Process and communication could not have been easier. The place was comfortable, quiet and a lovely view. Would 100% stay there again.

When we arrived at the Villa, it was beautiful, but not ready for guests. The pool was only half-full and the house had literally nothing in it. I mean, not even a courtesy roll of toilet paper. Since the last guests, it was wiped out completely. No soap, no sanitizer, no toilet paper, no garbage bags, nothing. We immediately turned around and went to the store. I wasn't expecting a fully stocked fridge, but a few basics is pretty standard. It took 3 days for the pool to be filled, and my wife got a chlorine rash after the first use. We made a point of showering immediately upon leaving the pool for the rest of the trip.
When we arrived the sliding door out of the living room was out of alignment and we couldn't open or close it. We tried to fix it, but ended up using the bedroom sliding door the entire 2 weeks, just left the living room closed.
The house had no beach towels for guest use. There was a sign stating specifically that the towels are NOT to leave the house and get get them from the restaurant down the street, but it was closed. There were eight bath towels in the house, zero hand towels, and one face cloth (that's total for both bathrooms.) The second bathroom had a broken toilet seat, which we pointed out the first day but was not repaired.
Whomever cleaned the house did a basic job. The counter and floors were dusty, they made to bed with the bare duvet and left the duvet cover in the closet. The dishwasher had a horrible smell in it. Just dis-use I presume. The television had an Amazon firestick or it was supposed to, but it was missing. There was also a Roku, but it was missing the cord to plug it in. I pointed it out to the Property manager, but beyond dropping up a power cord, nothing changed so this didn't work the entire trip.
We drank the jug of water pretty quickly, and the property manager quickly replaced it, and dropped off a second bottle which was very much appreciated. To be fair, it was a last minute trip. We booked 10 days before we arrived, and they did offer a "last minute discount." I think they were just out of practice after Covid closures. We enjoyed the area, loved the pool down the street and would visit the neighborhood again.

Paradise in Roatan!
I stayed at a beautiful villa on the stunning Pristine Bay property in April and had one of the best trips of my life. I went down with 4 girlfriends and we rented a car and explored the resort property and the island of Roatan. We enjoyed lunches and dinners at Las Verandes (hotel at Pristine bay) and the pools and beaches! We had our own private pool and the resort has 2 pools and 2 beaches to use! Pristine bay is very luxurious and the staff were very friendly! The property is very lush with a golf course overlooking the ocean and tennis courts. Pristine Bay arranged a snorkelling trip where we were picked up at the resort by boat and taken around the island to 4 different snorkelling spots and it amazing! We saw a sunken ship, star fish, a barracuda, squid and lots of fish! We explored the island and had great meals at Cal’s cantina and Kristi’s overlook! We also went to gumbalimba park and did the zip line and hung out with animals and then enjoyed the afternoon at west bay beach. We enjoyed the wide range of activities in Roatan, from hanging out at our private pool in the villa or spending a relaxing day at the resort to adventuring to the animals and the reef!

My mom, sisters and I spent a week at beautiful Pristine Bay Resort (villa 1214). Our villa was clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and it had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our coffee each morning overlooking the stunning property (ocean view). We enjoyed many fun excursions around the island. It was very easy to hire a cab for the week
