très bon séjour au SD view hôtel

Personnel très agréable et serviable, notamment Senphet à l’accueil qui a été de très bon conseil et toujours souriant. L’hôtel propose un large éventail de services Je recommande vivement. Je reviendrais volontiers lors d’un prochain séjour à Vang Vieng

Een prima kamer met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel!

Het was een prima kamer en de mensen bij de receptie (die Engels spraken) waren heel behulpzaam! We hebben via het hotel een scooter gehuurd en hoefde hier geen paspoorten achter te laten om deze te kunnen huren.

Het matras was érg hard en er zat plastic omheen waardoor het leek alsof het matras nog in de verpakking zat en daar beddengoed overheen was gedaan.

Necesite ayuda para hacer una llamada telefónica y la propietaria me ayudo.

Me gusto todo, excepto por poner una pega esta en la carretera y para llegar por la noche está un poco apartado del centro

Pleasant

Service was very good. Great value for money, rooms are clean and decent sized. It is a bit of a walk from the city centre but we didn’t mind that, although renting a scooter made it a lot easier to get around and there is plenty of space on the property for parking.

We ran out of water in the bathroom on a couple of days, which caused a bit of inconvenience but the staff were very apologetic and did their best to salvage the situation.

Staff were friendly. Room was spacious. AC worked well. Great views. Easy to arrange activities/transport at hotel.

Breakfast was mediocre. Room hadn't been cleaned when we arrived and checked in, with towels on the floor, bins full etc. I think it was an honest mistake, but still a bit of a downfall.

I love this place because it is close to the city centre and in the nearby attractions. Also, the staff is amazing. They are very accommodating and helpful. The room and the facility are great. I would really recommend this place to everyone.

Very good

Very good stay at the SD View Hotel. The room was big, clean and lovely. Nice view on the balloons from the terrace. The breakfast was good. They proposed activities. A little far from the city center but totally faisaible by foot.

The rent of the scooters are a little bit expensive compared to other locations.

Located just a short walk outside of town, this hotel is simple and nice. They also offer a laundry service which was very convenient!

1. The view of the public balconies is really nice( Sunset and sunrise with hot balloons, however now it’s a good time for the view.. cloudy) 2. The manager speaks English well and helpful 3. Good breakfast

1. The location: it’s 1-1.4km from the center. (15-20mins quick walking) and I was overcharged every times by the Tuktuk in town when I need to go back to the hotel. 2. I really don’t like the idea that they charge different people differently on some booking services(ig. the motor bike, I think the manager overcharged me than others since I don’t bargain.(It’s a Small town, I got information from other tourists) 3. One of the staff don’t speak English and he just ran away when I need him the most( the Paramtor pickup is a little bit late and I don’t know how to open the front door at first and no one else to speak.

Perfect place to stay in Laos's most beautiful little Cities. Most helpful staff on earth

The location was perfect, very near the bus terminal. They suggested I hire a scooter, which I did and had the most amazing time. I accommodation itself was just perfect, Vang Vieng is just so beautiful, but what I can't ignore is how helpful the staff were. I slept in and missed my train, the hotel manager tried contacting me but I couldn't be woken. I missed my train and would then miss my next train to Bangkok and my flight home. The hotel manager knowing my situation reserved a bus to Vientiane then a flight to Bangkok, I'm sure he made a commission but the price was so good it was as if I just got a bonus night in Vang Vieng. Although I was looking forward to traveling by train to Bangkok, I still arrived in Bangkok the day before my flight. I haven't found myself in such a sticky situation before, but the hotel manager solved the whole problem so efficiently, it still feels like a miracle. I've never seen hotel staff do something quite like this. Thanks again Sengphet, and all the helpful staff at SD View Hotel

fantastic location in the heart of Vang Vieng , clean property with wonderful staff, super helpful and offered amazing prices for day trips!

you don’t have a personal balcony, it is a communal one and room didn’t have a view, bathroom wasn’t great

Pleasent

Friendly owner, helped us book tubing and tuk tuks to the train station. Nice rooftop balcony view of the mountains and hot air balloons.

Room was a little tight, bed was hard and the room was really bright in the morning, blackout blinds would be better. Breakfast was really confusing, didn’t know how to get it and not enough space for all guests to sit so we just opted to go out.

location is a bit out of the way - 20 min walk on the main road (trucks and dust). breakfast was free which is nice but was mostly noodles and rice

I couldn't have a shower in the morning due to the water supplies is stop working. so i waited until 11 o'clock and it's still not flowing. They charged me every time i did my move. And i think i didn't get a proper advice when i wanted to make the trip in the city. So this is my terrible experience in vang vieng for this time.

overall, it was nice

the view is awesome and we got very delicious breakfast every day. good value for money

the room wasn’t ready when we arrived (~14:30), got overcharged for the bike rental

Definitely the view was so amazing!!! The staff was really nice and also big spaces for our room!!

Breakfast was kinda okay but they had no option for me cuz I got allergic to egg so I need to buy something to eat. But overall I think this hotel is an underrated places that I've ever been to compared to the others.

Nice, friendly stuff. Room was much better then it looked on photos, it is really big and bright. Breakfast was really good, it was never the same during my 5 days stay.
