 MILES WEST OFFERS HUNTING OF GAME BIRDS. https://hattranch.com/ SIT ON THE FRONT PORCH AND WAVE AS THE TRACTORS PASS BY. SUCH A RELAXING AND FRIENDLY AREA. We have bunnies that frequent in our front yard. We love them. We ask that you not try to catch them as they will run into the road and get hit by a car. Canyonlands airport (Moab) is 30 minutes from our home. Fly in through Salt Lake city or Denver with very reasonable price. You can rent a car from the Moab airport. Enjoy the quaintness of the airport and enjoy the no fuss, no hassle travel. Easy to rent the car and drop it off. Amazing River raft experiences offered through Holiday River Expeditions. A nicely remodeled home in Green River, UT that served our needs beautifully. The owner provided fruit, bagels, English Muffins, coffee/cocoa which was much appreciated.

Very clean, up to date, well-furnished 3BR 2bath house. Great location for visiting many parks, John Wesley Powell River History Museum very interesting also!

We toured from coral reef/goblin valley to canyon land/Arches, and this was the perfect home base. After a long day of hiking and adventuring, we were able to come back to a comfortable and cute home to relax. Yolanda provide little extras like fruits and muffins and ice packs to get us started. She was a wonderful host in this green river gem. Until next time!

Our family stayed a week at Yvonne's and did a lot of outdoor activities, mainly using the house for sleeping and breakfast. Very clean, well maintained, plenty of hot water and cool A/C and well-equipped kitchen. The cooler, freezer packs, charcoal, provided soaps and laundry supplies are great benefits to this property if you are traveling in by plane and having to "buy everything" after you get to town and intend to do a lot of outdoor activities/travel in the area. Beautiful flowers were beginning to bloom along the drive, nice morning and evening sits on the porch. Also enjoyed the 1950's Saturday Evening Post magazines. Honestly one of the best rental experiences we've had. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for a little family vacation. So close to so much beautiful scenery. We would play yard games in the great yard after dinner each night.

This was a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen was well stocked with more food than we have ever seen before. The only downside was that we had to call the day we arrived to get the access code to the home.

Short drive to Moab and Goblin Valley. Comfortable furnishings. Clean. Great resting point after a day or activities.

We stayed the weekend and it was a perfect home base for riding our side by sides. The house was clean, had all the necessities we may need, and there was even a little something there for breakfast. Fantastic communication from the hosts before hand and an easy and simple check out process. We will definitely be back.

We arrived and the house was absolutely beautiful inside, super clean, warm and inviting. We didn't want to leave this peaceful place and the owner generously let us stay an extra day. The local BLM land is spectacular.

Beautiful home, immaculate with everything we needed. Very comfortable and homey. Perfect location for us - we visited Arches, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef, and did a rafting tour on the Colorado River (through Navtec) which was amazing. Great communication with the owner who checked in with us to see if we needed anything else (we didn’t). Thank you Yvonne for sharing your beautiful home, we had an awesome week!

Loved our stay in Green River! The house was comfortable & perfect as a home base to relax after a long day visiting the parks. We really appreciated the amenities provided. It was great knowing that we food available for breakfast the day after arrival. Yvonne provides everything needed for a great stay with recommendations for grocery shopping to dining! Would return if ever in the area again!

Comfortable lodgings, well equipped, excellent communication with hosts, nice "extra" amenities such as fresh fruit, English muffins, coffee, enough water bottles to get you started, etc. Easy to find.

Green River Stay
We had 4 adults and 3 kids stay here for 2 nights prior to embarking on a canoe/camping trip that left from Green River. The home was great - clear, updated, and very comfortable. This house has a nice, grassy, shaded yard which the kids really enjoyed and which provided good atmosphere for the home. We cooked at the house but could have walked to the few restaurants in town. Everything in the listing was accurate. We felt it was much nicer staying here than in a hotel. Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the house in Green River. The house is clean, comfy, and cozy. The owners provided us with everything we needed and made us feel at home, as well as information about Green River, interesting places to visit in the city, off-roads, and National Parks. We had the opportunity to go to Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Archers National Parks, the Dead Horse State Park, the Carbon Corridor, off-roads, and the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price. The parks are amazing and the museum is very interesting and a place of learning. We appreciate the hospitality of the owners.

My husband and I enjoyed staying at the house in Green River. The house is clean, comfy, and cozy. The owners provided us with everything we needed and made us feel at home, as well as information about Green River, interesting places to visit in the city, off-roads, and National Parks. We had the opportunity to go to Capitol Reef, Canyonlands, and Archers National Parks, the Dead Horse State Park, the Carbon Corridor, off-roads, and the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price. The parks are amazing and the museum is very interesting and a place of learning. We appreciate the hospitality of the owners.

OUTDOOR PERSONS PLAYGROUND was a perfect jumping-off spot for our adventures. We drove and hiked north, south, east and west, and each evening had a clean, cool place to come home to. We visited during a heat wave (with strong winds tossed in), and what a relief it was to return at the end of the day! The beds are comfortable, the fridge had water and ice (and bread and butter), and we were even able to use the Roku to watch an NBA championship game. A wonderful place.

Green River Getaway
What a great place! The hosts thought of everything and more for their guests upon arrival. Coffee, Bagels, muffins all the starts to get our vacation off right. Accommodations were fresh, clean and comfortable. The granddaughter loved the 2nd floor master suite. We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood....we sure hope Green River comes to life for additional activities near, but with Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Goblin Valley, Dead Horse point all within an hour or so....PERFECT LOCATION!

Yvonne was a fantastic host, and her home is wonderful. Clean, well-appointed, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen. Great place to stay.
Our stay here was perfect. The owner was so helpful and generous providing a big bowl of fruit, bagels, english muffins, and more and making sure we had everything we might need. The beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and well-maintained. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and midway between several State and National Parks. We enjoyed Goblin Valley State Park , Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park.

Great place to stay in Green River!
At the last minute we booked this property for a fall break get away for our family. It was a perfect place to stay to see the amazing sites of the area. We hit Goblin Valley one day and Arches and Dead Horse Point the next. Fossil Point was a fun adventure too.
Yvonne was very responsive and accommodating. The place we recently remodeled and was very comfortable. You might want to bring some earplugs for the late night trains blowing that blow their horns. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Yvonne!

The Green River area has unlimited natural beauty, but the town itself is a bit neglected. However, Yvonne's lovely home is an oasis! The house worked perfectly for us, from the complete kitchen to the wonderful furnishings. We can unequivocally recommend this house, and you will enjoy working with Yvonne.
