EDITH'S is a 2 bedroom holiday home on the Esplanade that accommodates up to 6 guests with magnificent views of the bay! Open plan kitchen with microwave, electric stove top, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dining, living area with split system reverse cycle air-conditioning, combustion heater (BYO wood) TV, DVD, radio, CD player, and a Breville coffee machine (BYO Beans). Bathroom with vanity, shower, w/c. Laundry with a front loading washing machine. Front verandah with outdoor setting, gas bbq, plenty of room for parking and the boat, fish cleaning facility. Bed configuration - bed 1 - King Size( see below note), bed 2 - Queen Size bed and1 x Single Bunk bed. Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels. (please note if you don't have king bed top/bottom sheets let office staff know and they can be hired for $35 -you will still need to take pillow cases and all other necessary guest linen) Pt Turton has a General Store with general groceries, bait, ice, fuel, delicious baked pastries and take away food. No smoking inside Garage not for use DOG FRIENDLY - fully enclosed rear yard *OFF PEAK SPECIALS* excludes long weekends and school holidays 15% discount on off peak nightly tariff for bookings 4 nights or more Nightly Tariffs - cleaning, booking and refundable bond fees apply Peak - Easter / 24th Dec to end of Jan school holidays and Easter: 4 night minimum stay $220 Per Night High - all other school holidays and long weekends: 3 night minimum stay $195 Per Night Off Peak - school terms: 2 night minimum stay $175 Per Night Bond may increase during peak season

Located on the quiet end of the Esplanade and facing glorious sunrises. Inside is easy living, comfortable queen bed, many lovely touches to make you relax and enjoy the stay. The heatwave meant the bedroom overhead fan was appreciated and the one air-conditioner was close by in the living room.

Just the place for a bit of R & R and wonderful to take our dogs with us. Everything in the house that you'd need except a rack to hang clothes!
Love the beautful new bathroom and laundry area & 2nd toilet will be a bonus once installed. Nice big family room with large windows looking out over the sea - what a view, it couldn't get much better.
Cleaning a bit superficial [sticky kitchen handles, cigarette butts in plant pots, dirt under the matting] but nothing that can't be easily fixed. Pub and general store within walking distance.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks!

location location location,,,,aging but very clean house.. everything you want and very peaceful. beautiful green lawn out front near the waterline and with time the bushes and different plants would look amazing with a bit of pruning, care etc

The accommodation was very well equipped. Cleanliness was not perfect but was not disgusting. Location was a perfect spot for EARLY morning sunrises and overall a lovely spot. I would definitely recommend to someone else and would stay again myself. If you do stay checkout the Lower Yorke seafood.

Great location, with excellent views. Clean and tidy, plenty of space for everyone. My personal only criticism is it needs a bit of an update. Mattresses and bathroom need to be updated. But please note, still fine but aging. Definitely recommended staying here.

Been staying in Point Turton for the last 12+ year and the YP for 15+. I always book through Accommodation on Yorkes. Sharon & Dee are great to work with before during and after my stay.

Overall fine. Hard with Grand daughters issues with melt downs Mick got lots of negative looks. Screen on verandah worse than last year blow flies an issue with the heat. Concern for their security. Did send email re booking for January with 2 other places from 1st Jan to 7th Jan 2024 Istana and Siblys. We need close to the water for grand daughter and air conditioning. Left early as easier with our little girl. Thanks Sue and Mick

From the time we stepped inside we felt at home. Drawing back the curtains from the expansive windows provided the views we had hoped for. Calm waters with the white sands across the bay were glistening. Sitting under the verandah every sunrise welcoming in each new day. Quietness all about except for the local bird life was blissful. Dark stormy clouds did not distract from warmth and comfort provided inside the home. Beds were clean and comfortable. Home clean and fresh. Affordable accommodation with perfect views. Loved shopping in the local districts too and couldn’t help but notice how friendly the Yorke Peninsula are as well. The property managers were obliging when we requested to extend our stay , not once but twice... we didn’t want to leave! 100% recommend this property and location.

This had everything needed for a getaway. Cosy little place for what we needed, perfect views, location and most of all relaxing! Loeved every minute of it and so did our two groodles.
Booking was easy, so was check in and check out.

It was a nice relaxing time overlooking the sea from the deck. Having the lawn area out the front was great for the dogs and lovely walks as well.

Our 3rd time staying at Edith's cottage. Lovely quiet, comfortable spot to holiday. Our pet whippet loves watching the world go by while snuggled in her bed at the large front windows overlooking the bay. Such a treat being able to bring your dog along to enjoy the stay.

The beds were uncomfortable and the shed was filthy with holiday gear and cobwebs. The windows had doggy nose marks which we cleaned. Not what we expected from the high ratings and good reviews on Stayz.
We contacted the agent and were told it they never had any complaints about the venue. We supplied lots of photos of the substandard conditions and received no reply. Read carefully in the reviews - you will see that others have suggested the place needs a professional clean.
The location was great and we had a lovely time in spite of the chipped crockery, absence of a salad bowl, lack of glassware and dirty venue.
