The staff was prompt, helpful and professional. The breakfast was delicious and original. The view from the terrace on the lake was breathtaking.
The view from my room was to the neighboring building.

The breakfast was ok but standard. Good that they have different breakfast prices depending on the age of children.
Great view over the Ossiacher Sea.
We would not reccomend this guest house because of several reasons. nem ajánlott
1)Difficult to communicate with the owners and employees, they only speak Hungarian not German or English in an German speaking Country.
2)we did not trust the bookings in the restaurant because we did not receive bills at the end oft he dinner. Waitresses told us that the guest house reception takes care of the bills.
3) The owners are noisy during night time and partying until 4.am, the room of the owners was below our room.
when we call attention the owner played dumb and did not know anything about a party or the noise.
4)The telephone number of Gabi's guest house on the website booking.com or google maps is wrong
5)The food of the restaurant at the guest house is terrible, breakfast ok but standard.
We ordered Tramezzini with different spreads and chicken salad. The food is not homemade. It is canned food and junk food.

Nice view on the lake from the restaurant
It was not straight forward to find out where the reception was (it is at Jägerhof btw).
I came by bike and i was not prepared to the very steep ascent to the property

We liked free parking space, beautiful view and easy access to garden and restaurant (our room was on the ground zero).
There were some small technical issues with the shower, but nothing important.

Awesome view over the Ossiach Lake and the Burgruine Landskron. Comfy bed, modernized facilities. Very friendly personell. Since we were there during European Bike Week the rates were rather high. I would definitely recommend taking a room in the Jägerhotel / Jägerhof, which is right next door, because there are newer and larger rooms at mostly the same rate. It is owned by the same people and both guest houses share one reception (which is in the Jägerhotel anyways)
The rooms are quite small. They have been modernized not too far back, but apparently they took an already small room and build a bathroom into it, made mostly out of glass, which lacks some privacy when spending time in the bathroom. We did not try the breakfast for 14 Euros.

locality was very good, but we had very small room (in one room there were wc and bathroom) but I liked staying there. 7/10 points:)

I arrived befor checkin-time and was alliwd to leave my luggagw.
Single room was small, bit newly renovated, cody, simple style with bathroom built in. Would choose Gabi‘s Guesthouse again.

Perfect view. We booked gabi's but got a room in the connected jägerhotel next door..
If you don't have a car, bit far up. And no good signs to find it on the street.

Great view and comfortable bed.
Reception is in the Hotel next door, rang the desk bell and waited 5 mins with other guests no one arrived. Went to the restaurant to find a member of staff who then left the bar and checked us in. Rooms are small as other reviews stated so no surprise there but the bathroom is tiny and without any means of ventilation as the extractor fan was inoperative. Communal terrace from room. Bar closed at 21:00.
