Misleading

Location

Spoke with someone at Booking.com and booked a 2 bedroom. Showed up there and it was a one bedroom so I had to sleep on a small 2-seat hard couch as a 6’3” 230 pound man.

Not staying there again

The location can't be beat!

I paid unbelievably more going through Booking than if I had just called the place myself! I paid over $300/night for a crappy, run-down studio, when people were paying less than that for a 1 bedroom!

Served it's purpose, much time was spent away, but nice place to sleep & relax and not sightseeing

Perfect location for tourists: vineyard, p'town, sand dunes, box lunch, beach, amer spice co, trails, etc. Cross the road to a private bay side beach!

See-thru hand towel sized "bath towel". Bring your own. No counters. You do your own trash, dishes, towel swap & sweep! And there's a tip envelope!?

We loved sitting in Adirondack chairs watching the beach and meeting our neighbors.

Perfect little spot that met our expectations.

Very basic accommodations but the cottages are essentially on the beach. We didn't expect much as the description was accurate - we just wanted a place to stay a bed to sleep in a shower etc.... so that we could enjoy Truro and the area.

it was wonderful, an old fashioned seaside retreat

I love the Cape Cod Bay view and the open hallway and breeze through it, I loved all the red Adirondack chairs, I loved that it had no televisions on the property so you could hear the sound of the waves and go back in your early 1960’s Cape Cod vacation by the sea.

Amazing stay

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!!! Love this place so much. Staff is very helpful, the lady at reception gave us a lots of recommendations, she was very friendly and welcoming. Our cottage was simple but just enough for the lovely stay we had. Simply amazing vibe.

Sorry, nothing positive!

Location is good.

Not private, could hear everything from next unit. There was a shared/locked door, with a one inch gap at bottom. Not private or secure, could hear complete conversations & baby crying in the middle of the night, as if they were in the same room. Very disappointed, because I couldn’t sleep due to the noise.

bed was small old and leaning towards the headboard very uncomfortable. tossed and turned all night. not big enough mattress for 2 adults

The Ocean BREEZE MADE IT COOL AT NIGHT. The beach was great, ocean was warm, could walk for miles either direction. Shuttle right there to take you to P-Town. Towels fresh daily. Will definitely book again

Cute little cottages close to the ocean. Don't have to worry about sharks because there's a sandbar and they can't swim into The Sandbar or they get stuck.

I got lucky and my cottage had air conditioning but many of them there do not.

Just what I needed...

Cape Cod has grown to be a very expensive destination. That said, I was happy to get a last minute affordable reservation at Oceana Cottages. These cottages represent what's best about old Cape Cod. My cabin was suitable for one person (#27) and perfect for a solo traveler. It was very clean. I was glad I brought my own linens because it just gave me that comfy taste of home feeling. All my neighbors were super friendly and I felt safe. I also loved not having to pay $30 to park at the ocean-side beaches. The beach outside my door was very clean and a delight to wake up and fall asleep to. My WIFI signal was weak, but Helena notified me of that issue when I checked in. I didn't care because I come prepared for not using the Internet. Otherwise, why bother going on vacation. The photos were exactly what I was expecting my accommodations to look like. I have been vacationing at CC for thirty years. If you want luxury, which I did not, rent a house or a condo. These cottages are being lovingly restored and are very well cared for without taking away their original feel. Ocean cottages is great for a family beach get-a-way and location is perfect for travels to PTown, Truro Wellfleet area. Very close to the Truro Winery, Moby Dick's Restaurant and Corn Hill. All my favorite location destinations. There was even a seal frolicking visible from the desk. I will surely return for my next beach vacation.

Good

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The cottage was clean & the central A.C was great. The location is the best part very close to Provincetown, easy access to route 6a.

The cottage was too small with partial ocean view.The room next to me had very noisy guests with loud music @ 3 a.m. !!!
