This was pleasant and comfortable place with plenty of room. Being an older property it had character. Well situated to the city and surrounding areas and in a quiet part of town with beach access and walks. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Lovely little kiwi batch. Excellent location- two mins walk to Westshore Beach. Great communication with host Vayle. Was a good size for our family of five.

It was lovely staying here, nice and clean, very quiet, no road noise and very close to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and everything one needs to cook. Plenty of room. Comfy lounge furniture and beds. It was great, thank you.

Myself and 5 friends stayed here for the Mission concert. Great little batch - had everything we needed for a long weekend. Excellent communication with the owner. Was a great, comfortable stay, good location, good sized rooms, nice and cosy. Definitely recommend!

My whanau and I needed to attend a funeral. There was a school athletic competition happening and not much accommodation available. Even though the host herself (Vayle) was in quarantine at the time of the booking she bent over backwards to organize cleaning etc to accommodate us. The house was warm, very tidy and we werevery greatful to have a nice place to rest our heads at a sad time. Thanks Vayle. I hihghly recommend Bach Boy Charlie

Very close to the Beach. There was an excellent pub that served great fish and chips or steak within a short walk. The batch was clean and tidy. The heat pump quickly heated the living area during the cold mornings.

The property was lovely. The host was very helpful when I wanted to add another night at the beginning of our stay. The bath was simply amazing. Plenty of space. A heater was put on before we arrived, making the house nice and cosy. The kitchen has one of those built in chopping boards from a different time, like much of the house. It was charming, and homely. We enjoyed our stay here.

The house is well laid-out & in a great location close to the beach.It is however in desperate need of a makeover, with tired decor, old carpets/curtains & the beds are old & uncomfortable
