very nice place to stay, friendly staff and in a great location.

Enjoyed the facilities and of course the location was amazingly close to everything. Staff were very nice.

I thought the room was a bit out dated with the mahogany furniture. There was also a wedding on the 2nd night we had to share the other bar with which was a shame along with not being able to eat there that night.

Wasn’t expensive for a May Day away but dated

As you come in it’s looks nice and well presented Staff were extremely helpful and friendly

Room was small and dated, peanuts on the floor, window was dirty and grubby (could have been mould around the outsides of the window) Spa needed a makeover and update, ceiling panels were brown and Jacuzzi was poor

Amazing stay and would recommend highly.

The Complimentary spa usage - jacuzzi, swimming pool, sauna and the steam room - provided towels as well. In addition, breakfast was amazing in the morning, hot and fresh full english and nice and warm croissants and pain au chocalat and danishes,

Coffee machine in breakfast is a bit too over used so needs changing.

When do I make time to go back!

Easy access to beach . Amazing staff, who were super friendly and helpful.

If you wanted to be Very very picky - there was was tiny bit of mould in bathroom, but it did not affect our amazing stay.

Paying for parking should have been included.. Breakfast was nice but not £14. If we had our kids with us we would have had to eaten out due to cost.

A few minutes walk from the sea. Overall hotel was nice but dated decor wise. Very slow service in restaurant for evening meal despite restaurant being quiet.

Lovely staff and overall a good stay but very dated room

The staff were lovely, the breakfasts were good and again staff were really helpful with my gluten intolerance, and there was parking

Our room was small despite being an upgraded option, it was dated, the aircon was noisy, the parking spaces were tiny and our neighbours were loud (no sound proofing). Overall not the quality we expected for the price.

Pleasant with a few mishaps

Good breakfast Warm welcome Good pool Gym needs a little modernisation

Bedroom was boiling and aircon did not work. I realised just before the person left the front desk. Short version, took the best part of an hour to get a room change leaving me rather grumpy at midnight 3rd night - a Visit from 2 large spiders as window didn’t close fuly

It was our 24th wedding anniversary we really enjoyed ourselves

poor experience

Not much. The bed was comfortable

the radiator had no control valve, so it had to be switched off byq maintenance. I paid to upgrade to a suite which was meant to have full air con, but it wasn't full in all rooms and didn't work also. I did get the upgrade money refunded

A surprise, just not a good one.

The interior was well decorated and the Spa was more than expected.

First impressions destroyed this experience. Drab and run down from the exterior, it’s not all welcoming. The Car park is tiny and poorly laid out. Every time we came the car park people were struggling to manoeuvre with many cars double parked blocking other users. The room itself was spacious, as expected for the room I had paid for, but noisy plumbing and a bath that wouldn’t fill just took the edge off an otherwise nice room. The two receptionists I dealt with were pleasant and friendly. Everyone else seemed down and/or disinterested.

Relaxing getaway

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast and lovely spa facilities.

We did not receive robes and slippers for the spa in our rooms and staff at the spa were a little put out by this.

Size of room, windows to open, English Breakfast, Spa facilities were great. Restaurants close by. Walking to beach not to far away. Staff were friendly and helpful due our stay. Open fire area was a nice place to stay. Life music was brilliant.

The shower was poor. Very little pressure. On arrival the wash base surface was sprinkled with green staff. The rug in front of reception was not safe on the floor came off the double sided band. Continental breakfast, you have to ask for it, like, cheese, ham, sausage meat and egg. It was not available on the buffet.

Pleasant stay but could be better

Nice hotel overall, room was lovely, comfortable large bed.

Really hot in the room overnight despite turning down radiators and opening as many windows as we could. The spa facility is in need of an update. The pool was smaller than we expected with some missing tiles. Sauna out of order. Would check spa facilities at a hotel much more thoroughly next time.

👌🏼 experience!

The staff really make this place. They cannot do enough for you. The conversation feels genuine too. The staff really are excellent in every sense of the word. The rooms are pretty nice, comfortable beds, plenty of pillows. The hotel itself is really nice with open fires and a very relaxing atmosphere. Very clean, nice relaxing areas. Everything's pretty accessible too. I'd definitely stay again and recommend. The half board option is fabulous value for money. I will definitely book this option again. Very much looking forward to our return.

If I really had to pick a fault I'd say the scallops needed to be crispy on the top, they were slightly under done but delicious, the chips were a bit under done too and the pannacotta was not a pannacotta, it was a moose. I don't think it had any gelatin in. It was set in a bowl, and the consistency was a thick moose, non the less it was a plesant taste, and the texture was nice too if ordering and expected a moose. I still very much enjoyed it and definitely would book the half board option again. The steak platter was absolutely beautiful. All food was on the cold side, and nothing came out piping hot, not even the starters or the peppercorn sauce, which was disappointed. The muscles were very bland, the sauce had been cooked with no herbs, more so butter, cream and possibly a small amount of wine but not enough to cut the richness of the butter and . By no means am I complaining. We are big foodies. We ate it and were pleased. It was plentiful, hot plates were given. I would eat there again on the half board option. it's great value for money. PersonallyI wouldnt bok the resturant if not using the half board option but thats just me, i am a big foodie and i do have high expectations althoughhot food being served at least warm and chips being cooked doenst seem a high standard. The steak was slightly overdone, but it was actually delicious, a really nice cut of meat. The staff in the restaurant, bar and breakfast room were absolutely fantastic! So attentive, so helpful. They really couldn't do more. The reception lady is very smiley and helpful too, exactly what you need to greet you on reception. The half board option is fabulous value for money! You really can't go wrong. The restaurant does have a cafe feel, but we asked to be seated somewhere else and were immediately granted this. They also had soft jazz playing. That was a really nice touch. It was lovely.
