Na gelezen te hebben de vele positieve reviews kom ik toch wel met een andere review.
Wij hebben dit guesthouse geboekt voor 2 dagen maar zijn slechts één nacht verbleven. Wij vonden het heel teleurstellend en voor een prijs , die het niet waard is. Het enige positieve was het bed, dat was uitstekend. De rest was teleurstellend, vieze douche, de dispenser was gevuld met waterdunne zeep, de wastafel die niet afloopt, de handdoeken vond ik stinken, de tv functioneerde niet, geen kastruimte, op het (super kleine) terrasje stond slechts één (kapotte) stoel. Het guesthouse had totaal geen Balinese sfeer, was erg afgelegen (een half uur met de auto naar centrum Ubud), gelegen op een kampung, donker, weinig verlichting, 's avonds een onveilig gevoel. Het guesthouse had ook geen tuin, had wel een klein sfeerloos zwembad met stil water en zag er vreselijk vies uit, veel rotzooi op de bodem, wij hebben er ook geen gebruik van durven maken. Het ontbijt was heel erg matig(French toast, 2 sneetjes, geen fruit), het bestek was vies, gevraagd om tissues maar die hadden ze niet. Dus hier komen wij nooit meer.

The bed and pillows were very comfy. It was difficult to get out of bed cause it was comfy.
I liked that they had a little kitchen area with a fridge for everyone to use. Staff was really nice.
I liked that the bathroom had a bench in it to set my stuff.
It was kind of tucked away from things. Then the sounds of construction nearby. Not an issue in the room though, but that loud frog in the pond next door to my room needs a new friend to keep it company.
Only real complaint is that the light switch for the room was located on the opposite end of the bed next to the night stand. Not a convenient spot.

The water didn’t have pressure so the showers were horrible and the breakfast was normal.

We loved to be surrounded by nature and out of the chaos, yet only 15 min away from Ubud area. Rooms were clean and cozy, the breakfast very tasty and all the people of the staff incredibly nice!

Great location, spacious and comfy bed and the staff were super lovely and helpful.
We needed the air con on overnight and there was a light from it that made the room bright, but it was nothing that an eye mask couldn’t fix!

The staff were excellent, extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot fault the hospitality.
The room was painted in grey and I found it difficult to feel uplifted with such surroundings. A kettle and wardrobe would have been helpful. As a single woman, the distance to the centre was far longer than what other reviewers had written. It was too far for me.
But if you're on a budget and don't mind basic facilities and walking, this is a decent place. The staff are wonderful.

The people were really friendly and I thought the location is good, but turns out not when it’s raining, then you are far from everything.
The room I stayed in closest to the kitchen was terribly mouldy and damp. There are no windows, no bathroom ventilation and the walls are full of moisture so you basically sleep in the dampness. There is no door so you constantly smell sewerage. There were a leak from the bathroom as well so my bags were wet. No cupboard so you have to hang your clothes in the bathroom and after day 2 my dry clothes were so damp I had to hang them outside to dry. I also woke up with a cough after 2 nights. There is a construction site next door. You can hear the voices in the next door room every night. No too sheets so you have to sleep under a damp duvet or on top of it. Very terrible stay / room. The photos are misleading. Breakfast NOT included. This room should not be on booking.com.

You definitely need a scooter to go to Ubud. No hot water.

We liked the location, very quit yet the center of Ubud is not far. We enjoyed the morning walk through the farms and rice field behind.
Breakfast was amazing.

The hosts were very hospitable and friendly.
The room was clean and tidy.
The serenity and quiet which I didn't mind but husband was not a fan.
The shower wasn't working.
TV is not connected to any cable.
Location. Doesn't have any meal options except breakfast. we didn't mind walking, but it was far from anything, as there were no places to eat nearby, about 20-30min walk to just eat. Maybe they can look at adding this.
Bed was hard to sleep on. We only stayed 1 night tho initially I had booked 5, husband said no, he wanted to be comfortable and we checked out the next morning.

This property is BEAUTIFUL, CLEAN AND QUIET. Not far from the centre but far enough to get away from the busy city centre. We had to urgently book this property at 8:00 pm as we had a really bad experience with our previously booked room at Umah San, Ubud (Room had black mould all over it and their staff did not offer us another room). I'm so glad we chose this place. We got greeted by lovely staff that even carried my backpack and bag to the room. The room was very clean and had a modern, clean bathroom. It had a lovely, inviting pool as well. The staff was super friendly and it also had a water refill station.

The accomodation is within walking distance to Ubud Yoga Centre in a quiet location, and very close to the main road where many laundry shops, other small restaurants and other shops can be found.

A mini-resort in style, very nicely done. Comfortable and not overly hard large bed, pleasant and attractive decor and a good bathroom. Nice gardens and a good view over a neighbouring rice field. Nice, simple breakfasts. Everything works properly and it's within reasonable walking distance to cafes and restaurants. The small pool was great for cooling off or getting a back massage from the jets.
The (women) staff and owner are amazing. They really care about their guests and try so hard to give you a really enjoyable stay. They had such a warm and generous spirit of kindness, I appreciated them so much.

The pool isn’t cleaned, there is no door between room and bathroom therefore the smell is coming into the room. Sheets are old with a yellow nuance. There was water leaking through the roof during a heavy raining.

The place is incredibly beautiful, clean and comfortable. It isn’t too big so it has a familiar feeling and everything is tailored to the customer’s needs. It is at just 5 minutes from the center of Ubud but it’s located in a quiet, peaceful field so the only sound that you hear is nature. Great bed, clean bathroom, stunning little garden with pool. The husband is vey helpful with everything that you might need and the wife will cook you the yummiest breakfast in Ubud. All sort of services are available. Such a perfect stay.

am sorry to give friendly folks a poor review, but this was so disappointing. from the rating, i really expecte a beautiful rest, but it wasnt....Don´t get me wrong, the staff and owner is really nice!!!
From a very spicy nasi goreng for my daughter, to the tiny, pool, the many big ants in the room, plus not even a water boiler in the room, i expected somethig really different. Please be prepared for that, there is no luxury at all. sorry :( They were maybe trying

Very beautiful spot just outside . rooms are cleaned every day, very nice and helpful staff.
Just be aware that you need a scooter anytime you want to go to ubud centre as walking is a bit far / monkey forest is in between. Would be even better if this accommodation offers food options.

The guest house is located in a very convenient location - with walking distance to cafes and restaurants, the city center is just a few minutes away. We loved the friendly and helpful staff! hearty and delicious breakfasts! and so de friendly doggie - Bella!
the only negative was that during our stay the pool was not cleaned and it was possible to swim in it) otherwise - all the conditions are wonderful!

- affordable rate with quite good facilities and amenities e.g. TV (even only national channels!), bath towel, AC, outdoor pool
- Quite good Wi-Fi connection
- Good location. Close to a lot of cafe, warungs, grocery stores.
- No drinking water in the room (maybe because of pandemic and promo rate? :) ).
- no electric socket in the bathroom.
- could hear people playing and talking in the pool from inside the room.
