About this house rental
Located in Anna Maria Island, this attractive house for £590 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. 'South Cay' is an absolutely beautiful house in "Anna Maria", on Anna Maria Island, Florida. How close to the beach? There are only 11 houses between South Cay and the Gulf of Mexico beach, so this property is very close to the beach. Walk out the house, look to your right, and you see the beach access. Look us up to see how close "South Cay" in Anna Maria is to the beach! In addition, this is probably the nicest section of beach on the island. South Cay is also very close to Anna Maria's charming shopping area (Pine Avenue) -- you can stroll to a breakfast place or the ice cream parlor and walk to shops and stores. We recently added a bathroom, so South Cay now has 2 master-bedroom suites. Each master-bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with shower, a king-size bed, large TV, and a dedicated deck access. The 2 other bedrooms have queen beds, TVs, and share the 3rd bathroom. The house has a beachy vibe, excellent condition, with all new stainless-steel appliances. South Cay has a screened front porch. There are five flat panel TVs of various sizes, wireless high-speed internet, and free phone use within the US. The heated pool is large (14 feet X 28 feet) with a refreshing fountain. RECOMMENDATION: Ask for pool sizes when comparing rental properties. Few have a pool this size! At the end of our street there is a wildlife preserve section on the beach where turtles live (Google shows it as a "park"). The beach is the beautiful Gulf beach (not the bay). We keep upgrading South Cay, so there may be small differences in decorations and furniture between the pictures posted and the actual house at the time of your rental. South Cay is a 'NO-PETS, NO-SMOKING' property.

This is a comfortable and pleasant beach house for a family vacation. Everything you need is provided.It is close to the beach and includes a nice pool in the backyard. It is also close to many restaurants and the shopping district. Most things are in walking distance. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and inclusive experience on Anna Maria Island.

We spent two wonderful weeks in paradise. Our hosts were amazing - we had two small things we needed help with and they were simply wonderful and helpful. They even followed up later to make sure things were good. The house is even nicer in person. The kitchen is well stocked and there is pretty much everything you need. There is some beach stuff and what isn't there, is easily rentable. The house is almost exactly a 1/4 mile walk to the beach and close to so many restaurants and shops. And the pool is amazing!! I would gladly take my family back. One of my favorite VRBO properties I've stayed in!!!

A spotless rental in a great location with a BIG pool!
Our family of 4 did not need as much space as this house provides, but as our 6th annual summer vacation to AMI we have come to have 2 top priorities in a rental home: location and pool. We are big fans of Ginny & Jane E's, which is right around the corner. And this year, we fell in love with The Porch restaurant, only steps away from South Cay. The house was spotless, which is not always the case in a rental that isn't brand new. There are multiple porches and balconies that can be enjoyed when it's not the middle of the summer and doesn't feel like the surface of the sun in Florida ;) Our kids are 9 & 12 and really enjoy more pool time than beach time. We had a good balance of both, but they especially loved having a deep end for jumping and enough space to play for hours. We also really loved the new French inspired Mademoiselle restaurant and bakery - especially because the Crepery on Bridge St. is now only opened on weekends.

Clean, comfortable, perfect location
We enjoyed our week in Anna Maria, we’ve stayed on island multiple years and this was a great experience. The pool is definitely a plus, it’s bigger than normal Florida size! The location is ideal… close to beach and shops. House was very clean and size was great for our two families. The screened in porch on the street side was great for morning coffee, lounging after the beach, and at night!

We had a great vacation. Pool was great and it was only 1.5 blocks to the beach. Property owner was easy to communicate with. No issues during our stay! Would recommend renting chairs.

Best Thanksgiving ever!
This house was absolutely everything advertised and more. It was bright and sunny. It was well-appointed and it was wildly comfortable. The four of us had plenty of room to spread out and the wi-fi suited out needs since two of us had to work for a few days before Thanksgiving. Being two blocks from the gorgeous beach was the best part of all as was being within walking distance to anything and everything you could ever want or need.
The house was clean and the pool was wonderful. There were plenty of chairs/beach buggy/toys/umbrellas left behind from other guests that we enjoyed every minute on the beach and never wanted to leave.
We will be back, there is no question about it. One of the best vacations we've had in a long time. Communication with the owner was prompt, courteous and easy.
Highly recommended when you need a getaway to the incredible Anna Maria Island.

Very nice home with a great pool! It's about 200 yards from the beach but they did have a wagon to haul all your gear which was convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had no issues otherwise so no reason to contact the owners. I would definitely staying here if visiting AMI.

The property was accurately described in the listing. It was very clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. The pool was outstanding for the kids and the adults. The screened in porches were wonderful . We spent time on the front porch each day.
The short distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants was a bonus since we enjoy walking for exercise.
The owner provided a lot of information before our arrival and it made our travels run smoothly.

Great location, clean house. Spent a lot of time on the screened in porches.
House was clean and well equipped kitchen. The waterfall in pool only runs 1-2 hours per day and is between 1pm and 3pm, which is fine if you don't have Instagram / TikTok obsessed teenage girls. Not a huge deal to adults, but would have prepared he 16 year olds. Leaving the beach in the middle of the day was not worth it. The carpet REALLY needs to be replaced. Bedrooms were spacious with great closets.

South Cay is a very nice property on Anna Maria Island. This was our first trip to AMI, and we thoroughly enjoyed the week. The house was amazing, very clean and fantastic location as only 3 minutes from beach. The Pool was great as very large from other houses we have rented in Anna Maria. We have been going to Anna Maria for 5 years and this was one of our favorite house we have rented. We will definitely rent this house again. We felt Beatrice was extremely easy to work with and provided great information prior to our visit. We have in the past not been as fortunate which after all day travel you will appreciate what she provides. We would definitely give this house a 5 Star Plus rating! We would also give Beatrice a 5 Star Plus rating.
