This gorgeously appointed 1bd/2ba guest suite with ocean view is located on the top floor of a single family residence. The suite has a separate entrance and is fully closed off from the bottom level. The suite has a full kitchen with modern conveniences such as a refrigerator with a two settings ice maker (crushed and cubed), a full sized oven/stove, an espresso maker, a keurig, and a Blendtec blender. Parking is provided for one car and a Tesla charging station is available in the garage. **The bottom unit has 1 bd/1ba and a sofa sleeper in the living area. Please inquire if you are interested in renting out the entire house. The guest suite is located just three short blocks from the beach. As you step outside the front door, you will immediately take in the views of the ocean, feel the fresh Pacific breeze, and enjoy the most stunning sunsets you could possibly imagine. Stroll down the beach for surfing, swimming, yoga, sunbathing, biking, volleyball, and/or people watching. Also within walking distance are the pier, sand dune park, the heart of downtown, and a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Spacious. Clean. Great location. We were very comfortable and happy here. Loved hanging out in the large family room and fantastic balcony with incredible ocean breeze and peekaboo views. Easy parking and entry, communicative host. We will be back.

Locale of home is perfect! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, pubs and beach! Apartment is very well appointed, everything you could need. Bed very comfortable. Host was very responsive to our needs . Home is old and could stand to have some updates, however overall a great experience. Would love to stay here again!

We love this neck of the woods but opted for a rental instead of a hotel. This is a great spot. Ms Baird was helpful and accommodating. The property is well-loved, clean, and has every amenity you’ll need for a trip to MB. Looking forward to our next visit.

We snagged this place for a steal last second! But the entrance situation was uncomfortable and we really didn’t feel secure. You enter a code to the front door and then walk upstairs to your space. But before you go upstairs, there are two other doors (one may be to a garage) and the other to another home. But from the front door, there is nothing else to lock to keep those people from entering your area… and the bedroom door didn’t even lock. Also, there are a lot of updates that should be done - the bathroom wall is peeling a moldy in several areas. And the kitchen table is wobbly and looks broken. We would not stay here again :(

Very spacious 1 bedroom with well-equipped kitchen, more than ample dining room, comfortable bed, terrace with peekaboo water view. Clear and easy check in procedure, on-site parking, good communication with the host. Noise does travel very clearly into the bedroom from downstairs unit. You might want to check occupancy of that unit with the host, if noise is an issue for you.

The location was fantastic. We were nearby so many seaside things and we loved that. I will say, we thought that the listing pictures and the actual place were a little tweaked. It was a little more rundown than we had hoped. And there was a fowl smell as soon as you walked in the front door downstairs that lingered upstairs. We were able to easily get over the little flaws and loved our time there.

Upon arrival to the location we were pretty excited because it is just a short hike down to the ocean. When we arrived at the location we noticed right away that the stairway leading up to the rental was very grimy. As soon as we walked up to the top in the stairs and entered the rental HOLY HAIR Batman! .. human and possibly dog,cat, God only knows what type of hair was everywhere. The floors had just been mopped and windows and doors were all opened, but I do not believe the place had ever been swept at all (ever). The bed was the first place I went to.OMG! It was absolutely horrible. The sheets were stained and the mattress was again full of hair, dirt, some sort of pill (medication) was on the inside of the bed. Opened food in the refrigerator, pantry and every single cabinet open liquor bottles 1/2 drank liquor bottles were inside the cabinet. Open and used food were inside the cabinets. Someone lives in the apartment and leaves when they have someone rent the apartment. They ask you to remove your shoes! NOPE!! I would advise against it! The master bath was terrible the shower is terrible. What towels that were available seemed dirty Every single drawer in the house was full of hair and grim and dirt. The couch was grimy and seemed dirty. So much more could be said but it only got worse from there. Look at the adverted pictures then look at the same areas upon arrival. You will be shocked. We left!!! I contacted the “owner” and gave them ONE chance to give a full refund. I received a full refund. Swipe left on this one folks!! Do not waist your time and money. You have been forewarned. **We went down the road to “the beach house” In Hermosa beach absolutely wonderful. Super clean, right on the beach, wonderful host, continental breakfast, and you can walk to 50 restaurants $200 cheaper

We love Manhattan Beach! This listing was only 5-6 blocks up from the beach and near the north end restaurants. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning for breakfast and in the afternoon when the sun was setting. The kitchen is fully stocked and two full bathrooms were a plus. Ann was a helpful hostess and was sure to deliver a wonderful fan when we asked.

Can’t say enough about the experience! Host was so accommodating and went above and beyond for us. The entire place was so cute and the bed was very comfortable. We were able to make the quick walk to the pier for the event we were there to see and down the road for a quick bite. The location was perfect! Would easily stay here again ❤️❤️

Location is great; close to the beach and downtown Manhattan Beach. Little disappointed we were not informed at check-in the clothes washer was not working. The garage (access to washer/dryer) needs some attention as far as cleanliness, owner's clothes and personal items all over the floor. This place has a ton of potential, just needs some TLC.

Initial difficulty with VRBO in making the reservation, as they were experiencing difficulties with the website and I was on hold for 2 hours before a person told me they couldn’t help me because of technical issues. Frustrating!

Property in great location, bed was great, communication great, parking for 1 car good, very reasonable rate too. It could use some updating and you hear downstairs people & next door rather easily. This seems common in Manhattan & Hermosa because the units all along the beach are very close to each other. The space is nice very roomy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

1. She lied about having a cleaning crew come. I never saw one. I checked in and the place was so dirty. 2. The owner stayed underneath the whole time we were there. She has a party multiple nights late at night waking me up. Opening the garage at late hours. 3. Did not give me check out directions.

Youi can't go wrong with this large unit! Well stocked for any occasion and room enough to spread out. Great desk for work and a GREAT comfortable king bed! Located an EASY 15 minute drive to LAX, but right down the street from the Beach. Walk to the pier at Manhattan Beach or just stroll down the Strand looking at all the fabulous houses. We had a minor issue, but communications with owner were great. Next time I'm in LA, hopefully it is available for me.

Location is convenient to The Strand and downtown Manhattan Beach. Living room has big desk to work at if needed, which came in handy for my visit. Wifi is pretty solid too, especially in the living room. Living room gets great light all day and even a bit of a water view. Kitchen seemed sufficiently equipped for some light cooking but need to search for things given the organization.
