Close to San Marco square
Nice apartment, clean and convenient. The Farini restaurant was very good for take out. For my taste though I would have preferred a less crowded neighbourhood.

This was a fabulous spot to land for the few days we had to explore Venice. The apartment is as the photos suggest with tons of space for two and well appointed in each of the rooms. It was a bit tricky to meet up in front of a busy Rialto Bridge, but once we got our bearings, as best one can in this wonderfully crazy labyrinth of a city, we realized that the location was incredibly easy to get from the Rialto to San Marco and back! Ideal for easy transportation options! Wonderful choice!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious and well-stocked. We were also surprised by how quiet it was once we closed the shutters. Having access to a washing machine was fantastic but the dishwasher was not working during our stay. The hot water is also very patchy. It only lasts for about one minute at a time.
While the space was great for us, it wouldn't suit those with mobility limitations or families with small children. The bedroom is in a loft up a very steep set of stairs and there is no railing. It would be quite dangerous for kids.
I agree with other visitors that it would be helpful for the host to provide some further information on how to use the washing machine, where to drop rubbish etc. We did ask about rubbish at check in and were given very vague instructions that were not helpful when we actually went to try and find the spot. There is also a map but because it's Venice, it too is difficult to interpret!

I would recommend this property. The host was incredibly patient with my lack of knowledge of the Italian language. Beautiful city and the apartment was in a busy but desirable part of the city.

This is a roomy, spacious apartment. The bathroom is large. It is on the 4th floor, no elevator, so pack lightly. But on the 4th floor is lots of natural light, even a balcony off the comfortable bedroom with a large bed and 4 US-sized pillows! The washing machine comes in so handy. This location is a short walk to the Rialto bridge, so in the middle of everything from restaurants, to shopping, to the Grand Canal.

Charming & spacious apartment in a great location
We absolutely adored staying here! We stayed from July 25 -30, 2017. The apartment is beautiful; a duplex with classic Venetian exposed-beam construction. It is comfortable and welcoming. It is charmingly and tastefully furnished. There is a cozy living room which leads into a spacious dining area and kitchen. The bathroom is large and has a beautiful sky light. The bedroom is located on a loft up a flight of stairs, and the terrace is off the bedroom. I loved waking to the light streaming in from the terrace and hearing the church bells, and sitting on the terrace in the evening with a bottle of wine while watching the sun set over the rooftops.
We used the clothes washer (had to google instructions!) and hung them out to dry on the terrace rack. Very convenient!
Location: It is located a very short walk from the Rialto Bridge vaporetto stop which is incredibly convenient for anywhere you want to go.
It's about a 10 minute walk to St. Mark's.
There are loads of restaurants and shops in the area. There are 2 places within just a few steps that are both affordable and authentic
One caution- it is a 3rd floor walk-up with no elevator. It was fine for us, but if you are mobility-impaired, this might be an issue.
Communication: The owner, Ghi, sent very clear instructions and was very helpful. Her mother met us at the vaporetto and led us to the apartment, pointing out useful information along the way.
I didn't want to leave when it was time to go!
We hope to return! Grazie mille, Ghi!!!!

Nice Apartment...
We stayed at the apartment for 3 nights, have some positive and suggestions to the owners for improvements:
The apartment was clean, wonderful location, and spacious. Venice is an amazing city. It's close to the store, to the vaporetto line, rialto bridge, walking distance to san marco's square.
There are some suggestions I have for the owner:
1. Our check-in process was stressful. We were told to wait at vaporetto line 2 Rialto for the owner's mother. We waited for 30-45 minutes and did not find anyone with the description. I was able to find wifi and emailed the owner several times and did not receive a response. I called both the owner and the owner's mother with no answer. Then I finally found her mother and she insisted that I was in the wrong place. I was literally 3 feet away from her... She said we should have been standing in the exit (since people were exiting though, we stepped to the side of that). Once we found her and checked in, it was fine, but the initial process was just confusing. I hope there is a better way moving forward.
2. The apartment was missing some useful items such as a guest book which could hold information such as check out instructions, what to do with the trash, any helpful notes for the guests who are staying. That would have been very helpful, especially because our wifi at the apt stopped working and we didn't know how to reset it. Also we did not know what to do with our trash. I emailed the owner and never received a response so we left it in the apartment.
3. Please upgrade the pillows for the bedroom. The bed was fine, firm mattress, but the pillows were useless. It was pretty bad, no support whatsoever, we actually ended up using the pillows from the couch as we could not use the ones on the bed.
4. The steps going into the apartment are slippery! It's the marble steps going directly into her apartment, they only have tread strips on every other step - so I slipped when coming down the stairs and badly hurt my back and elbows. Be careful when going up and down, especially with luggage.
Other than that, our stay was enjoyable.

Very nice, good location
This suite was pretty sweet! Good amenities, well stocked (except no toilet paper!). Could easily stay here for a week or two. Improvements include providing local map of Venice with good (cheap) restaurants marked, and some work could be done on the patio to make it more welcoming (flowers, replace broken chairs, add some candles). Overall we were pleased.

The apartment was as shown online. It has a great location and the owner, Ghi, is quite flexible.
The apartment has a great location near the Rialto bridge. The accommodations were as shown and it was perfect for us. The host was also wonderful.

central and clean
Ghi, thank you for letting us stay in your apartment. It was very kind of you to have your mother meet us at the vaporetto stop and bring us to the apartment. It is centrally located in Venice so we never had to take another vaporetto besides arriving and departing the city. Everything is walkable in 20 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby but go on the side streets for better deals & better food. The wifi, washing machine and outdoor terrace were wonderful! The apartment was an escape from the many tourists visiting the area, it's definitely not a secluded spot. The apartment was clean, modern and as pictured. The only negative was having no garbage can in the kitchen or bathroom, so we used a shopping bag... and then I didn't know where to dispose of it so I went to a public trash can everyday and one day a vendor scolded me, oops! But otherwise, everything was perfect!

Central location to everything!
You couldn't pick a better spot to feel like you're in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Venice. There's even a gelato shop just steps away (and it's delicious!).
The apartment was cozy and perfect for the two of us. Ghi's mother greeted us at the Rialto stop and escorted us to the entrance (we wouldn't have found it without her!), and took the time to show us the inner workings of the apartment.
A couple things to note that aren't listed - you are responsible for getting soap and toilet paper, which was a bit of a surprise to learn when we arrived. But thankfully the grocery store is very close. There is also no shower curtain in the bathroom, so be careful! And as someone else noted, the street noise below is noticeable.
When you step out the door you're near everything fun to do in Venice. It's an extremely walkable city, and you walk past numerous places to grab a cafe, an afternoon spritz or an evening glass of wine. We really enjoyed our stay, and look forward to visiting again!

Great location!!!
The apartment is in a great location, only about 5 minutes to Rialto bridge. Many restaurants, café, and shops around, it is so good for shopping and eating Italian traditional dinner, as well as drink as we like. The owner is very helpful and gave us a very good advice for our staying. The apartment is very spacious, clean, well-organised for everything we need. The supermarket is only about 5 minutes walking distance. The water bus in Rialto bridge can go everywhere we like, such as San Marco Square...... also it only takes us a very short walk to reach all the sites in Venice. Only the sound protection is not very good, I can hear a lot of noise in the street.

Charming, comfortable and fabulous location!
Our Stay here in Venice was remarkable. My husband and I felt right at home in this quaint and lovely apartment. Loved everything about this apartment from the terrace, beautiful and creative layout, comfort of the living room the light and the beautiful bathtub. Also the best gelato I've had just around the corner.

Cozy and comfortable with a roof terrace to enjoy the sun. Fantastic location
Property is so central to everything you want to visit and you have everything you need on your doorstep. Lovely property although maybe not suitable for everyone with the steep flights of steps you have to climb. We were met at the vaporetto stop and taken to the property which was great because we would never have found our own way there. Everything you could possibly need for a fantastic time in Venice. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

Great Location, Great Apartment
My wife and I stayed here three nights while on a two week vacation in Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia. I had originally booked a B&B that was highly rated but I was very concerned about the size of the room in the pictures. I found this place on VRBO and it seemed to be in a better location, had much more space, and was 2/3rds the price of the B&B. I am very happy that we changed to this place. The location is perfect. Just a couple blocks from the Rialto Bridge but in a side alley so it isn't too noisy.
I e-mailed with Ghia in advance and she instructed us to take the Alilaguna Ferry from the airport to the Rialto Boat Station and she would meet us there. We were to call her once we got on the ferry. This worked pretty well. The ferry was great but I had trouble understanding Ghia on the phone. She speaks a little English but she could not find us. Finally she put a man on the phone that spoke better English and we got connected after about 45 minutes. She walked us to the apartment which was just a short walk from the bridge.
The apartment is on the third floor. The entryway and stairways are nothing to speak of. You have to walk up three large flights of narrow steps. If you don't like stairs this could be an issue. But once you get to the apartment, it is great. I was surprised at how much space we got. It is two floors. The first floor has a living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. The second floor is a loft that has the bedroom. In the bedroom you can walk out one of the windows to a deck that overlooks the roof tops of Venice. The apartment was very neat and clean and looks like it had been recently redone. The bed was comfortable but the ceiling above the bed is sloped and low so you need to be careful when you get up in the morning. The stairs from the first floor to the bedroom loft have no banister or railing so you need to be careful with those as well.
You could not beat this location for walking around Venice. There is a grocery store just down the alley (2-3 minute walk) which comes in handy because you need to get toilet paper and soap. This alley is also quickest route to San Marco Plaza.
The free WI-FI was a little weak but fine for e-mail.
Given the location and size of the apartment I thought this was a great value in Venice. I would definitely stay here again if I ever return to Venice.

Very central lovely apartment
The apartment really is very centrally located - everywhere you would want to go in Venice is within a 15 minute walk. It is so spacious, well decorated and clean! The whole process was extremely smooth and would definitely recommend staying here! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 5*
p.s. a tip for anyone travelling to Venice - it is well worth finding yourself 5 other people who want to travel from the airport to Venice and collectively getting a private water taxi, it will work out cheaper, is much faster and you won't have to wait up to 40 minutes in a queue for the alilaguna (although alilaguna is not that bad, a private boat is much more exciting)!
