The property was clean and well maintained. It was well stocked which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our family enjoyed the pool area and the outside space as well.

Whatever you do, do not book this unit. Unfortunately, these owners give all VRBO’s a bad name and as a result I will now be booking my stays in reputable hotel rooms. I travel with two small children, and without any notice I was told the unit would not be ready for us to check in at the stated time of 4pm. I was very understanding, and held off until after 6:30pm when I finally got there and to my surprise the cleaners were still there. Beds were still not made, dirty dishes in the dishwasher and three full loads of laundry on the floor. Smelly, wet towels and all. At this point, my children were exhausted and all I wanted to do was put them to bed. The cleaners offered to stay to complete the laundry, but having them in our unit or coming back and forth for three hours while trying to put tired kids to sleep was just not an option. Starting my stay to someone else’s mess was not my idea of a vacation. Washing three loads of other peoples dirty laundry was not how I had planned to relax with my family. Searching for clean bedding to frantically make a bed to put my baby to sleep was not how I would have liked to have my evening. The worst part, the owners offer me a $30 credit. If I were at a hotel, or staying with any of the other vrbo owners that have graciously hosted us, I know this would not have happened. And had it happened, due to unforeseen circumstances, our disturbances would have been compensated for more adequately. These owners clearly have no understanding of what it takes to host people. If I had known the nightmare we were checking in to we would have cancelled our stay and booked somewhere else.

Absolutely loved using this condo for our week here this summer, it was perfect with the grass space just off the patio outside and the three separate bedrooms. Beautiful condo that has everything you could think of or need, we will definately look into renting it again. The only negative, and was minor, was the outside patio table didn't have 6 patio chairs to sit and eat around the table. We made do by bringing some out from the dining table in the condo but it would have been nice to have a proper patio set. That being said we had lovely weather and can't wait to stay here again. Highly recommend it.

A beautiful and clean condo unit in a prime location right across from the Hotel Elderado and easy access to the boardwalk and beaches. Super easy check in and check out, the unit was well stocked with all the essentials. I would highly recommend this unit!

The property was well equipped and is located on the ground floor and is very close to the garage access, which was great. Very clean and the beds were comfy and had nice cotton sheets on them. The owner was quick to respond and reply. This was the first VRBO that I have done and their are certain things about VRBO that I didn't know upfront. Despite a cleaning fee we had to strip all the beds and wash one load of laundry and place in the dryer and load the dishwasher. I feel this should be mentioned upfront, also it took almost 2 weeks for our deposit to be returned. The pool area was nice. The pool is not heated and so when we were there (June) it was freezing. The hot tub was luke warm and I understand from other guests that it was far too hot the day before and so I suspect they were having some maintenance issues. Very young kids were in the hot tub splashing around despite the signs about age restrictions. Overall, I would recommend this property as a great spot to stay in Kelowna but just be aware of some of the VRBO issues and that the owner is only accessible by email or phone.

The condo was clean and well-maintained but be warned - you will be expected to read a 14 page list of rules and instructions from the owner prior to your arrival. For example, you will be instructed to wash AND dry one load of laundry before your morning departure, you will be told to not eat and drink on the couch or wear your shoes in the suite (which is all tiled anyways). The tone of the instructions and my interactions with the owner was that she is doing me a favour by letting me stay there, when in fact I was a paying customer. They are very concerned about having their laundry done - they should invest in a duplicate set of linens for their rental business and not tell me about how much time/cost it takes to clean the suite. Finally, the check in time is listed in the instructions as 3pm. As requested I told the owner in advance I would arrive between 3 and 4pm and at 3:15pm when I contacted her, she told me I was early and check in was 4pm. (She did let me check-in but it seemed almost like she was doing me a favour). These factors made the stay less pleasant than it should have been. This is not the first owner-rental property I have stayed in and I found these rules unusual and excessive. I would not recommend this place to my friends due to the hassle.
