Great location! Breakfast was delicious. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms beautiful.
Pillows were too soft and you could hear the people on floor above banging around.

The location was excellent
The room we had was great but little things like the night light above my bed was broken and needed a complete new fitting.

Breakfast was great, good selection. The executive club was fantastic, great place to get away to after busy day for quiet drinks and good view.
Mini bar did not get restocked even though that was part of the package.
No spare pillows, would have been nice to have a spare 1-2 in cupboard for those that like a firmer pillow.

This was my second time staying in Pan Pacific, but the first time we requested for an earlier check in and there was a confirmation about us being able to check in at a certain time, including providing us a high floor staying experience which makes me wanting to go again. They even gave us a complimentary wine for me and my partner
This was the second time I booked as I upgraded my stay to a city skyline view for $39 extra, they gave us the lower floor which doesn’t make sense for me paying extra. I requested for an early check in and they didn’t even confirming or choose to decline the request which makes me and partner felt uncomfortable. If the customer service can be firm in rejecting mentioning that we can’t provide you an early check in, we won’t be frustrating with the rejected request. but the answer we got was I can’t guarantee you this and that, i just need to know if yes or no only, we can plan our day instead of hanging us around like oh, if the rooms ready, you can check in early. After i received the message at around 11am, they gave us a room at level 8? I paid extra not to stay at a lower level even the room size are the same. Spoke straight away at the reception that can we have a higher level, she replied: No, this is the best we can provide. But after filing a complaint to the manager, she allowed us to stays in level 14 with a later check in time. We travel back and forth from city because of this things happen.

Superb suite overlooking the river, the executive lounge in particular is excellent; staff, food and choices more than sufficient before and after your day.
What isn’t obvious unless you know the area is the hotel is part of and adjacent to the Melbourne Conference Centre, the lobby, shared spaces and all around outside the hotel is wall to wall people, including weekends. Coach’s packed with children queuing down the road!
Not a show stopper of course but if you hate crowds the avoid the Pan!

Good location on the Yarra river, with plenty of choices for restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was good and the room was spacious with a nice view towards the river and the city
Some refurbishment would help the place look nicer. The card readers in the lift don’t work properly and we often had to try a few times before we could finally select our floor. During our stay we were out for most of the day, coming back at around 5:30-6:00 PM: room cleaning had not been done yet and they were knocking at our door after we had gone back to our room; as we were changing before going out for dinner, they couldn’t come in, so we ended up having our room cleaned only once during our 4-night stay. Also, in most hotels water is complementary and we were assuming the same here, since still water was not mentioned on the price list of the minibar; however we were charged for it at checkout; not a big fuzz, we would have paid anyway, but for transparency the price should’ve been there.

The location was ideal for my wife and i as it was within walking distance of CBD but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of what comes with large cities.
It was also ideally situated within southbank where there were more restraunts and cafes that you could visit in a lengthy stay.
The hotel itself was clean and pleasant with great staff and a fantastic buffet breakfast.
I would have to nitpick to find a fault, which i cant.
