Welcome to Willow Valley View Willow Valley View, though centrally located and just a few minutes from Boone still offers privacy and exceptional mountain views. This home features a stunning all-wood interior, giving an authentic log cabin experience in a spacious and family-friendly home. It has an open floor plan with plenty of space, including two living rooms. Outdoors, you will find covered porches and a stone fire pit with ample seating. The home comfortably sleeps 13 but can technically sleep 14 if two people use the full lower bunk. Access - The approach to Willow Valley View is via a half-mile gravel mountain road. - Winter Advisory: A 4WD is required in winter. Bring chains as a backup to ensure that you can reach the home safely in case of hazardous weather.

First of all, the house was beautiful, the view was pretty and we had a good time with our family. But, the house was not clean, the tables were dusty, especially the lower shelves, the floors had not been swept well at all, the showers were not very clean either. We were disappointed in the overall cleanliness. We actually went straight in and had to start cleaning the floors so our 16 month old grandchild would not pick up things like the left behind crumbs and game peices under the edge of the couch! We also had a problem with the passcode entry process, Our code did not work, not even from the office when they tried it there. We were told to use the master key until they could text us a new code which I never received at all. Not even a follow up call or text the entire time of the stay. So, we were very disappointed with our customer service as well as the upkeep of the house. We did have clean sheets and towels, but the bunk beds and the full size bed on the second floor were very uncomfortable due to old worn out matresses. We made the best of our treasured time together, but the stay could've been so much better if we - as well as the home - could've received the proper care. It is sad to know we pay extra for house cleaning services and do not get that! Makes me wonder if the actual owners of the property even know that the rental is not being well maintained. The valley and surrounding area is beautiful, but we ALL were really disappointed in the overall rental.

My family and I stayed for the weekend; this house had everything we needed. Room to fellowship together but enough space to get away also. Kids loved the downstairs with games and pool table.

Great location. We had 4 couples and had plenty of room. We enjoyed the firepit. The kitchen was big enough. We did lots of cooking.

House was great and we enjoyed our stay. There were a few issues that need to be addressed however. I want to be clear these issues didn’t bother us at all but could inconvenience some.
Microwave works but you have to hold the door closed.
There were a couple of beetles in the master bath
In the bunk room there was a small table that was broken
Garbage disposal doesn’t work
We will stay here again as I’m sure these issues will be addressed.

This cabin has a great stocked kitchen and was perfect for our family to stay at during graduation. It was close enough to Boone for trips into town and back but still gave you a far away feeling.

I know it's your policy but I believe a 4PM check-in is very late. The majority of the day is gone and the rental fees are a little high to pay for this first day. Also, when we arrived at the house 5 minutes early, the cleaning folks had just started cleaning the house so we didn't even get in until closer to 4:30. The house was clean, great views and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

Great Cabin for large family/group with kids!
This 3 story cabin was perfect for our group! We were celebrating 2 teenagers birthdays so we had several teens and adults. The teens were thrilled with the basement, pool table, and kitchenette, while the adults were able to hang out on the main level. This cabin met all of our needs, was clean, and pretty.
The only thing I would request is a coffee pot for the coffee maker. I was also surprised to see there were NO extras of anything (tin foil, ziploc bags, spices, laundry detergent). I've stayed at many cabins and they typically have "leftover" supplies we can pull from--this cabin did not.

Amazing Willow Valley View
If I could give 10 stars I would! This is the perfect mountain vacation home. We hope to return during the snow season, although we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The home is very accomodating. Everyone had their own space to relax. The location is ideal for anything you want to do...just minutes away.

Lovely stay once again
Areas for improvement.....The bathroom lighting was very dim and should maybe consider putting lights above the mirrors. Also the bedroom carpet upstairs had several stains on it. The hot tub cover is hard to get back on as its hard to reach and perhaps a handle or rope could be attached for easy access. Lastly the the garbage cans would not lock and so therefore we had a visitor twice that was interested in the items we through out. Only got a quick glimpse and was NOT afraid! I have rented this cabin 5 years in a row and will again as I love the location and the layout. Also noticed the owners have made several improvements over the years to guarantee continued returns...Thank you we do appreciate it! Lori Emmons

Very clean, spacious, well stocked kitchen
We had a great stay. The house was very clean and the furniture was comfortable. Basement area was a bonus! We cooked each night and the kitchen had really everything we needed. I would remember to bring some kitchen wraps/bags next time. We did lots of 30 min trips to various hiking spots, creeks, swimming holes. Easy to get to if you follow the manager’s directions. We followed GPS on the way in and it was not as easy.

Relaxing and able to spread out
We enjoyed our time at this cabin with lots privacy and things to do......pool table, video game machine, hot tub, fire pit and corn hole. Also it is conveniently located with short drives into Boone in one direction and to Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain in the other direction. A good time was had by all in our family.

Amazing Cabin!
This cabin provided a perfect setting for our family trip! Super-private with enough parking for 3 SUVs. It had plenty of sleeping accomodations for our group of 8. It was extremely clean and fully functional. There was a vast amount of living space on the three separate floors. We had no issues whatsoever during our time there. The firepit, hot tub and pool table were a bonus and we put them to good use. The wrap-around porch with swing, table, and chairs provided some awesome views of the mountains. The kitchen on the lower level was also an added bonus. The location was excellent, about 10-15 minutes to Boone and close to all activities (we did horseback riding, tubing, gem mining, and hiking). The road up to the cabin was a bit challenging, as it's narrow with sharp turns. Recommend the Daniel Boone Inn for a group, family-style dinner in Boone. Thanks for providing a remarkable and memorable cabin for our family get-together, We plan on booking again!

Willow Valley Stay
Very nice place. As advertised and clean. Had a great family vacation. Enjoyed the games, hot tub and fire pit. Had some issues with a toilet and internet connection, but response was quick.

Fantastic Mountain Hideaway
We loved our stay at Willow Valley. The house was spacious and very well stocked. The view from the covered outdoor space was beautiful. We loved eating breakfast out there. The location was also great. We were close by to Boone and other nearby towns. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved the cabin. The setup was great! Lots of room for the kids to move around. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms had plenty of extra blankets. We will probably come back and visit again.

Great house just needs to be cleaned properly
We really enjoyed our stay at this house however it clearly had not been cleaned prior to our arrival! Carpets not vacuumed as there were toys on the floor from the visitors as well as some of the Remnants of their meals! Great location. Would highly recommend this house other than at not being as clean as it should have been!

This House Has Everything for a Great Getaway
This three-story home was immaculate and had everything you need for a fun and very comfortable mountain vacation. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, indoor gas fireplace, and gorgeous views.

We loved the cabin . Kitchen well stocked .Lots of games . We loved the hot tub and pool table . You do need a short pool stick , but no big deal. Loved the location and fire pit. We will for sure be staying again . Thanks for making this house so comfortable and homey. It was a great cabin and having a bedroom on each floor was perfect for our family and grandkids.
