Friendly stuff and nice breakfast.

Putting one pair of towel and slippers yet we were two people.

The service was wonderful, I stayed in a basic room one night and upgraded to a double the next night. The double was worth it for the space, the basic room was closer to the pool. The beds were basically the same, with beautiful nets around them and fans in the room. The bathroom was a bit nicer in the double, plus the view and balcony was a nice touch. The traditional breakfast was beautifully prepared and filling, if you like matoke and gnut stew, its a winner :) Sunday nights, there's a live band playing who are amazing, I watched from the poolside.

The only note was that there's no tea making facility in the room, annoying when you've booked for work and don't want to order room service just for hot water, but the kitchen was accommodating enough. There should be a way you can charge poolside drinks to the room, I think that was done in the end, but not sure all staff are aware of how that works.

When we arrived at the hotel, reception didn't have my reservation! So they offered us the only 2 rooms that were available. This was disappointing, as I had booked specific rooms a week before the trip. Dinner was ok, breakfast was not. Water pressure in the shower was terrible.

Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was ok. The menu for dinner was fine. They take a while to prepare your food, so give that consideration when ordering. They prepare each meal from scratch. No steps to climb to the room. Everything is on ground level.

First. listing says room has air conditioning. No room there does. They do have fans, but the one in my room, no matter the speed adjust, was too loud and too strong. Second, the WiFi was turned off for long periods of time. For me and what I do, not acceptable at all. Eventually having to complain to the manager in frustration. Third, I presented my reservation through this site, and they didn't seem to have a record of it and offered me my choice of several rooms. I took the least costly since I leave in the morning and come back late at night. Fourth, leave sign to clean up room when you leave, come back, sign is still there and the room has not been cleaned. Hot water... you have to let it run for a long time before it starts to come out warm. No refrigerator or balcony as listed. No big deal for me. I think the listings of what is you get with your room needs to be seriously revised.
