I booked this hotel as the location was quick and easy to reach from the highway. Everything was perfectly fine, we did not expect anything more. Dinner was unexciting, but they have quite a nice bar area.

comfortable mattress and pillows, purely
false information about the presence of a car charging station, delivered the strongest nervousness and discomfort. There are 12 charging stations for Tesla on site, but not one for other electric vehicles! and this information is not in the description on Booking!
for this deceit, I asked for a refund and cancel the booking, but the hotel employee said that it was impossible, and false information is the problem BOOKING!!!
By the way, there was not a single Tesla car on the territory of the hotel. Look at the photo.
For the sake of respect for the owners of European brands of electric vehicles, it was possible to afford to install one or two charging stations!!! or specify what is available only for Tesla !!!

Breakfast good … location I. Industrial estate difficult to find
Room had 2 problem … sink did not drain & door very difficult to close … obviously out of alignment as evidenced by the the scratch marks on the frame… been like that for a wile … I did report it to staff.
We had a reservation for dinner … but owning to a large coach … venue very noisy & table offered was totally unsuitable… left in disgust when not offered a suitable alternate

This is the second time I stayed at Novotel Narbonne Sud with my husband & 2 kids (ages 9yrs & 14yrs). We previously came during Covid in 2021, so of course it was a lot more relaxed this time! It's a modern, clean hotel with an an excellent pool, daily cleaning, friendly staff, decent breakfast & free parking - very good value. It's a slightly strange location in an industrial area off the motorway, but there is an excellent organic supermarket 'Grand Frais' nearby as well as a few fast food places (KFC, McDonalds) which makes a change from eating out at pricey restaurants with kids. The famous 'Grand Buffet' is only a 12min walk away too. The hotel is landscaped really well surrounded by trees & shrubs such that the location is disguised somewhat. Gruissan beach and Narbonne beach are around a 20-25min drive away. There is an good beachside restaurant at Gruissan called 'La Paparrazzo' and a fantastic seafood restaurant at the other end of Gruissan beach for freshly caught oysters, prawns, langoustines etc called 'La Perle Gruissanaise'. A great stay overall!
The second sofa bed was a little uncomfortable and the room was on the small size for a family of 4 (though this is probably reflected in the competitive price).

I reserved a family room for 2 nights (2 adults, 1 child of 17, one child of 14) and was assigned a tiny room with a double bed plus two very uncomfortable camp beds. It was hardly possible to move around - even an IBIS Budget room for some 120 EUR/night (incl breakfast) was more comfortable compared to the Novotel rate of 230 EUR (excl breakfast). The shower drain was clogged, but remedied by the hotel staff on short notice. Otherwise the room, bathroom and WC were clean and the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. But the price-to-comfort was excessive, near to a rip-off even for the season.
The size and comfort of the room was well below with what one could expect for a rate of 230 €/night.
