Very central in the old town, historic building

Was a bit run down, could be maintained a bit better. Very difficult to find and the personnel were not helpful at all to get there. In other old towns we stayed, someone from the hotel would come and get us at a specific point when it was difficult to locate it on our own. Very noisy at night even though a sign asks to stay quiet after 22:00, it is not respected and people made noise until past midnight

Don't look elsewhere and stay here

The place itself - gorgeous, perfect location, incredible building. Super comfortable rooms. Nice atmosphere. And the staff! The guy in the evening (Sheriff, I'm spelling your name wrong for sure) and the girl in the morning, they know how to make you feel home from the moment you cross the door. Don't look elsewhere and stay there!

Breakfast was really nice.

Initially the two day washroom and bathroom had no soaps. Also the kitchen was a bit messy.

A piece of art

All tourists should stay here at least one night to see how beautiful it is. Apart from that, it was also very central, clean and comfy. I had good breakfast and dealt with very kind staff.

I would say that Fauzi Azar hostel can offer very personal and friendly atmosphere among guests. Receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. :)

Pleasent stay in a nice hostel

Fantastic breakfast with local food (hummus and something similar to mesa'a'ah), the location was very nice in an old renewed building, and the common spaces were very comfortable and beautiful. Moreover, I had the possibility to have a little and pleasant free tour of the old city with a local guy. It was a cool experience, and I will do it other times. Very good value and price.

The room was also very nice, but it should be arranged better with more bedside tables and phone positions also for the bunk bed. I was unlucky and slept on the top of a bunkbed with no protection. For me, it has been a little distressing.

Nice place

It looks like an old palace :) I only stayed there because it was getting dark so I didn’t want to continue my trip. It was good value for money. Good breakfast included, but low variety (not too many options to choose from). But the place is a good option for a few nights and probably it is perfect for the summer.

The room was very cold (in January) even if the heater was on. The room is tall (over 3m probably) so it is getting heated slowly.

Amazing hostel close to sightseeing objects

The place is an old Arabic building, what means amazing. The receptionists are service-minded. The breakfast is good. There was an AC and there were extra blankets. There was also a kitchen, though everyone could cook it's own meal, if they wanted.

The amount of showers and toilets was low.

truly exceptional

my stay at fauzi azar in nazareth was beyond my expectations: the place is absolutely beautiful, it's calm, it got everything you need and the entire staff is the nicest - tbh one of the best hostels i've ever stayed at. s/o to shareef, the receptionist, one of the members of the staff, who was extremely obliging, kind and always asking if i needed anything. his daily tour of the city is also the best! i strongly recommend this hostel.
