very good location

very good location, in the middle of everything. breakfast was very good. little problem with the Coffee machine, didn't work properly.

overheated rooms for us and we couldn't have some fresh air.

I had a great time!

The staff is very friendly and helpfully! The location is great. Right in the centre of Budapest. The room had the right size, was clean and quiet.

Perfect stay in Budapest

Everything was perfect. Very good position. Good breakfast, cleaning and changing the towels everyday. Perfect stay

Right in the middle of the city and it was quiet

Shower leaked in both rooms and our shower head was broken. Also no window to outside . Looks very different to the pictures

Amazing location can’t wait to come back again

The location of the hotel is very good. There are plenty of shops and restaurant nearby. The breakfast provides a good variety of choices. The price is competitive.

This hotel cannot be directly reached by car. It creates problem for booking outbound transportation, since you have to establish a meeting point with the driver. The bathroom is a bit worn-out, water may leak out from the corner under the glass panel when taking shower.

Only the location was great

The room had no outside window, that was a problem but not such a big one because of the location of the hotel wich is very good right in the midle of the old town. But the noise from the elevator was horible, we could not sleep, all the rooms are near the elevator and that is a problem especialy at night. So at 7 a.m. after my horible night sleep from the noise of the elevator and the uncomfortable bed i was woken up by the smell of food, really really hard smell , the breakfast area was on our floor and the smell was so bad but we could not open the window to get fresh air because we had no outside window. Finally we went to breakfast, the room was very small and other people had no were to sit, so if you dont mind all of that, the location is great, the room was clean but would not stay there again.

Great stay in the heart of Budapest!

The hotel was very well located, in the middle of "Fashion Street" and with easy access to tourist points and public transportation. The room was well sized and comfortable for 3 people. Breakfast was really well served, but the space was tiny and it got a little crowded some days - but overall nothing to complain as the staff was always restocking everything. The staff was very helpful and sorted us a transfer to the airport at 3am in the morning!

Could be better

The location of the hotel is excellent. Staff members at reception were really nice and helpful.

Our room (304) was unbearably hot. The only window we could open led to an internal courtyard right next to the lift which was very noisy. We were given an old fan when we complained but did not help much. We couldn’t sleep comfortably at night. Staff during breakfast weren’t helpful when we asked about lactose and gluten free options.

Everything was beautiful, the location, the people, the breakfast, the room.

The very bad smell in the bathroom and the room could not be solved and the reception did not change our room although we asked.

amazing and helpful staff, great location, good room size

the AC was blasting heat even when selected 17 degrees of cold air - we were told there is nothing to do about it because it was season (the room was just boiling hot all the time). The bed was just super uncomfortable.

At Promenade for New Years'

Excelent location. Walking distance to everything. Clean rooms, comfortable, nice white bed sheets. Complimentary still water bottle in the room - a very nice touch. Good breakfast. Heated rooms. Modern elevator. Very useful set of hygiene products in the bathroom. The best part: hotel receptionist Dorian. Always with a big smile on, very professional, but still friendly, nice conversations and very helpful with everything you need. He has great English language skills. Promenade City Hotel, please consider giving him a raise, he is a most valuable staff member, you cannot afford to lose him and he totally compensates for any faults the hotel might have!

The towels are very tired, slightly grey-ish, they need to be changed with new ones as soon as possible.

it’s good but for a tourist you need a good bed to sleep and good location. location was great but the beds were just ok I felt the rate was too much and the checkout time was too early.
