The friendliness of the staff. The welcoming smile from reception. Views were amazing from balcony. Very clean rooms. Would 100% return.

The room had sea view/view over Telendos Island. There is a bus stop just next to the hotel.

It was difficult to locate the property. There is a (newer as it seems) hotel named "Aphrodite Studios", just a 4-minute drive or 15-minute walk from this place. In Greek, the original name for both "Aphrodite" and "Afroditi" is the same, "Αφροδίτη", while the version "Afroditi" is considered grammatically a wrong one according to basic rules. The room is actually much smaller than what it appears in the official photos of the property on booking. The bathroom had a bad smell (sewage). The balcony was so small, two adults can hardly sit.

Clean ,comfortable , excellent value, helpful staff. Views to die for. Beautiful island.

Situation is a bit of a walk to the bars, up a steep hill. But to have the views it's a minor negative.

Good location for climbers, and as it's up the hill behind the main street of Masouri it's quieter (and easier to find parking) although you'll hear traffic throughout the night due to the one-way road system. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels and bedding changed every 3 days. The hotel is just by a flight of stairs that lead you into town, so you're no more than 5 min from most of the local amenities as well as the beach. Easy to get to a number of crags like Gerakios, Poets etc without having to drive. The AC worked well, the little fridge was a great size for keeping a few bottles of cold water, fruit and veg chilled, and there is reliable hot water at any time of the day. The room was on the small side but there was plenty of space under the bed for us to stash bags, suitcases etc.

The double room came with a small kitchenette but there isn't much surface space at all, so it's not convenient to prepare a meal and it's easier to make use of the common kitchen (there are only two hobs in the kitchen in the corner by the sink, so be prepared to wait your turn).

Fantastic and authentic Greek accommodation, with excellent views... perfect for climbers. The walk up the hill at the end of a climbing day is 'invigorating', but also allows to experience the local architecture and alleyways that somewhere right in town would not.

Nice clean and bright room with an amazing balcony view across to the island of Telendos. Staff wonderful, very helpful. Central to Massouri and good access to walk to the climbing, and near the bus stop. Just 5 minutes walk uphill from the main shopping street. It also has a 2 ring hob and fridge in the room, but also a large communal cooking area if you want to be social, which is also kept nice and clean and is fairly spacious.

It's just above the road but this didn't bother us, but if you don't like traffic noise maybe it would.
