About this house rental
ISTANA is a comfortable 3 bedroom holiday home that accommodates up to 6 guests (8 with 2 trundles - suitable for children only), absolute beachfront on a small cliff top with excellent sea views . Open plan kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, dining, lounge with TV/DVD, reverse cycle split system air-conditioner, bathroom with shower and vanity, separate w/c. No washing machine - you can use the coin operated washing machines at the Point Turton Caravan Park. Outdoor setting, gas BBQ, plenty of room for the boat. Bed configuration - bed 1 - double, bed 2 - double, bed 3 - 2 singles plus 2 trundles (suitable for children only). Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to take your own linen - pillow cases, sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels. highchair at property. Dogs negotiable - $100 refundable pet bond will apply (property not fenced). You will need to contact office staff if you would like to take your dog. This property is a short drive out of Pt Turton which has a General Store with general groceries, bait, ice, fuel, delicious baked pastries and take away food. * OFF PEAK SPECIALS* (excludes school holidays and long weekends) 15% discount on off peak nightly tariff for bookings 4 nights or more Nightly tariffs - cleaning, booking and refundable bond fees apply Peak - 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay $225 per night High - all other school holidays plus long weekends: 3 night minimum stay $190 per night Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay $165 per night Bond may increase during peak season

There is plenty of space and 3 good size bedrooms and well equipped kitchen and open living area with outside undercover area for eating out on barmy nights. Great shower although water pump gets noisy. Fantastic location with tidal flows over the reef, variety of birds and restful seas.

This was our second stay. We love the location, the house has a lot of space and it's dog friendly. This time the cleaning wasn't as good. One bedroom smelt of cigarettes and the BBQ had a build up of fat and hadn't been cleaned. Also it would be a nice addition to have one queen bed with a nicer mattress the double mattresses were very thin and firm. We learnt from the first time and bought a thick pillow topper with us. We love the place and look past these things because it is a special spot. Thank you for making it available to us.

We love going there evert Xmas is is so relaxing just wish they would get queen size beds as the doubles are really only good for teenagers not adults. Overall was a good stay although had a mystery animal steal our esky lol.

Property was all we expected and the view was even more . 5 beautiful days of relaxing and de stressing taking in the surrounds and sounds . Istana has all you need for a great get away and is neat and clean and pretty well maintained . Dee from Accomodation on Yorkes was great as usual , even come round and replaced a couple of globes that had blown . Took a nice drive down to Marion bay and had a look through Inneston national park and saw quite a few baby emus and a couple of kangaroos as well . Berry bay was amazing as well as was Corny point beach ( not quite Flaheretys, local beach close to Turton ) . The only disappointment was realising our stay was over and we had to leave but as the title says We’ll be back soon .

Stayed for a week, lovely spot. House electrical is dodgy, bedside lamps not working, sand all over bedside cupboards, water pump in laundry very noisy, many light fittings without globes especially in kitchen, lounge and back porch. Can’t open any windows they were all locked, couldn’t find switch for kitchen exhaust fan ???? But nice spot and views

lighting in kitchen was not good the hot plates in kitchen was dirty couldn't see Tv was no good couldn't use it the smoke dect was flat but part from that good location lots of room in house rest was clean

Had a great stay at Istana. Awesome spot and great shack for a few couples . Caught squid and gar out the front in the tinny. Plenty of dolphins to watch in the arvo and great meal and cold pint at the pub. Can't wait to come back !

We loved our stay here, watching birds and the local sea life from the front veranda. The spacious home is comforatble and kitchen well equipped but need to bring all your linen and food. They have a good guide on what to bring. There is a dirt road to get to the home.

We have stayed here 4 times and will be booking a 5 th stay shortly . Took my wife here for a Birthday weekend and as usual it didn’t disappoint . Well equipped holiday home with a spectacular view , dolphins swimming past and stingrays and we’re lucky enough to even see a seal . The open plan living is well set out and the bedrooms are clean and a good size. Sitting out the front just watching the water was nice , we forgot the fishing rods but still just enjoyed the view . The kitchen is well stocked with all the glasses , plates, cutlery and cooking utensils you will need . A spare gas bottle on site would be a great idea and maybe an updated BBQ . Location is superb and overall the house is clean and well presented . As always Dee and Sharyn from Accomodation on Yorkes were super helpful and a pleasure to deal with .

Unfortunately are stay this weekend did not live up to our expectations, when we arrived and the lawns and gardens were untidy the exterior of the house was dirty and the inside wasn’t to a standard expected of shorterm accommodation. Lucky we took our own linen including blankets as they we disgusting. Definitely won’t be staying at this location again

The view and location was fantastic! House is tired inside but overall perfect for a family or two families.
A few improvements such as new cutlery, a new microwave, improved locks on doors ( can only be locked and unlocked by key, unsafe in an emergency).
Would definitely stay again with quiet beach as your backyard and endless rock pools to play in.

House was nice and roomy nice private coastal area, quiet and relaxing.
House not so clean, linen that was supplied was all Stained and not very inviting. Working vacuum cleaner wouldve been good.
Besides that, would stay again , if I knew it had been cleaned properly.

Perfect for our girls weekend. The view is amazing and the house is comfortable and spacious. Watching dolphins, a stingray and a friendly pelican cruise past us was so peaceful.
