Es un lugar muy acogedor, silencioso y tranquilo, se siente como en casa. La habitación es bastante amplia y cómoda. Tiene una muy buena ubicación cerca al terminal, el aeropuerto y el malecón, a unos 10-15 minutos caminando de cada lugar. La atención por parte del personal fue muy buena, siempre amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Muy recomendado.

La casa es amplia, el jardín y la parte de atrás es un lugar hermoso para descansar.
Cuando llegué les comente que quería hacer un tour para conocer Cabo de la vela, punta gallinas y demás y me contactaron inmediatamente con un familiar que me ayudó a gestionar el plan tal cual como lo quería. Muy prestos todos a colaborar.
Las camas son muy cómodas. El hecho que te faciliten la toalla para bañarte ayuda bastante para no cargar con la tuya mojada en tu equipaje
En ocasiones la presión del agua es muy baja pero es una cuestión de la ciudad como tal. La habitación donde me quedé el segundo día sé sintió más calurosa que la que me quedé el primer día

Great hostel, nice spacious room with airco and a 10min walk to the beach. There are placed to eat at short walk. Shared toilets. They offer a delicious coffee in the morning for free

An amazing homestay with warm people ! Close to the taxi parking for the Uribia station. They also provided us with parking and they offered us great coffee the morning before we leave. Zaida is a wonderful poet with positive vibes and energy . Louis ,her grandson, he was always with smile, speaks english fluently and shared usefull info about everything we asked.

This is the cutest and nicest hostel in Colombia, the family who runs it, does it with a lot of heart. We felt very welcomed and really recommend this place!

It was an incredibly lovely stay at Zaida's place. She is a lovely woman who takes great care of her guests. We wished that our Spanish would be better to understand all the lovely poems Zaida presented to us. If you are homesick, Zaida will take you into her family with open arms. All the best to Zaida and her family.

Everything! You stay with Luis and his grandmother Zaida. Unfortunately we don't speak a lot of Spanish (yet), but Luis speaks English and can translate. They let us park our rental car at their house while we visited Cabo de la Vela. They really took care of us. The location is perfect. Just a short walk from a lot of small shops, the ocean and some nice restaurants.

I was ill during my time in Riohacha and the family did everything to make me feel comfortable.
They are all so caring and will really go out of their way to help you.
The rooms are clean, the aircon is good and there’s a great outdoor space to sit and relax.

This is a home away from home. My niece would say.." Please lets go home" ( when long walks..) And she meant Casa Zaida.
The family is just amazing..helpful..we travelled with two children and they took care of them and us adults like family. Every room was clean. Breakfast was prepared with great care. Highly recommend it.

These were some of the best people I've met in Colombia. They went out of their ways to help me when the country started to go in lockdown because of corona, in what was starting to be a very uncomfortable situation. Apart from that: the room was nice, the bathroom pretty, and the garden wonderful. I felt immediately at home, in this house full of antique stuff that was once owned by grandmother. Loved the wonderful drawings and paintings. Loved the breakfast, too.

It is a great place if you are visiting Rioacha. The room is clean & comfy and the family that owns the guesthouse will go above & beyond to help you set up your trips to the north of the peninsula. Their recommendations were of high value & I am sure the mix of kindness & service-oriented staff will make your stay very pleasant.

A great place to stay! We spent one night here and returned for another night a few days later. The room is very comfortable and everything is very clean. Airconditioning is really pleasant to have. The host and her mother are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious. We are with a car and the accommodation has very secure parking. There are some restaurants nearby and the beach is about 10 mins walking.
