The size of room, the staff, the breakfast (very local)
The bathroom (tap was not functioning and shower with very low pressure)

The room was beautiful and big. The breakfast was lovely, however it is located a short walk away in another hotel. Was not an inconvenience for us but could see it could be for others.
While our room was huge and adjoining room for the kids, the bathroom was tiny and just hard to move around.
The shower was either very hot or very cold. This "issue" was brought to our attention from the staff at check in and the accommodated us by giving us access to another room to use the bathroom whenever we wanted. I thought this was nice touch.

Breakfast wonderful! Staff at hotel extremely helpful and friendly.
Although staff delivered fan to my room, air conditioning could have improved sleeping experience. Windows open brought pesky mosquitoes in the room. Bar had nice cool air conditioning, so I know it was possible.

Nardo is amazing
The hotel we were supposed to stay in was closed and we were moved to another
The hotel we were put in was an ex monastery and it was described as an upgrade ..but I am not sure
The hotel we stayed in was weird
Whilst one member of staff was brilliant, a guy, the rest were a bit weird and grumpy

Breakfast was in a local bar on the main piazza and was very good - we had to pay though to have a second coffee.
See above note - usually extra coffee is included

it’s a beautiful, peaceful old palazzo that served as the ideal base to explore Nardò and Salento. it’s location, decor, and energy were exactly what we’re looking for.

We were welcomed and we liked the character of the property - it was quaint and quirky. we had an excellent meal at night and it was a very special dinner. the most expensive during our holiday but the fish of the day dish was amazing!
We would have liked milk to have with tea or coffee but when we asked for milk to have with a cuppa, we were offered two lovely coffees done exactly as we liked as the chef came out to check and we were charged 5 E. It would have been a nice gesture to have been offered a drink for no charge. we never used the teas made in the room.
Air con was not great at cooling the room.

They changed our room and we stayed at Relais Monastero Santa Teresa instead. It was amazing, the building is spectacular and they have looked after every detail. The beds are very comfy and the breakfast was fantastic with lots of options.
If we come back to Nardo, we will definitely stay here again.
There was nothing we did not enjoy. If we had to say something, we would have probably prefered if there was a 24h reception but this is just a personal taste. The whole stay was fantastic, the team very friendly and the location is perfect to explore the old town.

Located on one of the streets upon entering the old town, so was very easy to park without having to lug suitcases too far. Parking also free and easy to find!
Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Also some beautiful items to purchase in the little reception shop.
Room was very big and clean, aircon was a godsend in the heat and bed very comfortable. The prices for the minibar/fridge were also very reasonable.
The courtyard breakfast spot was very pretty, with lots of foliage, traditional stonework and cool shade, and the views from the terrace beautiful. Breakfast was also very tasty!
Some items we ordered for our breakfast were missed off each day, and would be nice to fill out a new form for the following day just in case you wanted to change things up a bit.
Would also be nice to have a bit more information about the restaurant there e.g. a menu in the room or just more awareness provided.
Minor points however and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

They upgraded us with an other room within the other facility they manage nearby the mignano..the room they gave us inside this monastery in the centre of nardo' was stunning!! I'm sure that also the mignano would have been the same . Strongly recommended.
The tv was very small and not very new ..maybe a more recently model would have been an extra touch! The wifi reception wasn't very strong.

the property was perfect

We were offered an upgrade and stayed in a wonderful suite at Monastero Santa Teresa. Both locations are worth a visit, as they are historical baroque palaces. The room was equipped with a large bathtub, living room and balcony. The breakfast was also excellent. Staff was kind and professional.

The place is stunning, we can't imagine what could have been better.
+ Located in the city center
+ Lots of helpful tips (restaurants, activities, etc.)
+ super friendly staff (we had a 6 month old boy with us and they were super friendly, also we had a flat tire and they helped in best possible way)

Beautiful rooms and courtyard. Parking nearby. We were 3 adults and we had closed off rooms which I found very nice.

The property has been sympathetically restored and it was a delight to stay here.
The staff were fantastic .
I would recommend this property and I would stay here again.
We brought the wrong plug to charge our phones and needed some milk to drink tea. Both were supplied to our room within minutes of the request. Thank you. Exceptional customer service.
Nothing. I would only suggest that a USB port is installed in each bedroom to make charging devices simpler.

The location is amazing: an old building in the city center close to all bars and restaurant. The renovation has been done in line with the environment. Everything really thought and classic!

The staff Gigi and Aurora were exceptional! It was a beautiful building. Our room was large and comfortable. Cleanliness was superior. Location was perfect and there was free parking a few steps away.
One night A/C was not working.
The shower didn’t drain fast enough and the water filled the basin.
Another night we could not get the electronic entry door opened. It took about 20 before we could get in.

Lovely location slightly uncomfortable seats
More choices of savoury cheeses etc would be good.

Professional and courteous staff, beautiful rooms and delicious dinner. Perfect location to see the sights of Nardo. English speaking staff was not expected but certainly helpful for our first visit to Italy.
Room was warm even with the a/c on, but not unbearable.

A beautiful pleasabt place, right near the Plaza. Very friendly staff, and a highly recommended restaurant. We liked the nice smell of the central spaces.

The roof terrace
Breakfast was a bit poor. Due to covid-19 safety measurements it was not possible to serve yourself from the buffet, and this is totally understandable, but the stuff was clearly not prepared for serving breakfast, they forgot to bring half of the stuff we asked for and the
portions were quite small!

We were upgraded to a suite which was much nicer than the room we had booked. The wine in the room was very reasonably priced and really fantastic.
