Necessary stop between Alesund and Bergen

This is typically a place where you end up if you don't want to make a travel day of say 10 hours from Ålesund to Bergen. The village itself is nothing to write home about, the hotel is located in an area where they are building wildly and you can see that, nothing fits together. In the hotel itself it was a bit unclear, the extension of the hotel is not consistently incorporated in the signs everywhere, for example the elevator suggests going up to and including the fourth floor, but once in the elevator it turns out that there is also a fifth floor. Dinner was rather chaotic to say the least. The staff employee at the entrance was constantly walking away, then serving drinks and often untraceable. We skipped the buffet, it was not worth the price they charge you. Instead we ordered something from the menu, not very special. The breakfast buffet was even more chaotic if possible: practically everything ran out and was not refilled. The layout of the restaurant made it very restless, people try to find a passage everywhere and only with chairs that were placed very spacious guests managed to stop the walkaround. The hotel room itself was fine, and the same goes for the lady who checked us in, she was very professional and helpful, but the restaurant is really not recommended.

It was OK.

The hotel is conveniently located in Forde for an overnight stay to rest between road trips. The exterior of the building looks great. The best breakfast we ever had in Norway. Free parking. Very friendly staff.

The rooms were extremely hot as it was an exceptional sunny day and the rooms lack good ventilation. No help for the luggage as expected. The fridge in both rooms do not work.

Definately not 4 star worthy

The beds were comfortable and the property had a small travelers gym

The staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, especially the receptionist. I had to request information about the property, such as where the fitness facility was and whether I had to register my vehicle for the parking. When registering the vehicle on their system she would rather flirt with another guest than assist

A comfortable hotel to a city, staying for overnight.

The room was spacious, nice breakfast, pool area fine and gym.

Could tell is a bit old and not very well preserved.

Disappointing

Breakfast was great!

Smelled like cigarettes (non smoking hotel), thin walls, no view, very little parking, under construction, out of the 4 Scandic hotels I stayed at during this two week trip, this was my least favorite.

Bad customer service

Pleasant staff, clean

I checked in after a road accident nearby. Within 5 minutes, the recovery truck returned and said they could move us to Bergen. We hadn't even had time to find our room. I returned the key card to reception, unused and asked if I could cancel for a refund. They refused. Very poor customer service

We arrive late. But everything went well! We registered; get to the clean and sizy room! The bed was good so we spend an great night!

Breakfast was good. Balcony.

Carpets nearly everywhere...could almost taste the dust mixed with chloride from the pool. No AC.

Overnight stay in transit, good breakfast

Very good breakfast buffet, good shower

Backward room, construction works on the hotel facade, window opens to inner court yard with open underground parking of adjacent buildings, curtains grey and spotty

easy to find, lots of parking opportunities and loved the pool and gym. breakfast was great too.

there were constructions going on during the day, not really relaxing
