Parking was good and easy access to our rooms with the key fob at whatever hour. Rooms were warm, clean and well appointed.
On arrival we weren’t expected despite having the booking reference and having rung the week before to check. Only wanted toast and coffee for breakfast but were offered vast cooked meal as the only option. That was too daunting for us but I’m sure would have been delicious!

Unfortunately the resteraunt was closed so we could not book a meal (it may be because it was NYE though) but location was perfect enough to walk to other places for food.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and offered a good service.
Shower wasn’t very powerful, one day our bin wasn’t emptied which wasn’t a problem just not nice.

The hotel was well located and staff were really friendly and accommodating.
We had an exceptional evening meal in the restaurant and parking was really easy.
We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable room, very friendly and efficient staff/management, clean and tidy everywhere, off road parking and a very good busy restaurant. Excellent evening meal with interesting menu to choose from. Super whole-hog breakfast. The hotel has been totally transformed since we last stayed here a few years ago and is good value for money. Highly recommended.

Although the dinner was pretty good, it was not the amazing quality and value that we had on our last visit in September. (please go back to serving a proper Affogato!)

When arrived was at check in desk, staff at bar stared and pointed at me. There was 5 of them altogether. They were putting alcohol in their drinks at 4pm. They said nothing to me. After a few minutes a lady came and checked me in. If they couldn’t do it, they could have acknowledged me and got someone who could.

Warm reception, comfortable clean room. Good breakfast what else could you ask for?
On arrival I was even offered the use of an outbuilding to park my motorcycle overnight, although the car park itself seemed secure enough in its own right.

The bed was lovely, really big and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and they catered for my needs with gluten free toast. The setting was nice with a nice atmosphere in the bar.

The hotel was well run, staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The room was clean and facilities in it were fine. Breakfast was fine and when we had two evening meals both of which were extremely well cooked and service was very good.
All was very satisfactory. Minor suggestion would be to provide slightly more choice of breakfast cereals.

What makes this hotel is the staff, unbelievable 😁 friendly, helpful, polite, the list goes on. The food was outstanding, just perfect. The room we stayed in was so nice, clean, comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. We only stayed one night for our anniversary but the staff made us feel at home. Mother and daughter, sorry I'm terrible with names, made us so welcome, thank you. When they found out it was our anniversary they brought us 2 glasses and a bottle of fizz 🍾🥂
