Nothing
On booking.com promoted facilities that were not available, when challenged the desk manager was not helpful and very obnoxious.

Prima hotel met lekkere ruime kamers. Leuke locatie 10 minuten lopen naar het centrum. Het is een leuke wandeling dus prima te doen. Personeel is erg aardig.

the ambience is lovely and as the sun was shining for a change it made sitting out on the terrace much better.
no complaints at all - although I do like a hot plate for breakfast in the morning. That would be the only thing I'd ask for next time!

Schöne Lage am Meer. Gutes Essen im Restaurant.
Das Zimmer war sehr klein und beengt. Besonders unangenehm war, dass es im Zimmer ungewöhnlich warm war und das Fenster nicht richtig geöffnet werden konnte.

Amazing breakfast service
Was all fine

Lovely room, great location and good value.
Nothing though it would help if actual extra price for dog was clear on Booking.com. Also dogs not allowed in some areas- fine for us as we ate in town but might be an issue for some.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Perfect location so close to the sea and near the town. It was nice and warm and the staff were lovely.

The stay here was perfect from beginning to end. The hotel staff made sure we had a lovely stay, with a towel made into a birthday cake for my partner and very kindly a birthday card too. The room service and housekeeping were very attentive and the breakfast was out of this world. Sea view room and lovely surroundings, Folkestone is underated!
Thank you for making our stay extra special,

Nice staff and reception area. Room of a decent size. Bathroom quite modern.
Windows didn't shut properly, which is a big problem when the location is VERY windy. Noise kept me up all night.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one.
the decorating does need a bit of tlc

Unbelievably "space-y" (in terms of space) for a hotel right next to the seafront and 12mins to the tunnel. We had two rooms, arrived on a stormy winter evening, could park right in front of the hotel. There's an in-house-restaurant (with room service) which we didn't use because of early departure. Friendly check-in took 1min. And there's THAT view!!!
We will return, so – nothing wrong, I guess :-)

It was clean, great location, beautiful view, warm room.
The bathroom had dust build up in the corners (this is me being really picky) The staff could have been a little more attentive. Our bed was 2 singles put together so had a lump in the middle. Despite my groans I would recommend this place.

here’s the thing it is a most fabuloso hotelle however I can’t help noticing that my reviews are considerably better than some of these others who are just pissed they can’t find something to complain about
what I didn’t like is, as ever, I am being followed or gang stalked by a rather sensitive bunch of uh Londoners and they are simply unable to even contemplate tolerating anyone who’s idea of a review is to discuss how smelly the toilet is?

lovely setting, quiet, near the beach and lovely walks, 5-10 mins to High Street shops etc and walk to Creative quarter. Hotel staff gave exceptional welcome always very supportive and helpful. would definitely go back for another stay.
Lovely old property, thoughtfully decorated that makes the most of the architectural points of the property. En-suite bathroom simple, well appointed. Plush white towels. Soft good mattress.

gorgeous view, lovely well appointed room, very comfortable bed
needs to be better about allowing early check-in, or provide an option where you can pay for an early check-in in advance.

The view,a signature room. Was really nice ,the evening meal was good value limited choice but still good choices, drink prices were reasonable a very nice wine for£27 extras in the room bath robes slippers ,juices replenished daily coffee machine great view
My pet hate ,check in at 3we rolled up about 1,15 told check in at 3!no effort to check if room was available, just when I asked is it possible room my room could be possible be ready , no effort to speak to house keeping to see if the room was available, other saying the top floor was being renovated,my take on that they had less rooms to clean ,very few cars parked near or nearby, it’s hotels first point of contact,we book hotels quite regularly some are very obliging (Clifton Hotel) it doesn’t take long to make a little effort to be obliging
