This roomy house is a treasure box full of magic! If you are coming to St. Augustine for the beautiful history and architecture, this house will complete your experience!! Our host Brett was an absolute joy to work with; I can’t say enough great things about our too-short of stay!

Great location for walking to shops and food. Lovely decor and you definitely feel taken back in time. Needs a little TLC but not much, just a few light globes and yard work.

This house was so special to us. My husband was raised in a house just like this one. Antiques, furniture, wood floors, high ceilings, area rugs all so beautiful. Beds were very comfortable. The neighborhood was safe. Walked everywhere to see the sights of downtown. Nights of lights was amazing. We will be back again and will stay here if available. The host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions we had.

What a fantastic location in relation to downtown St. Augustine! We walked there quite a bit. The location of the house is on a quiet street and we felt safe there.
It boosts antiques throughout most of the house. We definitely enjoyed the charm of this house. If we visit the area again, we wouldn't hesitate on booking with Brett again.

My wife and I only needed 1 night but for that brief time I really loved it. It's as quaint and charming as the photos show, and I would be happy to stay again.

My family stayed here for 5 nights. The house was larger than I expected. Bedrooms are all a good size. There are antiques in the home but there are comfortable couches where the tv room/living room is. The kitchen seems to be fully stocked although we only cooked breakfast a few times. Close to historic area- can walk to St George Street - probably about 10 minute walk. Easy drive to Anastasia State Park- paid $8.00 per car entry fee and the beach was not crowded at all. Felt safe walking back to the neighborhood at night.

My husband and I had taken my parents who were visiting from abroad, to St Augustine and they absolutely enjoyed living in this beautiful house, which is in such a pretty neighborhood and walkable to all the attractions. Can't speak enough of Brett, who went out of his way to accommodate us earlier, a big thank you. The house was so comfortable, stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was even laundry there with the soap and the dryer sheets. We all loved the decor, it was like walking through a museum..very beautiful...we will be back again.

Nice Living space, dining room, 3 bedrooms and sufficient kitchen. 1 decent bathroom, 1 very small. Towels, sheets and bedding are a little worn but Beds have extremely comfortable mattresses. Had Issues with internet and premium TV stations which host attempted to remedy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property is in a perfect location in the heart of old St Augustine, the shops and water front is only a few minutes on foot. The house is a living museum and it was a privilege to stay there. We only spent one night as we are on a roadtrip across the south eastern US but there is so much more to see in historic St Augustine. Highly recommend booking this lovely old house.

Disappointed in house. Clean but sitting areas not comfortable. Beds ok. House needs paint and yard not good. We were told 8 minutes walk to town. It is. 25 minutes. Paid $600 for 2 nights!!!!!!!

We stayed just one night on our way down to Worth beach. This was perfect for our quick tour of the night lights downtown and then Flagler in the morning. Nice little house for 4 senior ladies - thank you

I have stayed in 6 different places in the area, this was the most spacious one yet. Loved the layout. House was very clean and had everything you needed. Will stay here again.

We stayed 3 days/2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. House is huge and unique. Plenty of amenities (extra towels/blankets, dish soap, fan, etc.). Would be great for longer stays with large families. We walked to everything downtown including restaurants and coffee shops. Groceries were 5 minute drive. Trip to lighthouse on about 15 minutes. Running and walking in the area was great. Quiet neighborhood but easy access to main roads.

- long driveway which can hold about 4 cars.
-very quite neighborhood.
The only MINOR inconvenience for us was that one shower is quite small; if you’re above 6ft it’s a tight space.
Overall a great place for a great price.

We enjoyed our stay for Thanksgiving. House was perfectly located to walk into town to sightsee and eat. Not our first trip to St Augustine but our first to this house. Nice to stay in a historic home for a complete change.

We enjoyed our stay at the Historic Island Dog House! The location was perfect for walking around the historic district, there is off-street parking, and the house is beautiful. We loved all the period charm and antiques. The host was very responsive and even checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. I'd highly recommend this property!

Lovely historic home within walking distance of the many delights of St. Augustine. Home is extremely clean with many supplied amenities. We enjoyed our girls’ trip immensely. Note: no ice maker in freezer, so buy a bag if you like ice in your cocktails. Host has been let down by the landscaping company. Yes, it’s been a rainy summer, but grass was over 3 inches tall and sticky weed seeds clung as we walked up the walkway.

This historic house was full of awesome pictures and antiques. It had a very old feel to it and captured the St. Augustine history really well. The beds were comfortable. This house is only a few blocks from the downtown strip.
